Galaxy Tab S4 - Keyboard Settings (SM-T830)
One keyboard does not fit all. Everyone has their own preferences for when they're typing out important documents or even just sending a message to a friend. The Samsung keyboard on your tablet comes with different customization features and settings, so you can make it work for you. Huh, maybe one keyboard can fit all.
Note: Screens and settings available may vary depending on your Canadian wireless service provider and your software version.
Samsung keyboard is the default on-screen keyboard for your tablet. It gives you everything you need to type out an email or send a funny text to a friend. And it can be customized to make it even more useful and convenient.
To customize the Samsung keyboard, navigate to Settings. Search for and select Language and input. Touch On-screen keyboard, and then touch Samsung Keyboard. Customize the available settings the way you want it.
If you're multilingual or learning a new language, you can use more than one language for your on-screen keyboard. But first, you'll need to add the other languages you want to use.
From Settings, search for and select Language and input. Touch On-screen keyboard, and then touch Samsung Keyboard. Touch Languages and types, and then touch MANAGE INPUT LANGUAGES. Select or download from the available languages for Samsung keyboard.
To switch the keyboard's input language, open an app that uses the keyboard. Then, swipe the spacebar left or right to switch the language input.
Google voice lets you type words using only your voice! It's super helpful, especially if your hands are full. It's enabled by default and is built into your Samsung keyboard.
To use it, open an app that uses the keyboard. Then, touch the Microphone icon and say what you want to type.
If you want to customize Google voice typing, navigate to Settings. Search for and select Language and input. Touch On-screen keyboard, and then touch Google voice typing. Customize available settings the way you want it.
