Pairing a Bluetooth device to my Galaxy Phone

You can pair devices together via Bluetooth to transfer data, play audio, conduct calls and other functions. Devices must be paired properly before any form of data can be transferred. Please follow the below options to find out how to pair devices together.

Please note: This guide is designed for Australian variant Galaxy devices, if you have an international device and require further support click here to get in touch with your Samsung subsidiary. Bluetooth connections between devices may vary depending on the connecting Bluetooth device specifications.

Bluetooth Pairing via Quick Settings

Step 1. Swipe down on your screen to access your Quick Settings and tap on the Bluetooth icon to enable Bluetooth.

Step 2. Locate and select the device you would like to connect to

Step 3. Tap Pair on both devices to confirm the Bluetooth pairing request

Step 4. Once the two devices are connected, you will be able to view them under Paired devices

Bluetooth Pairing via Connection Settings

Step 1. Head into your Settings > Connections

Step 2. Tap on the Bluetooth setting

Step 3. Toggle on the Bluetooth setting

Step 4. Select the device you would like to connect to

Step 5. Once complete, you will be able to view the connected device under Paired Devices.

Unpairing

Step 1.Head into your Settings Connections

Step 2. Toggle on Bluetooth to enable this setting, once enabled select the setting to view your paired devices

Step 3. Locate the device you would like to unpair and tap the Settings
Step 4.Then finally tap on Unpair
