Scratch-resistant Glass

Anti-Scratch Glass

Its Anti-Scratch Glass has a high hardness rating and can withstand 1.5x more pressure without scratching compared to Samsung’s normal ceramic glass*. It is highly scratch resistant, so it is less likely to get marked and is easy to maintain.

* Based on testing by Samsung in accordance with ASTM G133-95, compared to the Samsung model NZ30A3060UK/AA with conventional glass. Results provided to and interpreted by Intertek. The test involves scratching on the cooktop with a stainless steel ball, with a 6mm diameter and made of SUS304 material, back and forth 10 times with increasing pressure (MPa), and then checking the surface with both the naked eye and a microscope to determine when a scratch is visible.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using this stove top for several months now, and I honestly can’t believe how much I love it. From the moment I installed it, it felt like an upgrade to a professional kitchen. The heat distribution is incredibly even and responsive. Whether I’m simmering a delicate sauce on low or searing a steak on high, every burner performs perfectly. No more hot spots or uneven cooking! The temperature control is precise, and it heats up lightning-fast. I especially appreciate how easy it is to clean. The smooth surface wipes down in seconds, even after messy spills. the sleek black finish looks modern and elegant in my kitchen.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This induction cooktop is the perfect marriage of durability and precision. The Anti-Scratch Matte Glass is a standout feature. It is significantly more resilient than standard glass, keeping the surface looking brand new even with heavy daily use. The Sync Burners are a game-changer for hosting, allowing you to control two zones as one large surface for griddles or oversized pans. With the 4.3kW Power Burner, water boils almost instantly, and the touch controls offer immediate, precise heat adjustments. It’s a sleek, modern upgrade that makes both cooking and cleanup effortless. Coolest part is that when you remove a pan that has been cooking, the burner is barley hot. Super safe cooking even for my kiddos.

We recently installed this 30-inch Samsung induction cooktop as part of our complete kitchen renovation, and it looks absolutely stunning. The sleek, minimalist design blends beautifully with our modern kitchen, and the matte glass finish gives it a premium appearance. The induction technology provides fast, responsive heating and precise temperature control. We also appreciate the anti-scratch surface, which is a great feature for everyday cooking. Samsung did an excellent job combining style, performance, and functionality. A fantastic addition to our new kitchen!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The cooktop works well after you find out how to actually use it. They should eliminate the two step selection plus heating process though. It causes a wrong burner to be raised or lowered when you are in a hurry. Also, it's a new technology and has different way of using it compared to traditional gas or electric cooktops. Surprisingly Samsung didn't bother to provide basic operating instructions! Once you get it, the cooktop heats up very fast and uniform. Although many pots need to be changed to be flat bottom. The surface is matte, so the scratches are less and show less. On the other hand, because of matte surface it looks a bit old right out of the box. Guess that's a tradeoff if you don't like to see many scratches.

Hi Hari, Getting the hang of a new Samsung cooktop matters in everyday cooking, and we understand how important it is to feel confident using its features while achieving fast, even heating results. Induction cooktops use advanced technology that heats cookware directly, which is why they can feel different from traditional gas or electric surfaces but also deliver faster and more even results once familiar. You can explore the full guide here: https://www.samsung.com/us/home-appliances/buying-guide/what-is-induction-cooking/ Induction cooking also requires compatible cookware, usually flat-bottom pots and pans with a magnetic base, to ensure proper contact and even heating. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had gas and electric stoves before but what I like about this induction one are the safety features. My wife had the tendency to move a hot pan from the hot spot and would forget that heater on for a while. This one turns off automatically one contact is broken. It also does not heat the surface of the oven as much as the pan itself heats up instead. This means that spills don't make the surface as dirty and can be cleaned up right away. It is worth switching to induction.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We recently remodeled our kitchen, replacing our Bosch cooktop with the 30" Samsung Induction model. After using it for a month, it's quite obvious that we made a great decision. Between the intuitive controls, even heat distribution, rapid response time to temperature changes and the scratch resistant, sleek matte black finish that is very durable and wipes easily, I could not be more thrilled with our purchase. 10/10 would recommend for anyone looking for a new cooktop!

