the phone is garbage DO NOT BUY YOU ARE WARNED! there is no support in issues only excuses. l had no issues at all until the new samsung phone was released. if you can afford 2k and over every year for a new phone then your fine. but if you can't do not buy. they turn your speakers off during calls among other things bur only once new phone is released funny that. no fix, they lead you up the garden path with so called fixes then blame your carrier that of which lve had for over 7yrs without issues with any phone, they are horrible to deal with trgarding issues, seriously l can't say what l think or this won't be printed. you. features do not work, you have been warned.

The mobile phones do not come any better than this. Top screen, top case, fingerprint sensor etc, not to mention the cameras! Yes, the cameras are photographer's dream come true.
In fact, I would be hard pressed to find any shortcomings with the hardware.
But while the software is a good implementation of the Android platform, there is some bloatware and duplication of basic Android apps. Most users only need one clock, calendar, browser or messager. If you prefer a different version of these, you still can't delete the default Samsung apps. Many other manufacturers do the same, but this is no excuse.
Samsung, don't be so insecure!

The phone is pretty good, does have the pen which is handy and is pretty quick. What is not good is the bluetooth - pretty much has been intermittent from day one. Frequently disconnects and does not allow you to connect to a paired device. I have had to reset network settings multiple times with mixed results. The casting function to a chromecast device also is extremely intermittent. Sometimes it works, sometimes it does not with the eternal whirlybird on the screen you are trying to cast to. Would I recommend it? Probably not. If your current device works ok then I would wait until better models become available

I've only had this phone 3 days, and I love it. It's easy to use. My favourite part about this phone is the large screen. I watch a lot of streaming services on my phone, and the quality of the picture is amazing. The camera takes fantastic photos and the camera has so many features. The only thing I miss is the earphone plug- in port. I don't like using wireless earphones as my battery is always running low, and I like the freedom of being able to charge my phone and use plug-in earphones at the same time but other than that I've always had a SAMSUNG mobile it's made for my brain. It's familiar and comfortable for me to use and understand.

Throughout my life I have had a range of phones. From the brick Nokia to the early Samsung Galaxies, to iphones and then to the Samsung notes. After my first Samsung note I fell in love with them and their features. The Galaxy S22 Ultra is the love child of Samsung Galaxy and Samsung Notes. It brings all the features I love from my note like the s pen, curved screen, bigger screen and side panel and has turned it into a very user friendly, jam packed full of functions phone. It's very customisable to your individual needs. If you've loved previous versions of notes, or even galaxies you should love this phone. Oh and the camera is insanely good!

i love the screen, feels like having a 4k tv in your pocket. Only issue i got is games would crash for some reason even the non-demanding games. Hopefully will be fixed. Minor issue with camera, is the white balance in the Pro Video Mode, when set to AUTO it fantastically sets the right white balance but would like a feature to lock it when the AI sets the right balance. Instead everytime I tap to manual, it would reset every time. I would like to lock the white balance after the phone sets it for me. I dunno if i made sense but the feature would be Much like the Filmic Pro app. Other than that, this phone is a beast and highly recommend.

I bought this a week ago to upgrade from my note 10 plus and so far the experience has been the best ever. The convenience and multi use of the spen when signing documents and editing pdfs is unmatched, coupled with the air actions makes this the best phone on the market. It has everything you need and is powerful enough to handle a lot of stuff you'd need a computer for. The camera is also fun to use and play around with. The lack of an sd card slot is the only miss especially for just the peace of mind knowing additional storage is there if ever needed. All in all its an awesome phone packed full of features that's so much fun to use.

I previously had the s21 5G model, which started off great but along the way I had a fair few issues such as glitching, draining of battery, and just overall slow. I decided to upgrade to the s22 ultra, giving samsung another chance but also to see if it really has lived up to the hype. Honestly, it has been a far better experience with the s22 ultra compared to my standard s21 which I'm super relieved about. I can go 2 days without charging my phone with regular usage and the photos are just incredible, among other great features such as a nice look, a nice screen and of course, the S pen. I'm impressed!

Big fan of samsung, I've been using samsung for last 6 years( samsung galaxy s7 to samsung note 20 ultra), got very excited about new model the great s22 ultra but its been a disappointment. Happy with features and extra camera fitted but...
1. It laggs while operating and hung up for no reason and restart.
2. Could not open apps like crypto even Chrome sometimes.
3. Overheating problem.

Got my brand new s22 ultra maybe a month ago and i absolutely loved it until last week when it randomly crashed and went into a boot loop, took it to my local phone repair place and they managed to get it out of the loop but he phone had factory reset so I set it up again and it ran for less then 24 hours froze then went into another boot loop did 3 cycles and went black, I spoke to Samsung online and their first response was someone from it will ring you in a couple of days… umm I DONT HAVE A PHONE NOW!!! so now it has been sent away for repair, I’ve been a Samsung user since the s5 and never had an issue until now. It’s a lot of money for a months use

Just recived my new s22 ultra 1tb yesterday spent hours having to update all passwords and setup the phone should have just all migrated but no not yhe case .
So go to my car this morning could not connect to Bluetooth or my Galaxy wearable.
So heres the thing 2.5k spent on a phone thats got no Blue tooth or connections.
Spent another three hours on the phone to Samsung every time they asked to reset got cut off and had to go through the whole thing again and again the worst experience I've ever had with a phone .
This piece of rubbish should be replaced immediately but all I got was we will send your phone logs to a tech and get back to me .
If I could give -5 stars I would im extremely peeved and very un happy.

