How to find the serial number or model code of your Samsung TV
The serial number is a unique number assigned by the manufacturer (like Samsung) to help identify an individual device. For example, your TV’s serial number will be different from every other TV Samsung has made. On the other hand, the model code for your TV is not unique. It tells the manufacturer where the device was produced, what year, etc. You can find serial number and model code via the menu on your TV, or check the label located on the back panel of your TV.
Note: The provided information refers to Samsung Smart TVs sold in Canada. The available settings and options may differ for devices sold in other countries.
Note: On some TVs you may need to select Contact Samsung instead of About This TV.
The model code and serial number can also be found located on a label on the back panel of your TV:
Note: We recommend that you take a picture of the label before mounting a TV on a wall.
