I bought this dishwasher at a Dions store in 2018. Initially, I really liked the way it looked, it ran silently and washed the dishes relatively clean. However, after the first year, the electronic board (situated behind the LED display) broke. Fortunately, it was still under warranty, and Samsung replaced the part. Now, here I am another year and a half later, and it does the exact same thing again (Now no longer under warranty). Broken twice in three years! I considered that I was doing something wrong...However, a relative also has the exact same model, for which the exact same part broke when the machine was less than a year old. I am really disappointed in the quality of this product and would really not recommend purchasing this dishwasher.

We have this machine for 6 months. It stopped washing properly 2 weeks into use. The guy used a hairdryer to dry some mother board and needless to say it continues to give problems. Doesn't dry, Doesn't wash properly, salt indicator doesn't work when there's no salt. Worst piece of junk! Do yourself a favour, go with another brand. When i had issues with my bosch dishwasher, they gave me a replacement unit and after sales service was amazing. We wanted a change to try another brand so chose samsung. It will only be useful in a scrap yard. Please, don't waste your money

My Samsung dishwasher stopped working just after the warranty expired (october 2020 - 2 years and 2 months) whats worse is that I only really used it for a year (bought in october 2018 at Makro) but I moved house so had it in storage all of 2018 and 2019 - called Samsung for quote to repair and the cost of the part alone is R2k excluding the call out fee and labour costs - just not worth it to repair. All in the repair will cost 3k and I paid just over 6k for it in 2018 Dont waste your money.

I bought our Samsung Dishwasher in 2017. Since then the control panel has failed twice. But was is most frustrating is that it simply does not clean dishes properly. My mother inlaw has a LG dishwasher and packs twice as many dishes as I do into ours, yet hers gets the dishes perfectly clean. We use the same product in terms of dishwashing tablets. I will never buy a Samsung Dishwasher again, nor would I recommend them to anyone.

We have had this dishwasher for 2 weeks. Could not understand why cutlery was never clean after washing - that’s because if you pack anything in the shelf below, the water does not get to cutlery. Also wondered why it generally wasn’t cleaning well . I have now worked out that a standard dinner plate on the bottom shelf stops the spinning of the water jet arm - not enough room between the top of the dinner plate and the arm. Absolutely would not recommend this product at all! It is badly designed and does not deserve the one star rating! Very poor dishwasher !

My machine is not even 3 years old and the same part has gone 3 times. Twice repaired by Samsung in warranty. The second time I asked for a replacement telling them that the same part has been replaced they said no. Asked them what happens if the next time the same part goes and it's out of warranty...no response. And as predicted part has once again gone and machine is not even 3 years old. The problem I am having seems to be a common problem with this machine. The water inlet with a 4c error. And Samsung don't care. I have all my paperwork should they ever care to follow up BUT they don't care which is what I told them on my last call. I am now dumping this piece of scrap machine and replacing it with another brand. Why bother repairing something that is just going to break again. SAMSUNG will never feature in my household again. SAMSUNG has lost a loyal fan to HI Sense. Have had no problems with Thier products.

The worst dishwasher I have ever used. It does not clean the dishes because – just as many other reviewers have pointed out – there is not enough space between the plates and the water jets for them to spin and function properly. The cutlery tray is awkward to use, and most of the plastic separators are broken due to being flimsy and of poor quality. Loading cutlery one piece at a time is also a frustrating task. Honestly, I despise this machine, and I have also experienced issues with their washing machines. Samsung’s customer support in South Africa is dreadful. I have been replacing all my Samsung appliances one by one with Siemens appliances instead – no problems and excellent local support.

I bought this dishwasher 2 years ago and not once has this thing washed the dishes properly! What a waste of money! I have to literally hand wash all my dishes and then put it in the machine and what is the benefit of having this machine if i have to handwash everything.? Do not buy this machine, it is a total waste of money.

I recently purchased this machine and the middle rack right side adjustment clip does not keep the rack in place causing it to drop during the cycle. The upper spray arm makes contact with the plates on the bottom shelf and does not rotate. The clip is made out of cheap plastic and is not durable.
