[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I hate and like this thing. It's nice to lift the unit up to a workable height. It's extremely flimsy and cheaply made. Arrived damaged after backorder so I had to book a second appointment to lift the AIO on top of it because it CANNOT support any weight except on the mount points as that is the only place it is reinforced. Scratches super easy, drawer opens and closes pretty smooth but rattles like an old car. Make sure you level and balance this thing while it's running. I ran the unit on a spin cycle to level the feet out and stop the insane shaking, the install team just put a level on the AIO and left. It's pricey, but it will save your back

But i had to buy it seperately and after getting it, seems like a no brainer and absolutely no one should have one with out the pedistool. Its too deep and low to be comfortably gettin the laundry out without the pedistool..but as for the washing capabilitea it does do a nice job and cleans the clothes good. The dry time seems a little longer than an average dryer but not exteme.

Our previous washer/dryer pedestal was just a pedestal, but no drawer. The drawer makes all the difference as we're able to store most of our laundry detergent, fabric softener, etc inside there. The pedestal also lifts the washer/dryer up to the perfect height so you don't have to bend over so far to get clothes in and out. A simple thing that is very well worth its price.

The additional storage for towels and detergent is nice, and it looks like it is built into the system. It also helps raise the washer door to waist/stomach level for a 5' 9" person to keep me from bending too much to see into the back of it. A bit pricey, but I'm happy I added it.

If you don't have enough people to lift the washer up perfectly straight and put it down gently, pass on this. Left and right sides of mine are crushed in the middle when 2 of us tried to tilt the washer up onto this pedestal.

This product will be crushed by the weight of the washer dryer combo. Hopefully your washing maching doesn’t get damaged in the process like mine did. Samsung will deny a faulty product and won’t even honor their warranty on the washer dryer combo. Samsung doesn’t stand behind their products. Stay away!!

The pedestal makes it much more comfortable when removing and inserting things to wash. The storage is great too. If also looks very elegant. It is only compatible with the AIO. Keep that in mind when buying.

Doesn't fit my Samsung bespoke aio even though it says it does. It's about 3/4 of an inch too short for the legs to fit in where they are supposed to go.

These Combo units need the pedestal with the doors being set so low and all the components of the units at the top of the unit. I would suggest ordering the pedestal with the washer/dryer along with the installation option. To add them after the fact took an engineering feat. Our cabinets were too low to install the pedestals initially. So after raising the cabinets 7” a month later, we added pedestals finally. They get installed the correct way with the washer lying on its side with the travel bolts in place. With space constraints and not wanting to remove them from laundry room again, we opted to lift the units vertically and slide the pedestal under the unit. If you must go this route, these construction jacks do the job although some dunnage will be required. Now we can fit a laundry basket under the door and work clothes standing up instead of sitting in the floor. See Pics. Also note that even with the unit level, there is slightly more wobbling now during some spin cycles (with it being more top heavy.) The pedestals could be more sturdy even based on how easily they dent looking at other reviews. Balance your load best you can front to back when loading clothes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the machine but service is nonexistent. I will only touch on service with this review to complete the story on the product itself. First the machine - installed, calibrated and set up, test wash and then a snag when we attempted first load. Error about 20 min in saying check shipping bolts with no option to get out of error. We quadruple confirmed they had been removed but only option after 30 min call was for the deli/installers to come out. After much back and forth we acquiesced knowing they were not going to be able to do anything. Mind you you this was scheduled for another week out - unacceptable given all the issues we had getting the machine. So we unplugged the machine to stop the beeping and I ran a rinse spin on the load that had stopped. Same problem. After several more attempts and checks I unplugged again, and recalibrated after plugging back in. IT WORKED! After that load we moved the machine back in place - it’s heavy but sliders are awesome - AND recalibrated again. No issues. It does take getting used to putting in and taking out dry clothes. I did validate several times that water was going in and out and the drum was spinning! Having a tank that contains the soap and fabric softener for multiple loads is weird. I can’t tell if it’s using either or how much it’s using. Time will tell on that matter. I have done maybe 12 loads of laundry in the the past 3 days since getting the machine (seriously a whole nother story on delivery (scheduled 4x not once because of us - and oh so much more) so I feel a bit of an expert having done so much laundry and choosing the different cycles. For towels even though I asked for more dry, I still had to do another time dry cycle for them to actually dry. I don’t iron so the fact that some clothes complete more wrinkly than my old machine is something I need to work with. (I do hang and fold immediately) An annoyance I will work through is that I can’t stop the dryer and open the door right away as the machine feels it needs to cool for about 5 min regardless of the length of time it was on. We got black and I love the color. I also love that I have more room in my laundry room! We did not want to introduce more humidity into the house so got the vented version and put the machine where the washer once stood. Our laundry table/basket now sits where the dryer was and you can’t see the dryer vent behind. The machine is relatively quiet. It doesn’t take a lot of extra time to run a wash/dry cycle (<1 hour to about 2 to 2.5 hours). I recommend this machine so far but consider purchasing from your local appliance store where service may be a commodity.