"Upgraded" from the S10 as the charging port stopped working and I wish I still had the S10. The S22's battery does not last as long even after the the adaptive setting should have kicked in. I miss having the ability to check my pluse and oxy reading(COVID life you know). Feels heavier and clunkier. Same as the S10, the Samsung's keyboard is a pain. Also it's a shame Samsung has removed the ability to add extra memory with an SD card. I found the photos took a second to take, not sure if that could changed in settings. Good visuals to watch movies though!

I got this phone a couple of weeks ago because of a large sale (totally worth it). The phone has amazing features especially with its expert raw app that allows a photography lover like me to be versatile. Love the 108mp rear camera btw. Only downside to this phone would be the awkward box shape and 8gb of ram on the 128 gb model. But overall I love how I can link everything to my Google account which makes this phone easier to use than others. Lastly, this phone has the best display I’ve ever used and the battery life is better than others give credit for. I could keep rambling on about the pros but you would just conclude that the S22 Ultra can do it all.

There is little to fault with the latest version of this phone in the fast becoming outdated rectangle screen format. Setting up was nearly completely automated with the option to make sure any old data/settings/files could be excluded if not wanted. The screen and camera are seriously good, especially compared my previous S10. The only small things that have not changed much are the lack of a charge cable/plug in pack, the requirement for special plug and cable for Superfast charge and still the odd time the phone seems to switch on and navigate menus in pocket after switching off. Otherwise a pretty serious peice of hardware.

With the latest update at the time of this review, the S22 Ultra is honestly the best phone purchase I've ever made. So far it's Samsung's most beautiful sleek smartphone design, with the high quality smooth metal back which leaves no finger prints, It has one of the best displays I've ever seen on a smartphone (even Samsung's big competitors can't help but to use Samsung's beautiful displays for their smartphones) and not to mention up to 120hz refresh rate makes this phone glide smooth and fast like butter, love it. To make this short, the dual speakers with Dolby Atmos to their best cameras and strong Exynos chip, this phone will tick all your boxes. 10/10

Coming from s20+, The camera is an impressive improvement. However, that ends there. All functions are basically the same. The speed is negligible from the previous flagship. The phone gets hot! Really hot! Especially when doing movie stream.
Samsung removed the preapplied screen protector and is selling it separately for $20. Overall, if you have at least s20 handset, its not worth the money to spend on this one. If you want a new toy with a great cam, sure buy it.

I purchased a week ago, I was previously an iPhone user. Some elements of the phone I really like. The camera more than anything. Other things I don't like. On iPhones you can add emojis to your texts like a thumbs up to like a message or a heart to show you acknowledge their message without having to type anything. When I change the font size it doesn't change in messages. I have trouble with my finger print being recognised. When I try to zoom in on pictures in socials it doesn't allow me to zoom to far As I've only had for a week I'm sure there will be other things but so far I'm not that excited by my change to samsung.

I upgraded from a galaxy note 10+ and as for features there not a whole lot new but all of what was in the note 10+ is now night and day to the s22 ultra, my faverout features are the biometrics (face recognition and on screen finger print scanner) the note 10+ had both of these but only worked half the time and even less as time went on but with the s22 ultra it works flawlessly other key features include the battery life witch actually does last all day even when I'm playing music all day or travelling with Google maps over long distances.
All together, this is an amazing phone, and it's been a while since I've been able to say that. It's highly recommended.

I bought the S23Ultra direct from Samsung online in response to their marketing emails to me. I was told in the email to enter a promo code for automatic free Samsung Care. I entered the code but the care was not added and now Samsung Customer Service says can't be added later. I thought it came with a writing stylus but that was not sent. The phone is as good as the S21 (I've been a Samsung phone user since the first ever model with a new phone every 2 years but that loyalty obviously means nothing). Some of the software features are irritating like home screen contact and direct dial widgets now being superimposed with big red contact icons which look horrible.

Bought this a week ago.
Previous phone was a Note 8.
The speed and resolution is remarkable.
Really immerses me into the content.
I use my phone like a portable pc. Love the features of dex and the ability to connect wirelessly to a screen.
Also impressed with link to Windows, which makes monitoring multiple devices much easier.
So far, so good.
No comments about battery life yet. Still getting enough juice from a single days use.
Would've hoped for a charger and a case with the product.
The s pen is nice, but no noticeable improvements. Perhaps the button on the s pen could've been made a different colour. Sometimes difficult to find the button quickly.

I recently sent my A31 for a swim and decided to take the plunge and buy a supposed flagship model. I can't begin to say about my disappointment. The battery life is terrrible lucky to get a day out of the phone. I remember on my S5 which I had up until last year I would only need to charge once a week. Another problem is music files as wma are not supported on S22. I have already had 2 visits to Telstra for assistance and they said the technical issues were not able to be fixed. Overall I think I have done my money over buying a more expensive phone than I ever had in the past, I can't see the value or gains made.

I upgraded my Samsung S8 to the S22 but I really don't think it's any better. I upgraded because the battery on my S8 wasn't lasting the whole day on one charge. But the S22 only lasts the same time. I can't believe it, the S8 is 5 years old. I'm not the biggest user of the phone so I think that's pretty poor. Another thing is the S22 doesn't come with a charger. Such an expensive phone and no charger... Very poor Samsung! It also doesn't allow an SD card or have a headphone jack. I just feel the phone has gone backwards. I haven't noticed any improvements since the S8 apart from the camera. The camera is good but it's not worth paying so much for. I do like the flat screen more than the curved one but it really does feel like an IPhone now. Overall I'm disappointed, it just seems in the past 5 years Samsung has removed features without any improvements.