Got this cooktop to replace one i had for over 16 years (we dropped something on it). Its been about a month we have this new Samsung cooktop. The power boost is noticeable, boils things faster. The cooktop surface does seem anti scratch and so far it's been really easy to clean. The controls are a bit too high tech. Could have kept it simpler. Now we have to press a button to turn on the controls, select an element/induction circle, the use a slider to choose power level. (Same slider used for all 4 elements. Switching between elements is slightly annoying. Its a small user interface annoyance. Otherwise the cooktop heats great, looks great and seems like the scratch resistance is good. 5-10 years ago I had multiple Samsung appliances fail after 5 years. I decided to give Samsung appliances another try, hopefully the cooktop lasts as long as my last one.

I’ve had this Cooktop for one months, and it’s absolutely transformed my cooking experience. This is my first time using induction & what blew me away was the speed: water boils in under a minute & controlling the temperature is so precise and responds immediately. Cleanup is also easy - can wipe away messes and the cooktop still looks like new. The matte black finish also looks stunning against my countertops!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A great bsubstitution for an electric stove. Perfect for rapid response both to turn on and off. Intuitive controls. Excellent heat distribution So far no scratches in spite of sliding pans around to ensure the pan is placed properly to enjoy maximum desired heat. Works well given the correct pots used. Very efficient. A little noisy when on maximum heat but after many months of use, hardly noticeable.

I have had this cooktop two years. Used the boost function for the first time and now the cooktop no longer works. It throws an FO user code and shuts down. Very disappointed in this product now. Of course it is out of warranty. Prior to this, I was happy with the purchase, but seeing as how it is only 2 years old and already in need of repair is disappointing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cooktop looks clean and the functions are easy to use. I love the scratch resistent matte finish as it is easy to clean and does not show streaks like my old gloss finish. I thonk i'm going to really like the pause function so i can avoid removing my pot, shutting the burner down, then reversing the process trying to remember where i was.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works and cooks well but a little hard to turn on. Seems you must hold the burner button and do the wave to the temperature at the same time which is awkward and not described in the hard to find user manual Also the material of the top seems to not be as easy to clean as advertised Seems already a bit smudged from the installation

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Coming from a standard glass top electric stove to induction was quite the twist but I’m learning quickly the do’s and don’t the speed to heat is phenomenal but at the same time some of the cast iron stuff needs a gradual rise overall I’m very happy but have some education to gain from this stovetop

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I real like the flexibility with the different size burners. The controls are easy to operate and temperature control is great. The surface is easy to clean and I put a silicon mat on when the stove is not in use. This is my first induction cooktop and I really like the temperature control.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Installation instructions are quick and easy. The controls are easy to use and I like the look of the matte finish, will see how difficult it is to keep clean. Wish the app was more and it should have a better user manual to describe the simmer option. Louder than my previous cooktop.

My wife boiled a pot of water till it was dry and burned the surface. I thought it was ruined after only a month, but I took a magic eraser and buffed out the burn ring. I thought it might come back after use but it's been a few weeks now and looks new again very happy with it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very sleek and modern looking design. The stoves get hot and have plenty of space for pots. It took a little while to be able to figure out how to use it, but as I learn more, I find out more features that can be useful. The material seems very tough and good for long term use.

Very responsive touch control. Digital numbers look better in white or blue. Don’t like the red so much but when it’s off it’s no biggy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very easy to use and heats up quickly, I love it for cooking. You can lock it from your phone so the kids can't use it, which I love the most. The sizes of the burners are the best; it comes with 4, but it's more than enough to cook with all the sizes of pots.

My Samsung induction cooktop (Model NZ36C3060UK/AA) stopped working properly about a week ago. The center burner no longer responds — it doesn’t heat at all, while all other burners work fine. I’ve already tried everything I could: turned the circuit breaker off and on, cleaned the cooktop thoroughly, and let it cool for several days. Still completely dead. After searching on Google and ChatGPT, I found out this is a very common issue with Samsung induction cooktops — apparently, the internal circuit or power board just fails for no reason. This is now the second Samsung appliance to break in only 1.5 years. My Samsung dishwasher already failed and I replaced it with a Bosch — no problems since. I honestly had no idea Samsung made such unreliable appliances. Now I’m worried about my Samsung refrigerator, oven, and microwave too. I’m beyond frustrated and disappointed. I trusted Samsung and replaced all my home appliances with their products, but this experience has been nothing but disappointing. Please let me know if this can be covered under a goodwill repair, or advise on the repair process and estimated cost.
