You can use Pinch Control on Galaxy Buds4 using your index finger. First, wear the earbuds and try the following actions. Pinch once (Single pinch) to play or pause the track, answer or end a call and stop using features such as Read Notifications Aloud. Pinch twice (Double pinch) to play the next track. Pinch three times (Triple pinch) to play the previous track. Pinch and hold to turn on the preset feature or decline a call. Swipe up or down using your index finger to adjust the volume.

You can turn on SSC - UHQ option when Galaxy Buds4 Series is paired with an eligible Galaxy device. The audio is delivered in extended 24-bit bit depth and 96 kHz sampling rate. Hear Hi-Fi sound in full detail, with rich audio information.18

SSC - UHQ supports up to 24-bit / 96 kHz and is available on Galaxy smartphones such as Galaxy S26 Series, S25 Series, S24 Series, S23 Series, Z Fold7, Z Flip7, Z Fold6, Z Flip6, Z Fold5 and Z Flip5. It's also available on Galaxy Tab S11 Series, Tab S10 Series and Tab S9 Series with One UI 6.1.1 or above. More devices may be supported in the future.19

Galaxy Buds4 Series isolates your voice input through an advanced Deep Neural Network (DNN) technology. The conversation between the caller and receiver is delivered through Super Wideband (SWB) up to 16 kHz, making the call crystal clear.20

Just open the Charging Case and you’re all set to connect Galaxy Buds4 to your Galaxy device. The earbuds automatically start pairing and a popup screen will appear on the Galaxy device. Tap Connect and the pairing is complete.21

You can control Galaxy Buds4 based on the version of One UI on your Galaxy device. On Galaxy devices running on One UI 8.0 or later, certain features can be controlled from the Quick Panel or you can manage Galaxy Buds4 in more detail from your phone's device settings without downloading any additional apps. For Galaxy devices running on earlier versions of One UI, configurations can be found in the Galaxy Wearable app.22

Your speech is delivered to Samsung Galaxy smartphone to be interpreted and played through its speakers. The opponent's speech is delivered to Samsung Galaxy smartphone to be interpreted but will be played through Galaxy Buds4 Series. Keep your earbuds on, even when you're talking with a person that speaks in another language.23

Auto Switch uses Bluetooth to automatically deliver the audio source between the devices. The feature allows you to take incoming calls while you're working on a creative project on your Galaxy Tab or Galaxy Book. Once the call is over, you can go right back to your project effortlessly.24

I got these buds 5 days ago. I got the regular one without the rubber tips. I love the open ear comfort of the buds, they don't fall out even when chewing or running. Connectivity is pretty quick and call quality is crisp.

Honestly, Samsung is true to their word when they say all day comfort, because I popped these in my ears in the morning and absolutely did not feel them in my ears. They were so comfortable that I even forgot they were in my ears. The transparency is amazing, as I can hear people as if I do not have anything obstructing my hearing. And noise cancelling? Wow. I really did immerse myself in some amazing and reliable sound. Not a single sound from the outside world, just me and my content. Overall, very much worth it. They have amazing sound, fit and noise cancelling. And connection wise, they seamlessly swap between devices.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought these as part of a Samsung Partner deal. I was excited given some of the reviews I had, and the product design is quite elegant. Unfortunately, the actual sound quality is not that great. I have an S24 Ultra and have found the phone call quality to be quite harsh and painful on my ears. I tried adjusting the equalizer but couldn't eliminate the issues completely. It's the same with Team calls. Sound quality on Youtube and other streaming media is good but not amazing. Also found the volume controls a little fiddly and the quality of the switch on the pods doesn't' feel great. I will be staying with my Soundpeats 4 which are a quarter of the price and have more features.

I’ve been using the new Galaxy Buds4, and it’s definitely an upgrade from the Buds3. The active noise canceling (ANC) is noticeably more effective, and the sound quality has become much richer and clearer. Most importantly, the fit is incredibly comfortable—I can wear them all day without any issues. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a solid upgrade!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had the Buds 3 pro. They got returned because they just didn't sit well. Buds 4 pro are very comfortable. Stock tips which are the same as the tips on the 3 pros suddenly feel right. I put them in, did the fit test and made no needed adjustments for over 2 hours while working in the kitchen. Head gestures to answer or decline a call is nice. The AI on these is useful. Translation in real time, communication with your assistant. I am 60, these are not features that I would have imagined using let alone reviewing but technology is finally becoming useful! The sound you get from these buts is next level. I am hearing details in my music that I hadn't heard thru other ear buds. I highly recommend.