I was one of the lucky customers that got my S22 ultra early it come with a cable to charge my phone no wall charger alittle disappointing. Overall tho a smooth transition over transferring my stuff from my S20 ultra. I did have some teething problems of my finger print not registering when trying to unlock my phone and also my video recording just stopped working one day so I had to reset my phone and it started to work amazing and I haven't had any problems again since.
My biggest phrase would be for the camera and videos it's amazing and I spend most of my time capturing moments of my beautiful family.
Thanks samsung for the early delivery and awesome phone.

Brought the Samsung s 22 ultra on pre order and can say its the best one ever released.
Screen, battery life, asthetics, camera are just amazing, compared to the other models in the S and Z range.
This phone is my No:1 device, for work and leisure, I'm able to multi task between work and play on the screen with an array of apps open at once.
This phone brings connectivity to a different level, I'm able to link my samsung Galaxy watch 5 Pro, HP laptop, and TV all together, along with accessing my cloud from any corner of the planet, well all most.
Samsung for me is just the ultimate, and the S 22 Ultra cannot be compared to any other device, its the real deal.

Cane from a Galaxy Note 9, best phone Samsung ever made, getting long in the tooth so I went to a Pixel 6 Pro, that was a mess, so I got rid of it. Now on a Galaxy S22u. Screen is nice, it's a little quicker, cameras are an upgrade and that's about it. Should have made it a touch thicker and added more battery eg 6000mAhHr. Lots of backward steps like no SD Card, no earphone jack etc Terrible trade in policies in Australia and exorbitant repair costs. In retrospect I am not sure why I bothered. I'd suggest if people don't need an Spen to get the A52s if they want a Samsung.

It was so easy to set up and transfer all the data from my old phone. Previously when I have changed phones and transferred data I still had to sort everything out. With this phone it was simple with hardly anything to do. My only negative thing is I'm not able to use an SD card, so everything I had on my card now is in the phone which takes up a lot of storage. I don't know why the SD card feature was removed. I didn't realise that it didn't have the SD card slot, if I did it most probably would have been the deal breaker for me, I would have just repaired my note 20 which needs a screen. The screen stooped working for some reason and was quoted $500 to replace it.

I have been using the amazing S22 ultra and I fell in love with it from the first look.
I love the long-life battery
I love the camera set-up
I love the customisations
I love the S pen and how it open a whole new world of features to make productivity and life easier.
I love the fact that I can expand my RAM memory as I wish
I love the Good lock app that gives my phone a nice and sleek look.
If I may add, I miss the notification LED, is it possible that we can get the ring around the front camera to act like notification LED with different colours?
That would be amazing if we can get this SMALL update of a software but BIG performance and customisation update

I've always stuck with Samsung phones, and they never disappoint. I've been looking at this phone before it was released and only decided to purchase it several months later and it was much better than expected. The specification and media marketing does not do the phone much justice as the phone overall is much better than advertised. The phone screen quality and design far exceeds any other competitors can offer and Samsung REALLY does listen to their customers and what people want in their phone. Great job Samsung team, you're honestly the best innovators and you lead by example being transparent with your phones!

I have just purchased this in the past few days & so far have found it packs alot of technical features & extra features I have never heard of before despite being a long time Samsung Galaxy user. It will take me more time to learn some of these new technical features. I love the fast easy access pen application to write quick notes on the run. I am yet to put the camera to the test, but I do love the quick scan feature in camera mode. I also like the sound of the battery saver, only charging the battery to 85% capacity and no more to preserve battery life. Though would have loved it in a Gold or Blue outer colour.

Please buy two phones if something happens to your phone repair is not easy it will take maybe week or 2 week.first time I got regret to buy Samsung s22 network issues battery issues still waiting for my phone ..apple is good at least they give you good service it will take 2 to 3 hours for repairs .in Samsung it will take 2 to 3 days to get repair center then 1 day for repair and 2 to 3 days to come back ...I was using Samsung from s4 s8 s10 s20 s22 I think next will be apple If I got enough money then stick on my plan 2 samsung phones one for repair one for backup

I bought this phone 2 weeks back upgraded from iPhone, best decision ever, I was surprised and shocked to see that Samsung offer such amazing functionality, features and looks For very reasonableprice ., For instance , Bigger screen , Long lasting battery with fast charging , with the amazing look and modern design looks so classy , and not only limited to above , spen included ( hidden feature) .I think I going to be long term customer with Samsung, I did took Samsung care aswell which gives me opportunity to swap old damaged phone for new phone instead or repairing .I would highly recommend the phone

I bought this a couple months ago on the pre-launch, and the first thing I notice is the quality and feel of the phone
The speed, visual graphics so far are better than I remember on previous S2 and S7 when they came out, and I just hope this phone lasts me more than 4-5 years as the previous phones did.
Only down side is I am not sure why these are costing more than double the price of S2 and S7 when they were brand new? sure there is inflation and escalation but double seems bit too expensive, but being a Samsung user for the last 8 years I went with it.

I have had this phone for a week and love everything about it I had a Samsung Z3 flip before and I really like the convenience of it but I found the camera wasn't as good as I expected so I upgraded to the Samsung S22 ultra love it ,it’s fast loading the camera is fantastic some say it’s hard to hold but iam a women with small hands and I find it’s comfortable to hold I also bought the Samsung case with the strap so I feel safer that I won’t drop it, The display is lovely ,it’s super fast loading and love the position of the s pen ,I have bought Samsung mobiles since 2010 and this is the best model I think .

Having owned Samsung phones for years, I decided to upgrade my Samsung S9+ to the new S22 Ultra a week ago.
Pros: The phone is easy to use and displays beautiful graphics. The Smart Switch transfer was seamless with the exception of music. The S-pen is a wonderful addition, making the S22 Ultra more versatile in its usage, especially if wanting to work on documents.
Cons: Absence of ear phones and charger. Music files do not transfer unless they are a MP3 - a fact I had to research. The LED screen only partially works - I cannot add icons to my contacts and only phone calls and time show up in the cover.

