We bought this dryer for the sole reason of being able to switch the side the door opens from right to left. Upon unscrewing the door one of the screws which holds it was stripped. Samsung refuses to replace the screw, as it is apparently not covered under warranty. The worst customer service I've ever experienced, no one knows what they're doing. If you purchase you'd better hope nothing ever goes wrong with even the smallest or easiest to fix issue. You'll spend days trying to get even the simplest of parts ordered.

Half the time my clothes arent dry and still humid. At least I can manually set time and temp. The worst of all is that you cannot turn off the music at the end. It a 30 second music, the most annoying. I don't know who thought it was a good idea to put a whole song at the end of the process and wake the whole neighborhood.

Dryer was not on the showroom floor at store where I purchased washer and dryer set. Samsung recommends this dryer to match the washer. The washer has a bedding / waterproof cycle setting the dryer does not. Samsung’s website advises drying bedding on low to prevent shrinkage and advises following bedding manufactures directions. ONLY access for low is Timed Dry. Which means no smart sensor operation to minimize over drying. Delicate is factory set at “extra low”. No setting other than ‘timed dry’ dries at low. We have a number of clothing items with manufacturer’s directions to dry on low. The solution for me is to set it at timed dry for 20 minutes and continue to check items. Just FYI. This dryer has a coated drum. There is no interior light. Dryer is basic in function but overpriced for functionality. Would recommend potential buyers explore options.

I bought one of the largest capacity dryers and as far as the performance it works great! I did not see that there was no light inside the dryer and the inside is a dark color. Since it is dark inside and no light you cannot tell if there are dark clothes or towels left inside. It is very frustrating! I never thought that there would be a dryer without a light inside.

Bought the dryer just recently. No one in the store mentioned that this particular model comes without the light inside the drum. My mistake, should have known before the purchase. Not !!! The thing is that only place for the dryer in my laundy room is where the exhaust is. The light is right above the dryer, which means there is absolute dark inside the drum.

The moisture sensor does its job. When the dryer counter hits the final 1 minute, it will sense whether the clothes are dry or not especially larger garments such as towels and blankets. So no need to constantly pull out partial dry clothes and throw back the wet ones.

Got it during Covid as it was one of the few instock, decent drying annoying that the top isn’t level, so you can put anything on it as it all rolls off. The standard dry always needs more time and the lint trap sucks (does a terrible job and is so cheap and flimsy)
