Alarm set for 6 AM on the Samsung Galaxy phone with a person waking up in the background.

The Clock app on your Galaxy phone or tablet helps you stay on track during your busiest days. It shows the current time and weather at a glance and makes it easy to manage your alarms, especially those all-important morning wake-ups. You can also set a sleep schedule to support healthier bedtime habits.

Note: Information provided applies to Samsung Galaxy phones and tablets sold in Canada. Available screens and settings may vary by model or for devices sold in other countries.

You can quickly set an alarm to help you wake up on time or stay on schedule. Just pick a time and the day, and you're all set.

Note:

  • The steps in this section were simplified to help you get started quickly. More customization options are available and we’ll cover them in the next sections.
  • You can create a different alarm for each day of the week to match your routine. This should cover most schedules. If your wake-up time changes frequently, consider using an AI assistant (like Bixby or Gemini) to set alarms using a quick voice command (like “Hey Bixby, set an alarm for 8 a.m. tomorrow”) instead of creating them manually each day.

If you need an alarm for a one-time event like an appointment or early flight, you can set it to go off on a specific day only.