I have been using Galaxy S series phones from last 5 years. Never been disappointed, each year device performance, camera quality is top notch. Friends always try to make me buy a iphone but in my opinion iPhone are just overhyped and no innovation at all. Glad to be on team Samsung. I got my parents Samsung phones as well. I love how the mid range phones are alos feel premium. I am waiting and always excited for new s series phones to come next year. I love my s22 ultra from day one was preordered when it lauched and now getting my wife one too. Ngl the preorder bonuses are always great, excited for the s23. I know Samsung never disappoints. The screen is beautiful, the inclusion of the S Pen adds a other dimension to my productivity, and thr battery life is incredible.
The camera quality is just phenomenal - I've taken some stunning photos with my new S22 Ultra.
Its dimensions mean it's easy to use single-handed, and you can type on the keyboard without making many errors.
The fingerprint scanner is quick, and accurate, and the face lock feature works perfectly every time.
I am trying to find features I don't like so much, and I am struggling - I love my new phone!
In my eyes, it's the best phone Samsung have ever made, and I'm glad I bought it.

I had a note 10 plus before upgrading, was hesitant to upgrade because my phone was still perfect after 3 years, my husband needed a new phone so I upgraded to the ultra S22. Very similar to my note 10 plus including the pen, but much better. Huge storage, phone is more responsive and quicker. The camera is absolutely the best. Really glad that I upgraded, all the features I loved from my old phone, just better. Battery is also amazing, cannot believe how fast it charges and how well it lasts, I'm a heavy phone user and I get 24 hours out of a charge.

Coming from someone that had never used an Android smartphone and had stuck with Apple for many years, the S22 Ultra was a breath of fresh air for someone like me who must use my mobile device closely with a PC and laptop. The extensive features such as the nice camera and various useful settings also came in great. The S Pen does what I needed it to do and in particular is very useful if you are writing non-English characters like Chinese.
The phone setup was a little long-winded and a little frustrating, but that was as I previously had not made a Samsung account. Overall a good and satisying package.

It's been only 10 days I got my hands on galaxy s22 ultra and let me tell you, its the best phone I ever had. I m guy who was big fan of IPHONE. But after hearing about S22 Ultra. I wanted to give it a try. The camera is mindblowing which I don't think Apple can even match. SPEN is awesome, just a click of the button and you can click a pic. What a brilliant idea.
Apart from that availability of RAM, which is crucial for running multiple apps at same time, adding ram from main storage memory is other spec which I love about S22 ultra.
Get your hands on s22 ultra, coz trust me you are missing the thrill.

After careful investigation about phones with a doubt purchased samsung galaxy s22 ultra, but it changes my life , I do businesses over the phone mostly, and samsung s22 ultra has features so helpful, can communicate with numbers of people also documents suffliing made so easy, spen and it's features just so useful for my self . Literally it has saves my at least 4 hours of the day just scanning, printing, forwarding, editing, of documents by using only samsung s22 ultra.
It's my computer, dairy, invoices chop and changes, commutation, pictures and list so big to mention here.

My wife got this device for me as a surprise last year, (I'd been saying how much I wanted it for MONTHS!)
I can honestly say it's a game changer. Raised the bar for Android phones, whilst leaving Apple in the dust. Even though I had to sadly get rid of it for financial reasons, I'll never forget my time with it. It's just so advanced, the s pen is unmatched. The tricks you can do with the s pen are incredible, the camera quality is second to none and the software is brilliant, not to mention it's an absolutely beautiful design. I loved it beyond words and miss it so much.. so please do yourself a favour and get one. You'll not be disappointed, I can wholeheartedly promise you that!

I bought this phone a week ago, still in Training. So far ahead of my old phone. I think I need a 2 week training course. I still need to sort out the settings for saving the battery as currently it uses a lot of battery. The camera is great. My suggestion to anyone that buys one is to ensure that you check for updates before you start personalising the phone. I rearranged Icons and widgets then updated and lost all I saved. Tech support were a great help in restoring most of it, but some things were lost. I'm a senior so this stuff does not come naturally. But I will master what I need from the Phone.

I have been using Huawei phones for several years and unfortunately Samsung doesn't have nearly as many good features compared to Huawei work does it have that many really good features compared to Huawei. For example if I want to find an app on the Samsung phone they are not listed in alphabetical order so it takes me a long time to find apps on my Samsung phone also I have found out that I am unable to transfer my notepad from my Huawei to my Samsung which means I have to set up all my passwords from scratch which I already had on the Huawei phone also the Huawei would report to me if an app was using power in the background and I would have the option to turn it off but I can't find any such thing in the Samsung phone

I didn't want to upgrade my phone but had to due to it being stolen and then destroyed, so I went for the s22 ultra, the camera and editing features on this phone is amazing, I have used this underwater and the photos have turned out amazing ( I did use waterproof holder) I haven't had any issues with it and I feel like the battery lasts a lot longer than my other phone I had previously, functionality is fantastic and all apps are easy to find and use, the swipe up for the wallet is fantastic. All the security features it has is amazing and I feel safe using this phone. I'm so happy I got this model.

I recently purchased the S22ultra and I am so happy with it! As a busy Mum juggling a business and kids I am really enjoying the convenience of this device, love love live the camera! The pen was a added bonus I didn't even realise I had and for someone that thought I'd never use a pen it's great for filling out and signing work documents I haven't touched my computer since owning the S22ultra. The size of it it great big enough to handle documents not to mention when screening movies etc but still small enough to fit in the pocket of my running tights and my clutch.
Oh and can't forget the battery life and great service! The Galaxy S22ultra is top device.

