[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently bought this pedestal set and I absolutely love them. I have a bad back so bending down To get the laundry was hard. Once I got the pedestals installed it lifted the washer and dryer by about a foot and now the opening sits about two and a half feet off the ground which makes switching the laundry so much easier and much more convenient. I suggest that anyone who buys a front loading set accompany it with the pedestals. Very easy to install the dryer, the washer definitely is heavier but still a easy install with two people. Or you can pay a fee which is reasonable and have it professionally done. I’m so glad I bought these. Life savers.

after discussions with three persons at samsung i found no one knows the interior height dimension of the drawer? other reviewers have commented standard laundry product packages do not fit. before purchase i thought i'd first find out myself. for a set of $500 drawers i'd think that would be published information. apparently samsung doesn't feel that's important. the samsung salesperson suggested i just return the two pedestals if i'm not satisfied. :/ well they're now ordered and on the way. i'm hopeful this is not a waste of my time.

i purchased two of these, and unfortunately only one came with the hardware bag for securing the washer and dryer to the tops of these. of course, i did the dryer first since that way i didn't have to disconnect the gas line and such, so now it's too late to pull them off of that and use them on the washer which is much more likely to need these... it's tall, but not tall enough for tall liquid laundry bottles. doesn't bother me, i use pods and that fits in here fine. solid, a bit hokey with the hardware getting screw holes to line up right, had some inventive words i was using there when getting the dryer secured. all set to secure the washer and put it in place and now i can't, so have to find if i can buy the hardware set separately or something...

we replaced a kenmore washer and pedestal combination with samsung products. the volume of the samsung pedestal seems smaller and the overall height with the washer is taller than the old unit. cosmetically, i do not think the design is very good when stacking a unit. there is about an one inch gap between the washer and the pedestal. the covers to hide the washer's feet only do a minimal job. i would rather see one piece of plastic hiding the feet and the gap between the two units. with the high quality samsung is portraying, i guess i expected the overall appearance of the pedestal with a washer to be more refined and upscale. i had the installer come back and look at the unit. they say the installation is correct and there is nothing that can be done with the gap.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I bought 2 pedestals because we had to leaning down every time we wash or dried cloth and as you get older you start feeling the back pain. If you already have a washer/dryer you need someone to help you put them on top of the pedestals and the legs are easy to hold with the supplied accessories. The storage in the pedestal is pretty good, it comes with an optional divider. My main use is just for the convenience that my family and I don't have to be leaning down as both washer/dryer are about my height.

very disappointed in height and functionality of unit. i replaced my old front load with a pedestal, where i stored all my laundry and cleaning supplies in. same ones do not fit this unit. now it' too late, because they are here and installed. ugh looks nice and it lifts the unit which is good, but if laundry detergent items an not be stored, what good is it. sad to think that on day 1 and i cant wait until it breaks and i get a new set, which probably will not be a samsung unless they change this .

The packaging was hefty and they arrived without a scratch. The color is just wonderful. Loads of storage space! The height of the inside drawer accommodates my laundry soap pods, pre-treatment sprays, dryer sheets, and the 50 oz bottles of detergents and fabric softeners - just a tad too short for 90 oz bottles though. I would definitely recommend these to my family and friends.

how frustrating. we were so happy to have the w/d raised up and a place to store all our products. we opened the drawer and put our container of tide pods in there - couldn't close it - about 2 inches too short. well okay that must be an exception right. then we tried the bottle of lestoil - 2 inches too short. then we tried the bottle of woolite - 2 inches too short. how is it possible the product was designed without trying out commonly purchased products first.

Knowing my washer has a rough spin cycle i *attempted* to tighten the brackets which hold the washer in place. Before the bracket even fully seated, the entire back half of the plastic mount broke off. The metal bracket that holds the washer feet onto the plastic mount is too long for its own proper use! Tightening it destroys the mount!! It is also listed as being universal, but does not fit a Maytag washer. The mounts are too close together.

It's an easy install although the washer was extremely heavy, it's a two person job for sure. Have to admit, I wanted the pedestal mostly for cosmetic reason and storage, but at the end of the day, my back thanked me. You should go for it you'll love yours as well. The washer and drier are much easier to use now that they're elevated, and towels or bigger clothing no longer drag the floor when switching into the drier. The measurements are very exact. We had 1/2in clearance between our cabinets and units based on the math and it was spot on. My only complaint is it's very pricey for a drawer and stand.

The drawer built into each one is really convenient and the height they bring the fron loading machines to is perfect. They do, however, seem to amplify some of the vibration transmitted by the machines. It would be good for Samsung to add some noise/vibration absorbent material to the interior walls of the pedestals.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have spent over 40 hours of my time trying to level my washer and dryer with these pedestals and no matter how level I get everything there is still some wobble during more intense spin cycles. The way you access the levelers is extremely inconvenient and really inaccessible for any practical spot they would be placed in. Even after moving entire permanent sections to gain the access I needed the items still wobble to some degree. I will never, ever, EVER, buy a washer with pedestals again unless they have self leveling capabilities, as no one should have to spend the amount of time, blood, and anger I did trying to get these items level. I really hate these things with the highest extent possible that can be had for hating an inanimate object. I will be happy when the washing machine goes and I can take a hammer to them because they are the worst inventions in the entire world.

like other reviewers, the pedestal works great to lift the washer/dryer up off the ground. however it is 1-2" too short to be useful. i have to lay bottles of detergent/softner/bleach down to get them to fit. now a detergent bottle has leaked all over and under the pedestal. i can't get the drawer to come out to clean it up!

it's great to have the extra height and cabinet space but i'm not sure where samsung got the numbers from. it's not tall enough for the major detergents you buy from the supermarket. if they got that right then the price tag is worth it. it costs way too much for what it doesn't do.
