Rated 5 out of 5 by from It’s awesome and serves its purpose..... I bought this laptop through Telstra; in a data plan. Being a High school teacher, and a techy, I needed something that will last the day without running out of battery power and having to charge it. Other reviews are writing about playing games, multi-tasking etc. It’s. Snapdragon chip! An ARM based chip! Alongside a OMLED display (which is Awesome)... it’s not going to do what other chipsets do, (i7, i5 etc.), otherwise it chews up battery power (like a modified V8 engine guzzling petrol to drive to Westfields). Regular maintenance on your laptop, such as defragging the SSD and running a memory optimiser, allows me to run OneNote, a browser with multiple tabs, and my uni portal to the library. Even connecting it to an external Monitor to increase my workspace; runs like a dream. I use it for preparing lessons, and student work; connected to projectors and using the S-Pen for writing and drawing on the screen guided instruction and explanations (the s-pen is very on-par, if not better than the Apple Pencil 1st and 2nd gen), makes the pen flawless and doesn’t need recharging! Being a postgraduate student (not the first time), I’ve tried other windows based tablets, and the iPad Pro, 3rd and 4th gen; i find it literally on-par with the iPad Pro! It’s a device that is made for a person who does a lot of document type of work, emails, using it in place of paper (I’m completely paperless...) etc... this is for you if you need the extra battery power to last you for the day, while sitting at a cafe, or your on the go... it has sufficient processing power to do all the everyday kind of things... if you need something with more oomph! You need an i5 or an i7 chip, with more RAM and this laptop isn’t for you... If you keep it maintained, then I am very sure this device could serve you well... by the way, the 4G, is freaking awesome!!!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Good display but unrealiable I've had this device for a 18 months give or take and have had the screen replaced twice because it just stopped working. Not an issue you would think to have if you're spending $2000AUD on a product. Literal trash

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not worth it. Severely disappointed with this purchase. Ever since I've bought it, the laptop takes forever to charge, I could charge it for hours for it to only reach 14%. The laptop also runs extremely slowly and is not how it was advertised at all.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A well balanced powerhouse I bought the original 12 inch 8/256GB version a year ago and it has been simply fantastic. Killer touch screen, solid keyboard included, and just well balanced performance. This is now my main PC and I love it to bits. Talks to my S9 perfectly with Flow, to the point I can unlock the PC with a fingerprint swipe on my Phone. Great job Samsung.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Compact and Easy to use I purchased this product through a plan and I absolutely love it. Does everything it says seamlessly. Have not to connect to a hot spot or wi-fi is a massive advantage whilst working away from the office. At home, the whole family loves the convenience to use as a tablet as well The perfect companion for home and travel.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A good general purpose performer To start this, I am a genuine user of this device and have no loyalty to Samsung or any other company. The RAM could do with a boost to 8GByte to provide better stability when several tabs are open, but overall this is a great little performer, if you buy it with knowing what it is and not expecting it to perform miracles. This is a Windows on ARM device, running a SnapDragon 850, so it is no Intel Core i5 equivalent so don't expect it to be. It is not a gaming machine. It is not high end. It is not designed for AutoCAD or heavy graphics editing. It is not the machine to do your video editing on. Now we have established what it is not, I can tell you it is great if you want to use Office applications such as Word and Excel and it will fly through small to medium spread sheet processing and even some small to medium PowerPoint presentations. It is also fantastic for web browsing, and once you turn S Mode off you can install Chrome if you wish. You do get better battery life in S Mode, but that does restrict you to store only applications. I use this for web browsing, word processing, email, NetFlix, YouTube and the like. That is what this device is intended for. The Always On internet is a great feature and the instant wake up is fantastic. It wakes up as quickly as a Mobile Phone. Speaking of a Mobile Phone, thats really how you should treat this device. Windows, running on a processor with the power of a Mobile Phone. While not directly comparable, if you think of it running with similar power to your phone, then you wont be disappointed. The screen is gorgeous, the build quality is up with the best, the keyboard, although a little cheap looking, is as beautiful to type on as the Surface Type Cover keyboards and the Touchpad is smooth and accurate. Battery life is the big killer. You'll easily get a full day out of this with power to spare, even with the screen on constantly. 8 hours of Netflix straight and it still has 45% battery. Don't expect it to be an Intel i7 or i5 and be real about what it is and this device wont let you down. I will just say this. Although built to a high quality and a good general performer, this is an expensive device for a SnapDragon based device. I am not saying don't buy it, but it is expensive for a device with only low to midrange specs.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Loved it when it works I think it is a great little Windows tablet, but this has limitations. With the Windows apps store not as good as the play store. My biggest disappointment is it wont power up. I have already had the mainboard replaced, set it up last night all worked well. Went to turn it on this morning, won't power up.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Neither Laptop / PC nor Mobile Compact but not able to use certain software. Software available for PC / Laptop and or for Mobile devices but this is in between does not able to run either. For example, Sony's PlayMemories or Imaging Edge.
