I've been shopping around for new thumb sticks for a few months. All of mine are old, slow, and low capacity. Enter: THIS! First off, let me say that this memory stick is small. However, the build quality is fantastic. The exterior is metal which I wasn't expecting. Secondly, let me say that the speeds are soooooo much faster than the memory stick I've got. It performs 10x (sometimes more) than what I have. The third and final thing that makes me happy about my purchase is the warranty. I can't speak for others but knowing I've got a 5 year warranty completely solidified this deal. I am a very happy customer.

This is such a small but powerful drive and it amazed me. It transfers data at high speeds no matter what you are storing on the drive. The only thing I wish is that it had a light on it so you can see when it's working but that's a small feature. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a large capacity, fast flash drive.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a couple years ago and the flexibility of being able to use USB a or USB c makes for the perfect companion when transferring files from my phone to the computer or from my phone to a friend's phone. Nowadays a lot of flagship phones don't have the micro SD card slot and as sad as that may be the ability to still use expandable storage externally makes up for it. From taking photos and videos in the summer and transferring them out of my phone to save space to being able to upload those photos and videos quickly onto my computer this has never let me down. I've even recommended others to get this since it's no regular USB storage device. It's a leap in tech that we didn't know we wanted until it arrived!

Also don't have to worry about it falling of my keychain because the loophole is built in and the body of this usb drive is one solid piece. Only thing is that it seems to get scratched easily, besides that it seems very durable and sleek. I am used to the cheap plastic feel of other brands but the Samsung Bar Plus is solid and doesnt feel like it will break or fall apart if dropped. I like that it is also waterproof and I found out that it really is after my drink fell over on my pants. It is fast and I actually had to create a USB restore drive and I was expecting that it would take awhile but it was ready to go in under 10 minutes. Great price for what you get.

Its very small and does not have a light on it, so it may be easy to lose for some, so just be mindful of that. Other than that, i am entirely happy and love my new USB stick!

The 128gb capacity was adequate for my needs. The design is nice and the metallic shell makes it feel durable. The eyelet for a key chain is nice. The read and write speeds are fine, but not great. The drive can also get hot to the touch under some prolonged use. I've had my drive for 2 years and it is still working for my use.

The transfer speeds are listed as 300MB/s, but I suspect it was actually much faster. I did try transferring some files and I blinked and it was done! I wish everything transferred as fast. The casing is lovely and has a hefty, solid feel to it. The casing has a hole on the opposite end from the USB which would work not only as a key ring, as the specs say but may be stuck on a ball chain as a necklace. I like that it is waterproof and temperature proof, no more worries if you accidentally leave it in the car. Shockproof is also another nice feature, no worries about it breaking when it slips out of your hands. And 128 gigabytes of space is lots of room for videos, photos, files or programs. I would definitely recommend this flash drive.

I've had a 32gb flash drive that I've been carrying on my belt for the last 6-7 years and this thing has survived just about everything. welding shops and grinding metal, carpentry shops and sawdust, just getting slammed around as I bump into everything and this flash drive has only now stopped working. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently purchased a USB 3.1 flash drive from Samsung. The first thing I noticed when looking at the package was, wow this is tiny. The Flash drive is one of the smallest drives I've seen that contains 128GB. Just think about 128GB of data that can fit almost everywhere and able to access that data at just about SSD speeds. You can technically use this drive as a computer hard drive and boot from it, even install an operating system. The second thing I noticed when I received the package is the styling. It looks very premium, modern and solid. When transferring a large data file I noticed it copied over like this was an internal hard drive. Not all computers have USB 3.1 but it will work with 3.0 and 2.0 drives as well just not as fast. Overall I hope these flash drives get smaller, faster, larger, cheaper eventually you will be able to back up your entire existence into your pocket.

What i also like about this flash drive is it's simple, sleek design. It feels and looks luxury but you pay a reasonable price for its functionality and everything else is a huge bonus.
