The performance is great, amazing camera good battery life , can connect anywhere, good display

Great budget phone. Severely let down by software limitations. I purchased this phone as a secondary device. Coming from an S20 5G as my daily i have to say for the money it is a reasonably powerful and usable device. Of course the S20 is a lot faster especially when doing intensive stuff but this is more then usable. I think by far my biggest surprise was how good the 6.5" 1080P 90HZ AMOLED display is. For a device in this price range it's simply amazing. Really glad Samsung is bringing the OLED displays to their lower line of the A series lineup too. Camera is not bad. Nothing amazing but it gets the job done. Unfortunately the software limits your video recording to a maximum of 1080p at 30fps. Would've been nice to see at least 60 as the processor is more than capable of doing so but the software just limits it and doesn't allow for that. I tried to install the "Samsung sound assistant" application but the Galaxy store said that my phone was incompatible with it. I downloaded an APK and installed it that way and it worked flawlessly. Again a software limitation just because it's a budget line phone but why? The app is clearly fully compatible. It works just as well on this device as it does on my S20 and tab S9+ i really don't understand the need to say that it isn't compatible and prevent users from installing it. Finally, this phone like all the previous Samsung A series phones I've owned in the past. It lacks a screen recorder out of the box which is very important for me. I downloaded one from the play store that i had a good experience with in the past. It works well but if i try to edit the recorded video with the stock Samsung video editor it comes up with an error "cannot edit video. File not supported or corrupted" i checked the video format and it is exactly the same format as what this phone uses to record videos! The video plays just fine so obviously it's not corrupted. I am not too sure what is going on here but I'm going to guess since the picture/video editor that comes with these A series phones is a watered down "lite" version it is not allowing me to edit the video. Btw i sent the video over to my S20 and was able to edit it without any problems. I'm guessing you can probably also get around this by downloading a 3rd party video editor but i will try that later. That's really the biggest downside by far of this phone because the hardware is great and certainly very good value for the money. Yes the phone does occasionally lags a bit but it's nothing major. My model is the one with 6 gigs of RAM and that definitely helps it. I certainly suggest avoiding the base 4GB RAM version and getting the 6 if you can and if it isn't that much more expensive. Trust me it'll be worth it. Runs even more demanding games with minimal lag. Of course not flagship level gaming experience when it comes to really intensive games but it'll run 90% of the games that you'll find on the play store without any issues. For the money that is really good news. Battery life is quite good. Moderate use will last you close to 2 days so that claim is valid. I also like that they upgraded the charging speeds from 15w to 25w. I had the A31 back in 2020 with the same capacity 5000mAh battery and it takes quite a while to recharge from flat. This one is certainly much faster. I do like the fact that they kept the headphone jack and SD card slot. For me the SD card slot is mandatory (one of the biggest reasons as to why i refuse to upgrade my S20) Bring it back on the S series Samsung!! Overall I'm impressed how far these budget phones have come. This would've easily gotten a much better rating from me if Samsung and their software decided not to limit it as much for no reason. I just find that weird. So i would only recommend it if you are already coming from a budget phone or need a phone that can do all your basic tasks that is modern powerful and has a great display and good camera. Otherwise if you are coming from a premium line and thinking this might be a good device to replace that i wouldn't recommend. Possibly okay as a secondary device like in my case. I do like it just wish they didn't limit it like this!!

A budget friendly mobile, with the necessary bells and whistles, yet with a realistic price tag (no overpriced like the s- series). Works with most applications from banking to browsing, and functions as a reliable phone as well. Ideal for those who want a smart phone to use it, not to use it for show off. Samsung offers products that are generally reliable, and affordable in comparison with the competitors, yet the A series attracts my attention for the really reasonable price, without shaving so much on the essential features, nor at the design. I like Samsung products for personal, and business use.

Camera is the downfall here but battery connectivity performance is nice pretty good but display i really like the size and vibrant colour's

I have had this for 1 year and a half. It is amazing it has lots of storage and has a long battery life. Its display can get very bright and very dim. It has good performance It can play games well. The camera is spectacular It can take amazing photos. It connects to game controllers, televisions and chargers well. The best thing about it is the price and the fact it has a headphone jack. I would recommend this phone over other brands because of its low price and good features compared to the other brands budget phones. My one complaint would be that the screen scratches somewhat easily and the back is a magnet for fingerprints and dust.

I bought it during black Friday, I was told by Virgin I should have cool prices and now I have to pay for two years what I call a product of a very lucrative industry. When trying to find how to set the morning alarm I have never ever found and I come to think this is not for my generation. I have wifi at home and I don't know how to go on internet on it. Fortunately, I have a laptop. I only use my A 15 as a phone and for photos. There was not a charger with it, only a little wire, not even a booklet for instructions. I don't know how to send photos and I don't want to bore my son with questions about it. DIsappointed! PS: May be Virgin + didn't help having me satisfied after all.

Little bit slow ,the screen touch is terrible response I do not have the feeling directly , Samsung account two step verification code , ,,,,,,f,,,,I have nothing to say about ,I do not have the phone number I need to wait 2 weeks for activation my account again I do prefer Motorola ,Google pixels ,wt a basic experience Android pure It's a good phone for around price 225 a 275$ in Québec city , I do recommend it but I prefer the new Motorola stylus 2024

For the money the Galaxy A15 is an exceptional phone.