But what really prompted me to write this review is that it isn't just my opinion. Literally everyone I’ve let try these earbuds has had their jaw drop. I’ve been using the Galaxy S26 and Buds4 for a while now, and I’m really impressed! The phone is super fast, the camera quality is amazing, and the battery easily lasts all day. The display is bright and smooth, which makes watching videos and playing games very enjoyable. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Upgraded from the old galaxy buds 2 which you had to twist into your ear and it created a really nice seal for noise cancellation. These ones however dont have as nice of a noise cancellation but I knew that picking these ones. It lets in a nice amount of noise to be aware of your surroundings and the music still sounds good. They do hurt my ears when I wear them for longer than 2 hours, not sure if they require an adjusting period or they just don't fit my ears as well as they should. I do have to fiddle a bit to get them in the correct place and sometimes they do feel like they are going to fall out of my ears. The controls are also annoying as the press feature is not as responsive as I would like it to be.

Dogwater, It's been 2 weeks, started off great, ANC stopped working as good. Sound got worst as they became inconsistent between both ears. They will be returned, this is not what you would expect at a premium price.

When the earbuds work, they have great sound and really handy features, like how the audio stops when the earbud is pulled away from the ear. But all of that is ruined by the fact the earbuds won't stay in my ear. They won't go into my ear as directed by their own instruction and simply setting in my ear constantly leads to them slipping or falling out. I don't think it's escaped anyone's notice that the pricier version of this model is the only one with adjustable earbuds, so people are expected to shill out more money just to wear them. It's a shame.

The sound is clean as, bass hits hard without sounding muddy and the noise cancelling actually surprised me. Biggest thing for me is how fast they connect and swap between apps/devices. I can go from music to YouTube to calls instantly without them bugging out. Touch controls are responsive too, not one of those earbuds where you gotta tap it 14 times like an idiot 😂 Battery life been solid and they fit way better than I expected, even after wearing them for ages. Mic quality is decent too, people can actually hear me properly outside. Overall if you got a Samsung phone especially, these are 100% worth it. Fast, smooth, sound mint and just work properly.

With Galaxy Ai, I use the noise cancelation all the time to only hear what I want to hear. I use it all the time to focus on what I'm doing, whether that be gaming, or exercising, being able to tune out all that background noise helps make everything I do more enjoyable. That along with the multiple more hidden settings like higher quality audio, nod or shake your head to answer or decline calls and the feature that let's you know if your head has been bent for too long are some of the best and more helpful features, I would have never expected to be in a pair of earbuds. I am currently loving them especially with the different sizes of rubber I got so it fits my ear perfectly. Definitely recommend these.

These are the worst Samsung Buds I've had - these are my fourth set. Compared to previous versions: - The build quality is poor. They *feel* cheap. - They are very light weight, and therefore have a real tendency to fall out of ears - Even with the lightness, I think the design would allow for falling out of ears consistently - Previous versions have a touch/tap pad, allowing for single finger control. Now, with a click, you require at least two fingers to control the click action. It is a HUGE backward step. - Bluetooth range seems shorter. Previous generations allowed me to walk further away from the mobile. I now need to take my phone with me if I am moving to another room, even if only briefly. Sound quality is very good. Would not recommend. I regret buying them.

So I opted to try the buds 4 and not the pro version and I absolutely love them. The ANC is astonishing since these aren't a "sealed fit" like the bud tips for the pro version. These honestly sound phenomenal and better than the buds 3 pro. And those are supposed to still be a high contender against the buds 4. I highly recommend these. Plain and simple

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have had for a week now , flattened ear buds to about 50% returned them to there case and left for a day or 2 till I needed them again and they didn't recharge , were still at 50% when I removed them very disappointed as if it was when I needed them for my 5 hour flight to work they won't make it . And there's no app control for them it's in the settings menu now like really guys is it not a wearable another very disapponting feature, makes it's hard to disconnect them from one device to another

For example, when swiping to adjust the volume on the Buds4, it feels like it'll fall off your ear. The Buds3, pressed into your ear so you wouldn't have any fear of it falling off. The Buds4's battery life seem to be shorter than the Buds3. They're always dying on me. Overall, I give the Buds4 a 6/10. I haven't used it for anything Galaxy AI related yet. Samsung still makes great products, though.

Awesome work Samsung team very happy you guys went back to your roots this year, however for your next pair of buds please add a speaker on the case so we can locate the case as well as the buds if they get lost!

These feel so much more natural and I can wear them for hours without any discomfort. The sound quality is surprisingly rich for an open-fit design. However, I’d love to see a software update that allows for true multipoint pairing with two devices at once (like my phone and PC). If Samsung adds that, these would be the perfect 10/10 earbuds for me!