I purchased this about a week ago after comparing to a very similar rival phone for some time.
I ended up going for the s22 ultra (upgrading from an old samsung) and I have NO regrets at all. I am blown away with this phone compared to previous generations.
It is so user friendly. Has an amazing camera, great storage. I have not found anything to fault with this phone so far.
The screen quality is amazing, battery is fairly decent (lasts me a full day, brightness up and gps running for work reasons)
Audio is very clear. Could be a little louder in my opinion but still good for phone quality.
I am still fiddling with the phone and finding more amazing features

Upgraded from S10+ and there are many added features I like about it. The 100x zoom is overkill but can be handy to read things normal eyes can't. The x10 zoom works flawlessly. Super charging 2.0 has changed my charging habit; since it charges from 15-85% in 30 mins, I just charge it upon getting out of bed and unplug it when I'm headed out to work (instead of charging the phone overnight). 120 Hz refresh rate is extremely smooth in the eyes, but I prefer battery life over it. No performance issues. Got the 256GB version thanks to bonus trade up credit and free memory upgrade promo. Would've preferred if the Ultra followed the shape of the S series rather than looking like a Note series.

The phone is brilliant, the cover very poor quality.
I purchased end of June 2022. By end of July the cover had warn through the outer material.
Thats from only sliding in and out of pocket.
Not a heavy phone user and for the price of the cover it's plainly not worth it and I wouldn't recommend.

I received my new phone last Wednesday. Within an hour the phone started turning itself on and off. I took it to my phone provider and showed them, then was instructed to take it to a Samsung authorised technician who gave me a printout if faults my brand new phone has. Then on Sunday when I went to unlock the device so I could remove all my data from it, it decided it no longer wants to unlock. So another visit is due tomorrow to the Samsung tech to hopefully get it unlocked for me. My late brothers voice is on that phone so I need it unlocked. I had to purchase a cheap phone to use while I wait for my phone provider to get stock so I can get the phone swapped for a new one. So not only am I currently paying for a phone I can’t use, I’m out of pocket for another phone. So right now I am not happy at all with my shiny new phone. This is the first time I’ve ever been disappointed with buying a Samsung phone. I can’t review the features or design as I’m yet to see any.

Pretty happy with the phone. To transfer from an older Samsung worked better than expected as I didn't have to dance much to re activate usable apps.
I was hoping for more access to apps using the Android Car Autoplay, also it does need tweeking when connecting to it too, a bit of mucking about.
Sending and receiving mms is remarkably disappointing even when the two phones are Samsung brands, latest models too mind you.
Would like to see better covers that can be usable in a car, like a magnetic base at least.
Over all the phone works well and is reasonably easy to navigate. The S pen certainly beats the older Galaxy Note 9, very responsive and very real like to use...Great Job Samsung.

Had the phone for only a few days. So far it seems fine. Not raving about it in comparison to my former S8 but am so far happy. Disappointments: included was a cable but not sure what I am supposed to do with it as nothing else comes, no ear buds nor place for my former cord model to access and, thus, I had to BUY bluetooths. Could at least supply cord ones as previously for the price of the phone! And, not even a charger?? Again, for the price—why not!? Also, only a flimsy piece of plastic over the screen with no screen savers included—really. Seems Samsung is set on increasing profits by requiring the purchase of accessories! Yeah, disappointing. A few confusing features, too, such as a little bubble that pops up intrusively when a message comes and that I can’t seem to get rid of?? Can’t seem to get a different sound for when a message arrives so have to check every time to identify what has made the incoming sound? Would really like to identify my messages verses my emails?

I've had my s22 Ultra for only a week now, but it is the best phone I have ever owned. The display is gorgeous, battery life is fantastic and I love the s pen.
Only issue I have is with the under display fingerprint reader. I have set it up, but it sometimes has trouble reading my fingerprints and fails to unlock the phone (requiring me to unlock another way). This doesn't happen all the time, so isn't a big issue.
The phone is so fast on 5g. My previous phone had 5g also, but the s22 ultra is super fast. Watching videos is super fast on this phone.
In all, I love my Samsung s22 Ultra 5G

I'm old school. I believed phones only need to do what you require, nothing more. The previous phone was a Samsung Galaxy S8+. I did everything I needed so I didnt see the need to upgrade. After many years of use, the battery started running shorter than usual. I reluctantly upgraded to the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra and ...wow. I feel like Ive come out of the stone age. This phone is amazing! I used to get up my Wife and Daughter for being on their phones constantly, but now I cant put mine down. This phone came with a pen, which I absolutely love!!! Definitely recommend to anyone!

I specifically chose Samsung as the supplier to upgrade from my Note 10 to the S22 Ultra. One of the primary reasons was to be able to uptrade (specifically to allow reuse of my old phone which is still in good condition. Initially was disappointed with the delivery options, but was contacted by a very helpful support person who arranged more appropriate delivery options. The resulting problem was NO options to uptrade . I received the phone (and a new galaxy 5pro watch) - went on holidays, but apparently missed out on the opportunity to uptrade, safe some money and re-use my old products.

I work in IT, and travel alot for work. I recently bought the S22 Ultra, upgrading from my s20 fe 5g. The change is undeniable and I am in love. The phone lasts ages while having a big and bright screen. The finger print sensor is fast and accurate. The camera is superb, amazing shots and spectacular colour and night mode.
The stylus isn't something I was expecting to use a lot, which is true, but I've enjoyed everytime I've brought it out. Just drawing for fun from time to time, with the accuracy of the pen, is good fun.
I don't think there's anything else to say, other than I already love this phone. Recommend 100%
It is a bit pricey but I got it on a plan so no large chunk of cash.

