Ive been an iPhone user most of my life. But anyone that knows Apple, know their desktop software sucks. Finally had enough after "unspecified errors" syncing. Bought this on 15th June 2020 and I was wary of setting up and using a new OS. However, this phone buts my iPhone 11 pro in the shade! easy to use, a cinch to transfer data, screen response is brilliant and the downloads? I would have to wait hours for an iPhone upgrade but this, zip-zap, its done! I am SOOO happy I switched. Photos are crisp, music is dynamite. Recommend to those who want a simple, snazzy, reliable phone.

Good response, battery life & bright screen. Calls are clear in all conditions. Great to have 5G in this mid-range phone. Security & support are paramount to me. Android support was woeful before but Android manafacturers are finally coming to the table, realising people hold on to their phones longer and some are now offering at least 5 years of updates. Not only that, but Samsung offer 4 years of Android OS upgrades on this phone, as far as I know, the only manafacturer to do so on their phones (note, each phone/model can vary, so you should check). This reason alone along with the 5 years of support is why I chose Samsung for the first time.

I just love the clarity of photos, and the options for cropping those far away shots. I'm not using all the accessories but including some as I learn (me being in my 70's) more about it's features. Love the use of the calendar for all those medical appointments. My favourite is the Health App, more than I could hope for when talking to my GP or Specialist.

This is my 3rd Galaxy Samsung phone and I'm a fan for life, I'd never swap to any other brand. I bought the A33 for a good price so I didnt expect the quality to be as high as previous more expensive models I have owned, but it was! It's a nice compact size (not too big and not to small) and fits nicely in my back pocket. I haven't had any issues with it at all, no freezing or slow apps, no overheating, I actually have nothing negative to say about it.

Ah, you can't start charging your new phone's battery until yougo back to the shop and buy that essential medium between the phone cord and the power point. Then you find that you can't plug it into your PC either; you need some sort of converter for that because the phone cord ends (both of them) are nothing like the USB port on your computer. So that bargain you got ends up costing you maybe another $100. What a crock.

I bought this as a gift for a not so techie relative in his 50s. Following the on screen instructions, he was able to successfully set up the mobile on his own. He enjoys taking clear and colorful pictures, as well as watching videos in Youtube with the volume almost in full. He is now calling his cousins and friends in the province daily as his video call resolution and signal is clear. With Galaxy A33, entertainment is both digital and a reality.

After a few days Galaxy let me know that all my data was stored and retrievable. Then a couple of days later Galaxy also let me know that my photos had been stored in Google Photos. I thought I had lost them. Then I discovered that my Google Calendar app entries were now visible on my Google Calendar Web page on my iMac, something I had not been able to do on my Galaxy A50. Very Happy.

Purchased this in March 2023. Repaired in October 2023 for freezing, faulty touch screen and faulty loud speaker. Sent off again October 2024 for loud speaker is broken again, lag and freezing. Samsung have been a nightmare to deal with. Refused to refund. Repair only again! Keep saying the A range is basic but phone was RRP $599! Why does basic mean faulty?? Unusuable phone. They think these issues are "minor" I say major as its twice now and makes phone unusable. DO NOT get this phone, Will never buy from Samsung again.

Worst phone l have ever owned. Samsung switch hardly moved anything. Screen can't work out weather to tap a app once or twice.l feel like using it as a Frisbee. Camera works well and the screen is good quality. But the phone drives me nuts. My $200 Sony xpirea is so much user friendly.l will go back to Sony

Decided to get a new one after my old samsung phone is nearly outdated. The camera features are excellent and able to come out with wide angle and high quality photos. Also to mention it's battery performance where I can now charge it at least after nearly 2 days on average.

I purchased this phone three and a half months ago and have had problems with the telephone the whole time. I spent a long time on the phone with Samsung Support to be told to take the phone to a Samsung centre and that if required I would be given a replacement phone while the phone was being repaired. Samsung centres are far from where I live and I was unable to go to one until a month later when I made the 112 km trip to Parramatta. The phone had to be sent to Granville and I was not given a replacement phone. When it was returned it still has the same problem! From what I can see from the paperwork, everything was tested but the phone line! I desperately need a phone, and now I have to go through the whole process again for this faulty phone. The whole process has been a severe inconvenience.

