Notice of Discontinuation of Gallery sync to Microsoft OneDrive

Please kindly take note that the Samsung Gallery Sync with Microsoft OneDrive feature (the "Service". will no longer be available as of September 30th, 2026.

After this change takes effect, photos and videos stored in OneDrive will no longer be viewable through the Gallery app. If you would like to continue viewing content saved in OneDrive through your device's Gallery app, you can download the original files using the Download Originals function in the Gallery sync with OneDrive in your Gallery app prior to the discontinuation of the Service

1. When will the service be terminated?

   The Service will no longer be available as of September 30th, 2026. As a result, all account-linking information between Microsoft and Samsung accounts will also be deleted. The detailed schedule nay change depending on business circumstances



2. What happens to photos and videos already stored in OneDrive?

   Your existing photos and videos synced from Gallery sync with OneDrive will remain safely stored in OneDrive and can still be accessed through the OneDrive app
   
   If you want to keep viewing them in your device's Gallery app, you can download the originals in advance by using Download Originals or directly through the OneDrive app
   



3. How do I download the original photos and video files in OneDrive to my device?

   When downloading multiple photos/videos, only files that fit your device's available storage will be saved.
   
   - Download by individual photo/video: Gallery > Photos (bottom left) > Touch and hold a photo/video to enter Select mode > Select items to download > More (bottom right) > Download
   
   - Download by album Gallery > Menu (bottom right) > Settings > Gallery sync with OneDrive > Download Originals > Select an album > Download



4. Which features will not be available after the service ends?

   
   

   • Gallery sync with OneDrive
   
   
   • Certain Gallery features (such as Story Sync, etc. )
   
   
   • Viewing OneDrive-synced photos and videos in the Gallery app provided on Samsung TVs/monitors
   
   
   • Viewing OneDrive-synced photos and videos in the Family Hub Gallery app provided on Samsung home appliances
   
   



5. Can I still use Gallery sync with OneDrive to store photos and videos?

   Gallery sync with OneDrive will no longer be available after the service ends. You can continue storing photos and videos to OneDrive using the Camera backup feature within the OneDrive app.
