Use Air Fry mode on your Samsung oven

The Air Fry feature on your Samsung oven is ideal for cooking your favorite crispy foods like French fries, chicken wings, and breaded vegetables. You can cook fresh or frozen foods with Air Fry while using less oil than normal methods (or no oil at all), which makes it a healthier alternative to regular deep frying. The Air Fry tray is designed specifically for this feature and should be used whenever you need to make a fresh batch of something delicious.

Note: Visit our shop to see our selections of ovens with Air Fry mode.

Use Air Fry mode

If your oven is capable of using Air Fry mode, you'll need an Air Fry tray (which you can purchase from our site if your model didn't come with it), and a baking sheet or tray to prevent fats or juices from dripping to the bottom of the oven.

Note: These steps cover one type of panel. If your model has a different panel, see your user manual for instructions specific to your model.

  1. Place the Air Fry tray on Rack Position 3, which is the third rack position from the bottom.
Note: For models with twin cooking, Single oven mode is required for Air Fry mode.

  2. Place a baking sheet or tray on the rack below the Air Fry tray to catch any drippings. (This will help reduce splatter and smoke.) Adding some water to the baking sheet will also help reduce smoking.

  3. Select Air Fry mode using the dial knob. Preheating your oven is not necessary when using Air Fry.

  4. You can change the temperature using the dial knob. The default temperature is 425°F; you can set it between 350°F and 500°F when using Air Fry. If you’re unsure which temperature to use for the type of food you're cooking, you can refer to the Air Fry cooking guide in your user manual for additional guidance.

  5. You can set Delay Start to make the oven start at a specified time, or set Cook Time to make the oven stop at a specified time. If desired, you can use both settings! Push the knob to set them.

Note: You can skip this step if you do not wish to use Delay Start or Cook Time.

  6. When you're ready, tap START or push the knob to begin cooking with Air Fry mode.

  7. When cooking is complete, tap OFF and take out your food.

Clean the Air Fry tray

Caution: Remove the Air Fry tray before starting a Self Clean cycle on your oven. The extreme heat will damage the tray and may permanently peel off the coating.

You can purchase an Air Fry tray from our website if you need a new one or if your oven did not come with one.

After each use, you can easily wash the Air Fry tray with lukewarm, soapy water. Allow the tray to soak in the water for as long as needed, and then use a plastic scouring pad to rub off any excess oil or debris.

If you're on a cleaning spree and want to clean the rest of the oven as well, check out our guide for tips.