As soon as I put them on they connected to my phone, and I mean immediately. I didn't have to search for the device and allow to connect and hold buttons etc. It was a quick and easy connection. Battery Life is great as well. Each bud lasted over 3hrs that includes playing music, phone calls, podcasts. (I wear one at time during my 10hr shift) Sounds is great of course, that's nothing new. I deliver in a loud truck and even with one bud in it canceled out a lot of noise. I am excited to use the GALAXY AI feature for translating! Definitely will come in handy with my husband and his family. Now all I need is to make enough money to get the Galaxy 26Ultra. I'm still using the Note20 Ultra+ phone... can't live without an SD Card.

I really loved the buds when I first try them on, and was blown away by the base and robust sound. But after wearing then at work the following day, I realized they don't stay in place. They keep shifting around making the buds to lose volume. I would reposition them but then again after a few minutes they would shift again and felt like they were ready to fall out. I didn't have this problem with the buds 3 so it's very unfortunate that I may end up returning them.

I tested these buds whilst vacuuming the floor and the person on the other end could hear me clearly. Only issue is the supplied tips which just don't sit well in the ear and no matter which size I try the buds eventually fall out over time. Would be happy to pay for an option for foam tips which I will now need to do from a 3rd party to get these to stay in

The case design makes it awkward to open, especially in the dark. It should have indentation/ indicators on the sides that your fingers can identify so when the case is in you hand you would know exactly how to orient it so you can open it without always having to spin it around due to the location of the hinge. Also the cause is way too thick. Its very noticeable when in your pocket. The previous cause was a much better size.

I have had the buds 2 pro and the buds 3 pro and I never experienced noise cancelling even remotely close to what other people described as ANC. As soon as I put the buds 4 pro in my ears I experienced something that I had no had before. I was totally alone, enjoying my music with no other noises around me. This is in a loud gym environment but the buds 4 pro just blocked every other noise out. Amazing!

***Poor Quality and Bad Engineer Design*** I've been using these buds now for 3 months and one of the speakers is blown I believe since it sounds all distorted. Also these buds won't stay in my ear if I'm too active... So don't plan on using these buds when you work out in the gym, go for a bike ride, hike, walk lol ETC. Sometimes I play Monopoly while listening to music on my buds. I also use them to watch soccer videos on YouTube and movies. I use them while eating, and when talking to family in other countries. They let me listen to music while I work. I like them because I can activate Bixby to make calls or play music.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first foray into getting Samsung earbuds despite being a Galaxy user for more than a decade. The earbuds perform well but keep falling. This is a problem I didn't have with the previous earbuds of a different brand. Part of the problem is that the rubber/plastic covering doesn't sit well in the ear cavity. It is such a hassle, especially during running and exercise or when I have to be on the move.

All my smartphones have been in the Galaxy family, starting with the Galaxy S3, my TV is a Samsung, and have owned two previous versions of the Galaxy Buds (which I loved). I love how my new Galaxy Buds 4 connect seamlessly my phone and TV, and how flawlessly the Galaxy AI features are integrated and work with the Buds. I love everything about them, except for how they fit. I've followed every step in the proper fitting instructions, rotated them every which way in my ear, and no matter what I do, they will not fit snuggly and secure in my ears. This is the first pair of ear buds that I've owned that I have to constantly push the buds back into my ear because they keep sliding out. I'm a little disappointed Samsung, and considering how much they cost, I would not have thought the darn things wouldn't fit snug and stay in place while wearing them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently bought these as I had lost my BudsPro3 whilst travelling, I decided to get the cheaper pair rather than Pro4 to see the difference. In terms of sound quality, I noticed it marginally better but noise blocking or cancellation was worse compared to the BudsPro3. The newer model looks slightly more sleek, but for what you pay and the difference in casing, i think its overrated and not worth it.

The sound quality is very clear and balanced, whether I’m listening to music, podcasts, or taking calls. As a nurse practitioner, I’m often moving throughout the day and need earbuds that are comfortable and reliable. The Galaxy Buds4 fit securely and remain comfortable even during long periods of use. Call quality has been excellent, which makes it easy to communicate clearly during calls without background noise getting in the way. Battery life has also been great and the charging case makes it very convenient to keep them powered throughout the day. Pairing with my Samsung phone was instant and the connection has been very stable. Overall, the Galaxy Buds4 deliver great sound, comfort, and reliability. The place to swipe up and down for volume control has been moved to the front of the buds instead of the back on the old model which is a little more awkward to use for me. Other than that I have no issues with the new model. A great upgrade overall.

I've chosen to turn off all of the touch features for now as it's a little difficult getting them to stay in place when I'm out walking but it's just a case of need getting the right size of the three buds supplied. Would definitely recommend, the quality is second to none.

I’ve recently upgraded from the Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 to the Samsung Galaxy Buds 4, and the difference in sound quality is immediately noticeable. The audio feels richer and more immersive, making music and calls much clearer. They also fit very comfortably, even after extended use, which is a big plus. Overall, a great upgrade and definitely worth it.