Hi, I've only just recently upgraded to the new Samsung S22 Ultra phone from the old S9 Plus, the first thing I've noticed is the finger print scanner don't pick up my finger print as good as the old S9 and I'm have troubles unlocking the phone, plus I'm unable to use my DJI Fly app as it keeps crashing when I go to start the app. After reading up on the net this sounds to be a very common issue.
The volume controls are also on the opposite side to where they were before, this is very annoying.
Overall, I'm not very impressed with the phone for the money I've spent to purchase it. 5/10

Having upgraded after 4 years with my Galaxy S9, I'm so pleased with the features and quality of the S22 Ultra and the 5G works super fast with the processor. Battery life is a true 48 hours for me and the clarity of the phone calls is vastly improved. I haven't tried the video out yet but everything else works exceptionally well. This is my third Samsung and I'm very likely to buy another one when I need to.

I owned a Galaxy Note8 and then bought an S 10 and moved to an S21 Ultra. I was hesitant about buying an S22 as I thought there was little reason to upgrade but I was wrong. The S22 Ultra 512Gb 5g is a much faster unit and outperforms the S21 which was a good phone. The changeover was seamless with Samsung smart switch and the pen is just wonderful and makes the phone easier to operate as well as giving added functionality. I love my Samsung phone which is easy to use and powerful. I now have a virtual PC in my hand albeit with a smaller screen. Some of my friends have already traded up to the S22 Ultra. I would strongly recommend this S22 Ultra as it is one of the best phones Samsung have produced.

My note 9 got smashed and I was devastated. After having it for 3+ years, it was finally time to upgrade, but I couldn't find a phone that matched the specs that I was after. Income the Galaxy Bote S22 ... I mean Ultra.... I was blown away at the quality of the camera and the performance. I heard that it runs hot, but in my day to day use, I hardly gets warm... Mind you I don't heavily game on it - that's reserved for my PC Playstation, Switch, or Xbox.
I got the Green and I love the colour - mind you, it is now wrapped in a super tough Quadlock case to protect my precious baby - I mean phone. So unfortunately I don't get to see it on a day to day basis.
Expensive as faaaaaaaaaaaaarq - but it was worth every penny. I'm hoping this will last me a good 4 years + (if I don't break it).

I bought the device in January 2023 and after 5 days of using the device I had to send it back to the store. The phone rapidly drained the battery while using the apps using location services, like Google map. The battery heats up extremely rapidly. I had to charge the phone twice a day. The phone does not increase the battery level while charging the phone in my car but only helps to maintain the same level. I have used same app in the basic A series Samsung phone wherein I had experienced no problem with battery at all. After the screen damage of my previous phone, I decided to upgrade but to my disappointment the new S22 ultra currently is back to store and I am waiting for replacement (4th Feb 2023).

Got the s22 ultra 4 months ago. So disappointed the battery life is rubbish can lose over 20% without using the phone. Screen often flashes, now a line is developed across the screen. Apps like Facebook/ email constantly crashes. The heat of the phone is ridiculous, often can be felt through pocket and is uncomfortable to hold. For the expense price tag it should be so much better. I have always been a samsung phone user but after this phone I wouldn't get another samsung again.

I brought a new s22 ultra had it one week before a line devolped across the screen took it back to the retailer and was told it would have to be sent away 4 weeks had passed I emailed them after I'd sought some advice . I was 2 k down and with out a mobile phone as I got a new one to replace my damaged phone . 5 weeks before I had a answer and was approved for a replacement phone . The whole process was annoying and non informative. Plus it cost me more money in new screen protection and so on . The new phone it's self is honestly in my opinion no better then my s21 ultra

Before the latest update I couldn’t get into Facebook. So when update came out I was hoping this would be fixed. WRONG!!
Now I can’t get into any of the apps. I tried resetting and now I can’t even download an app from App Store. It just keeps booting me out.
So thanks for this crap phone that I paid $2000 for. Both me and my daughter have the same phone and we both have had exactly the same problems with our phones . I will never buy a Samsung again and going back to apple.

Got this phone on a plan, 2 days after collection I have put my SIM card back into my iPhone 8
The battery life is short, notifications go off when there is nothing new, msgs stay un read, Bluetooth doesn’t connect to my brand new CX30 nor does android play work.

I love my new s22 ultra! I upgraded from a note 10+, mainly so I could upgrade my camera while maintaining all the great features of the note series. Switching between phones was even easier than I remembered and was quite quick, even though I had lots of data to transfer. Everything came across and I was up and running again within an hour. Too easy. The s22 ultra has great battery life and I actually really like the new position for the power and volume buttons. It feels good in my hand and is easy to use. The s22 ultra is everything I expected and more. I’m loving it

This Samsung has let me down to the point where I switched to iPhone and realised that Samsung isn’t superior in anyway
I had bubbling in my Samsung and sent it back for warranty
Only for the phone to be returned in poor shape not once but twice
I have sent it back again for the 3rd time

I bought this back in mid March to use the phone for a trip in April and only arrived late May. Despite my initial disappointment with the delivery of the product, the product itself is absolutely amazing. Couldn't have asked for more. Battery life is great and I don't have to keep charging my device (I am a heavy phone user). The system is smooth and fast! Would be great if a screen protector and charger (instead of only the cable) is included in the starter box so I can use the phone straight away. Camera is next level and I won't be taking my DSLR around to travel.