I'm really impressed with this mid-range phone. The first thing that caught my eye was the affordable price point, after using it for a week, I can confidently say that it's worth every penny. The design is sleek and modern, and it feels comfortable in my hand. The screen is bright and clear, and I've enjoyed streaming videos and browsing the web on it. I bought the Samsung Galaxy A33 5G around 2 maybe 3 months ago and it was an amazing purchase. The camera quality is absolutly amazing I can take photos of things from ages away it it is in great detail. The editing options on the photos are great as well. The phone also works absolutely amazing even if you happen to have a full storage it doesn't slow down the capabilities of the phone. All in all this phone was the best purchase I have made in a while.

Purchased mid-March 2023, as an upgrade to my 6yr old Samsung J5 (which did still work OK, just getting on) - Instantly happy with my purchase, HUGE Screen, crystal clear images, super fast processing - easy to use. The battery life is fantastic too..I am missing the physical button at the bottom of the phone (that wakes the phone) , but I'm sure in time I will get use to it. All the features of a more expensive phone, at a very reasonable price.

I got the phone as a reliable device that would last. The promised 5 years of software updates and the Protect Battery feature makes me optimistic in this aspect. Basically competent in speed, camera quality and software features although it experiences lag occasionally. Physical design and features are fine, with a great OLED screen for the price. Battery life is great as well and I basically do not have to worry about it.

I have had this phone for about 4 months now and it has been perfect for my needs. I was using a Samsung 7 before this, which was also great, but the A33 has been a good step up. I looked at video reviews of the A series phones before buying, and the A33 was recommeded out of the pack. Dropped my old Samsung and didn't have the screen protector on so it smashed and I needed a new phone asap. Within just over an hour, I had my new Samsung A33 5g, all my data, passwords, photos, apps etc up and running on my new phone. It has heaps more memory, much better camera and heaps faster than my old phone, which was a great phone. I swear by Samsung, so easy to use and great prices and choice

I had an 'Apple' after I had an android and went back to android and regret I did. I wish I had got another 'Apple' as they are much easier to navigate. I have been back to the Telstra shop twice now to ask the most basic questions as the icons are meaningless and difficult to understand. I have had mobile phones since thet first came on the market so I'm not a novice. Android have 'lost their way'

Very impressed with this phone. Has NFC, fast processors, super fast charge, camera is 48mp (not bad). Speakers are amazing, like wow. No aux jack but that's OK. There are ways around that. This is my keeper phone now until it dies. Please note, doesn't come with a fast charger...can use either 20w or 30w for super fast charge c to c lightening cable

I just bought the phone recently. Upgraded from an A30. The phone is so simple to set up and use. Transferring settings and data via smart switch made simple. A lot of the new features are pretty cool too. Getting used to the camera and it's use and settings is a little awkward but relatively simple. All up a good upgrade.

When purchasing phone should of been told that phone does not come with charger. Phone only comes with type C USB cord. Had to go out a second time to purchase a type C USB charger. Most people only have normal USB charging outlets. Charger should be supplied with phone as most other brands come with chargers.

I bought this phone initially because I've become dissatisfied with the latest Apple IPhones that have been released. This phone has loads of storage, and I was also pleasantly surprisef by the A33's impressive battery life,. The phone is surprisingly fast, whether you're waiting to download an app, or an system update, the phone is a pleasure to use. The design is reminiscent of an earlier model of phone, simply because it feels fairly solid in your hands. Ive dropped this phone twice, and so far, so good. It's still undamaged, which speaks to the strength of the materials Samsung uses when building their phones. Ease of use, was a surprise, as I've owned an iPhone for years, prior to purchasing the Samsung A33 phone. Just the savings I made after deciding to buy this phone, had me in a spin about whether my choice had been a wise one, until it arrived. I'd recommend it to anyone who's disillusioned with the other top brands offerings of late. You won't be disappointed.

My A33 is a good size phone, not to large. Simple to use with clear and easy to understand operating system. Great functions with good size internal storage. Takes great crisp photos and I love the Macro function. Could have been a bit better at low light video though.

My Samsung s9+ was a way better phone. Had many issues with this phone freezing, whether from lock screen or whilst using it. Have to restart phone each time. Also had many issues with the phone pocket dialing Emergency services. Would NOT recommend.

I needed a new phone after breaking my A20. I loved that phone but the camera was not great. This new A53 is a gorgeous colour ( silvery blue) and the extra camera features are a relief. Night shots are clear and zooming is much better.