No ear phone jack!!!!!!
Blu tooth ear buds are hopeless. Last 40 minutes.
In order to listen to music, I have to spend $600, on buds that last 10 hours, you think spending $1950, it would have an ear phone jack, il be going back to my A12.
Mywife bought this phone as a gift, I'd never have chosen it

Absolutely love my new Samsung S22 Ultra. I've been a Samsung customer for over 10 years and I would NEVER change brands. The only thing that I found a little weird about getting this new phone was that it didn't come with the usual ear plugs or normal charger set up, just the cord ?? I'd expect when your paying premium prices for a premium product that you would get the basic extras with it at least. I would love to win one of these prizes so I could buy a decent pair of ear phones or plugs to listen to my Spotify as listening to music on my phone is extremely important to me so not getting the ear plugs was a HUGE disappointment especially as I have been a loyal supporter and customer of Samsung for a very long time.

I feel like I am still just scratching the surface of what is possible with this machine but so far everything has been great. I experimented a bit with Bixby and had some comical results but if you don't stray from the path of requesting specific features it works well. My wife has a non anglo name and it struggles to understand me when I ask to call or text her, so that could certainly be improved. The camera is great, and I love that I can handwrite. I think my only other issue would be that this phone is quite heavy, but I am still happy with that trade off.

Had this phone for just on 12 months. Worked well for 6 months then the network connection issues started, Tested phone with multiple sims of different providers and same issue. Due to the time line of a warranty repair I swapped the phone with my Samsung care package, (This product is also not worth the money) Received a new phone, same issue and the new phone, ( most likely a repaired Phone) and same issue plus the new one also has the added feature of constantly freezing. Clearly issues with this model and Samsung have not lifted a finger to assist in any way.

I have been using Samsung phones for about 10 years and sadly, this phone has multiple bugs.
Fantastic design and great battery, however sadly this is where it ends.
The phone keeps getting hot and freezes multiple times per day.
I have been in contact with Samsung, however the option is to bring it to a service centre or post it in. I am about 2 hours away from a Samsung service centre so this is not possible and to be without a phone for about 2-3 weeks isn't an option.
I wish the review I was providing was better, however this is my honest opinion.

Always been a fan of the Samsung phones, previously had the note 20 ultra and moved to the S22 ultra and is a plesent experience.
Used the cloud storage as a back up to re install all the apps, contacts and images of my previous device and was a smooth transition once I connected to WiFi.
The camera housing is a bit sleeker and much better not having a separate camera housing that seemed a bit bulky without using a case, the S22 camera housing seem a lot better designed and a bit more set in then previously seen same cameras just slightly smoother.
As always the navigation it perfect and you will notice the better screen, the under screen fingerprint reader seems a lot more responsive.
Overall it's a very good device.

I had a Note9 before buying this phone, and only upgraded because of the reduced battery performance that comes with age, and I was having issues with calls and call quality as well. But in 'upgrading' to the S22 Ultra, I have lost the in-hand comfort of the Note9, along with its 'physical' home button that worked in full screen, LED notification light, iris scanner (which seems more secure than facial recognition), and proximity sensor (to turn the always on display off when it's in your pocket). And instead I got an ugly in screen camera. Definitely prefered have a slightly smaller screen and the extra features. On the plus side, the zoom on the camera is great, but apart from that I don't think the quality of photos taken has noticeably improved. This is a lot of money to spend given how little has improved in the last few years.

My old phone finally died and I had to replace it. I have always had iPhone going back to iPhone 3. I made a choice between latest Apple 14 X pro and ultra 22 galaxy in favour of galaxy. I am happy with my decision. The phone is quick, remarkably easy to use, and overall is just very pleasant to work with, has some neat features you'd expect on high end phone, however essentially it performs well. I'm very happy with my choice actually. It was a difficult one given I've always purchased apple products previously, but I believe I made the right one. Thank you.

I bought this phone two weeks ago. Before I was having s10+ and not a problem at all. Now top of the range phone and doesn't work well. Poor mobile reception.. No happy at all. I took it to samsung and they say between 2-3 weeks for an assessment. Ridiculous.

In April of 2022, I updated the latest Note series, rebadged as s 22 Ultra. To be clear, I'm not fond of the intermixing of the Notes with regular Galaxy phones. You're a Note user because you're a professional, student, or business user who prefers tablet phones. Notes should have vastly better battery life, larger screens and specific and responsive pen apps designed to set the Note series apart from all other phones. The Ultra fails to achieve this end. It's a large Galaxy with a pen thrown into the bundle. I've been a Note user since the series was released in 2011. The defining feature of the Samsung Note is this--it's not an iPhone. The Ultra should have been shipped with a charger, headphones, better battery life and the SD card slot because the Note series was designed to be the best phablet or big business phone. Now it's just an expensive at any price point 'big phone'. As reviewed by an experienced Note user, I'd give the Ultra a 3.5 from 5. It's just too expensive for what you get or what you do not get in this case.

This phone has a minimalistic exterior design while still incorporating Samsung's usual plethora of interior features. Samsung upgraded from the previous ranges and provided more customizability with this phone, which makes any upgrade from an older phone to this phone totally worth it. I have been eyeing this phone for a while, and after finally purchasing it, i don't regret it. I was initially concerned about the design (rectangle edges) due to reviews; however, I have yet to be bothered by it and instead really enjoy the screen as it is due to the cinematic feel and sheer video quality when screening movies. i am excited to see what else Samsung has in store but regarding this phone, Samsung has really outdone themselves.

Absolutely brilliant phone! It's A Note and the s21 put together! The camera is amazing, it's zoom is remarkable just like a telephoto! The quality pf photos is nothing I have ever had before on a phone! Also The quality of screen image is surreal, faultless, it's speed and smoothness is great for multi apps open at the same time with a split screen if you like and the pen function takes it to another level. The audio playback has your ears on edge with its surround sound and if accompanied with Samsung pods will leave you Speechless!

Phone has some great features, particularly the camera. However, since purchasing the phone I have had issues with connecting to the network (constantly says I have bars of reception, but then will not make calls/load internet/etc.). This issue is worse whenever I travel which left me stranded on travels and relying on strangers to assist me in getting back to accommodation. Issue has gotten worse the older the phone is getting. Appears to be a known fault based on the number of videos/web pages available with information on some methods to resolve the issue.

Having had Samsungs for over a decade this phone is exactly what I expected. I nice upgrade over a Note10plus. So glad its has an S pen. Take note Samsung, don't ever lose the pen. The picture quality is amazing. Biggest selling point for me was the eSim essentially turning this phone into a dual sim phone (work + personnel). Im a very heavy duty user and battery life is reasonable although I do store it on a Qi charger while at work, without that I would run flat. Getting the corporate affiliate rate allowed me to grab the 512gb version. Overall recommended.

It's not much different for over all use seems exactly the same as my previous phone (Note 10+). Performance although it has better and flagship parts, for the most they are never used for regular phone use. The only noticeable difference in this to my Note 10 is the cameras but like every new phone the cameras seem to be the priority. Android Auto seems to have major issues too. Again my last 2 phones and my partners phone (all Samsung) are up to date with Android Auto software and work fine on my stereo, S22 seems to have major bugs with pioneer head units.

I have always used Samsung and this latest Ultra doesn't disapoint. The S pen is my best friend! Swipe makes texting so easy and quick. The camera is very good and I really wouldn't expect anything less as they have always been the best in my opinion. They probably could look at a few features from the iPhone camera and add them but overall it's awesome.
Very user friendly (especially for us over 60 and not very technical) All apps are at your fingertips and easy to move around, add or delete. Overall it's a quality phone worth everything you need.

I have had this phone for a week now and I am blown away by all the extra features this phone has compared to its rivals. My wife has iPhone 13Pro and we compared the features of the two phones side by side. All I can say is that the S22 ultra comes out on top in every aspect. The camera quality is a world apart from the other phones I have tried. Especially the 108MP Zoom feature.
I also love the phone design- very ergonomically designed. It definitely is built like a tank! No complaints from me so far. I will highly recommend this phone to my colleagues.

While size and general features are similar to my note 20, I do notice: the sreen clarity is much better, especially outside; camera seems much faster (and better); battery life seems better (but it is a few years younger :-), and overall seem more responsive in everything I do.
I wish the preorder gift could be redemed at the same time. I too am still waiting for some response...I plan to get the leather cover and faster charger in my gift, so till then im paranoid about dropping my unprotected phone.
Love the phone. Wish the free gift process was better.

I got this in dec last year, tonme there is nothing that really stands out like i expected it would, the photos are like most phones and sont notice a differencein night time mode ,except some editing extras, ill have to research on how to get the most out of the camera this was the main reason i choose this phone
Its alwasy freezing or apps dont work and i have to uninstall and re install things, at point i couldnt even get off the main screen, ive had to call samsung twice and thar was in the first month of having it
The battery does last a lot longer

The Pen!!! Super responsive, I can use my most fancy of fancy girl writing and it will still know what I'm saying!
It came with the PenUp app which is a total game changer for art on the go.
Any one asks me if I have a pen and paper handy? BAM! I sure as s**t do! Pull out the pen on lock screen- write a note.
Got it in burgundy- beautiful!
Love the shape, not too heavy. The screen is a little less responsive than I'd like to my fingers with the glass screen protector on but I can get around it.... WITH THE PEN

I have been using the Ultra S22 for a couple of weeks now, the color of the phone is awesome, the features are easy to navigate, when holding the phone it is surprising comfortable and the screen size is perfect for text, email and movies. The photos are so crisp and bright, very true to the natural color, I especially like the delayed group photo function and editing features. The pen is unbelievably helpful, now I can edit with accuracy and speed, I can’t live without it! This phone far exceeds expectations & is the best one I have had yet! ….Just try it!

Bought two similar phones. 1 green with 512gb and 1 burgundy with 256 gb. The larger memory is for my son who uses his phone like a computer , I only need the smaller memory.
I'm very happy with mine but I'm old and constantly amazed by technology. I upgraded from a Note 9 so I found a lot of similarities. My son upgraded from an S20 and is rapidly falling in love with the S pen.
Anyway, both great phones with good battery life. Gets us both through our days with more to spare.
Very very happy. A highly recommended phone although certainly not cheap.

I purchased this phone to replace my S9 model. I'm not tech savvy so I was looking for a phone that is fast, takes great photos and is functional. And this phone gives it all and more.
Swiping through photos is really fast without any of that lag. Photos look amazing too.
As the phone is a lot bigger than my last, it took adjusting to use the keypad with my little hands but I'm use to it now and it's fine.
Screen is huge so watching videos is like seeing a flat screen TV in my hand!
Only downside is that it is hard to find a cover for the phone.

We specifically upgraded our phone for blue tick because we are in regional Victoria and often working in isolation.. Phone keeps dropping out. It works well when I'm in Melbourne which isn't very often. Family had a earlier model samsung phone not a ultra and were able to get reception. I can't get reception with this phone. If you live in a regional area save yourself the stress and don't buy this phone.

Thank you to Samsung for bringing out such an amazing mobile phone that has everything right there in front of you and it's so easy to access I've had 5 X brain surgeries
from 6 x brain aneurysms
and 6x strokes
and I was with iPhones for a long long long time and was very frustrating because I forget things & I couldn't find them easy
BUT this phone wow it is brought tears to my eyes because I can actuallyl find things and do things so easily,. I Don't feel so defected anymore
it's was the best asset that I BROUGHT triple AAA ++++
