[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this EVO Select in a DJI Avata drone to record pictures and 4k HD video, I was skeptical as "other" performance SD cards have let me down its footage corruption or grainy video quality. This EVO sd card was perfect video quality (in 4k as well) and the pictures are super clear. the size of 512GB is perfect for all day shooting. The SD card is very durable as it's hard to remove the card from the drone, I have broken competitor cards UGH, but the EVO I had no problem being rough with it. When I download the footage to my computer it was super-fast and no corruption. Highly recommend, I have purchased more for Headset and backup to drone.

The transfer rate I believe is ahead of all the other manufacturers, plus Samsung products in general have the reliability and compatibility over everyone else. The capacity and price of Samsung products are sometimes expensive but it is worth paying the extra because of the 5 star reviews on most there products. I personally buy Samsung products for both personal and business use. I Ihave been doing IT Systems Administration for about 20 years and it is my goto brand and I highly recommend Samsung to anyone that ask me about IT products and that are in need of recommendations on any IT gear.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love micro SD card it has the largest capacity it fits everything that I had and I did not need to split it up into several different ones like I had to before and everything transferred fast no problems going from Microsoft computer SD card was so surprised I thought it could only be used with Samsung devices and is not true which was amazing. I have tried other brands of micro SD cards none of them worked as well as this one they did not hold a lot and when I tried the larger capacity micro SD cards my devices couldn't recognize the cards. it was very refreshing to only have to have one card for everything an still have room to spare.

Samsung EVO is an excellent choice here, $$ wize, read/write spreed wise also reslibility if taken care of. too large can be awful tempting. sixty four GBs seems to be about the the money range in my opinion. I like to shoot lots of photos ariel and round town. And media is what these are for. The Samsung EVO brand ive found can fail earlier after multiple formats the higher capacity the you choose. Now theyre not alone. But i reccomend this card and just buy the amount of cards to get more storsge. Its more convenient than one high capacity cards anyway for other reasons like having 1TB fail at full cspacity for 1.

If you have a big app that's very speed demanding then you have to either format as portable and install demanding apps on device only or just not download the demanding app. I found this out the hard way through trial and error. Also if this happens you may need to format just to uninstall the demanding app because even though it won't work it also won't allow itself to uninstall cause its technically in limbo on the sd card. This has only happened with a couple high demand games on android but apart from that it runs stuff pretty good.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this same micro SD card for over 10 years in my galexy tablet. My tablet is now old compared to the SD card. Samsung will no longer connect my tablet through their account anymore, I have the tab A 9.7" tablet. The SD card has deffinately out run the tablet. The SD card still has a decent read/write speed considering the decade long technological advancements we've had since then. Yes it took 4 minutes to transfer 6G of data to the tablet, but look how old the Tab A is! I'll deffinately be purchasing more of this brand, but would like to expand to a higher storage size like a 516. I just wish phones still had expandable memory, made transfers safer and quicker.

I have been looking for a SD card now for a while and I think I found the perfect one.
I love the very fast transfers speeds both from the card to a computer or desktop and from a computer or desktop to the card.
I have been using it in my Samsung TV, Samsung Tablet, Samsung Phone, and Nintendo Switch. I have even used it to watching movies in my car :-)
My wife has also used it for her pro camera and it works there as well. It can hold almost 175,000 pictures.
I will never used another sd card from any other company. I'm sticking to Samsung only for all my needs.

In terms of longevity I have yet to see either series fail over a 3 years for the current product line and even longer for the older lines of the same name. I definitely use the current product line much more heavily. In terms of speed the pro plus is a little bit faster at top speeds but this one is supposed to be more reliable but yet again none of my Samsung SD cards have ever failed yet and I have heavily used them in multiple cameras the last few years while other cards have bad sectors or corruption.

It runs this flawlessly, with no lag. I added a 1 tb nvme (samsung evo 980) drive for other newer console games, so it doesn't hit a data bottleneck, and it worked without any trouble! Data transfer speeds are great for an SD card! I purchased a second one for my tablet, where I download Netflix, Prime, and HBO shows to watch while traveling. I have owned multiple of every size up to 512GB and I have never had a failure of any kind. The Pro Plus has held 150Gb of music on my phone for the last 5+ years of daily use. I've been disappointed time and time again with other brand SD card failures. Although Samsung cards might be lean on the more higher cost side, they are completely justified through reliability and quality. Out of the 10 (64mb thru 1tb) SD cards I've got, not a single one has failed me once.

My problem is that periodically out of the blue all of my photos will disappear and I've got to remove the card install it order to retrieve them, I don't have problems with its speed or Capacity I'm just frustrated that I bought an OEM memory card instead of an after market yet for some reason it continues to act up causing me to have to remove pictures that I can't afford to lose and transfer them to my phone memory which defeats the purpose of having one to begin with. As a loyal Samsung customer with many Samsung products, this memory card has been the one thing that's giving me headaches...

Bought 2 x 512Gb EVO Select cards for my recently purchased Galaxy A15 cell phone and Galaxy S6 Lite tablet. Neither cards were recognized in either device so couldn't reformat or anything! Tried numerous options, forced restart etc, nothing worked. Ended up having to reformat the cards in my Tapo security cameras (LOL) before they were recognized by the Samsung devices... When I inserted one of my 256Gb EVO Select cards into both devices to test (phone and tab) they were instantly recognized. Would suggest a format issue from Samsung.

I purchased this SD card to use with my PS Vita slim. It works well and is compatible with the SD2VITA card. Unfortunately, I underestimated how much storage games would take and how many I would actually want to keep. You should probably go for 128 GB and above just incase. Otherwise, the transfer speed when moving your games from your laptop are quite good, much better than an older memory card I had for years. It's so far been reliable and durable for my purpose. Would recommend

The video quality at 4K for a 20 minute video was perfect in every way no stutter no lag nothing. It also stored superb pictures with no loss of visual detail. With that being said, Samsung Micro SD cards are my "go to" when it comes to media and storing Important files. I know I can trust this product to do what I e asked it to do! Every time I have boughten a Samsung SD card, I format it once and I can insert the SD card into anyone of my phones, AND TRANSFER FILES no problem. In no time my files are sent where I need them , and ready for viewing. Also one thing I do like about them is they have many options to choose from for a size of space like 128g, 512g, 1T and so on. It also comes with the adapter chip so that was a huge plus. Also, it's a great way to add additional storage space to your phone to reduce stress on the processor by having pictures/videos downloaded onto the chip and not your phones internal storage. (we all know how good the quality looks) So using this on a recent trip to Hawaii made it so I didn't have to worry about not having enough memory. This SD Card is also Temperature proof so it can withstand that island heat. Now only if the device I used could have a bigger battery to match the expansive memory this Memory Card can handle. On the flight home I was able to transfer those videos onto my laptop in a breeze and I didn't even worry about it crashing while doing other tasks. The footage I reviewed later looked astounding and made it like I was reliving the trip. Which I don't think I would've enjoyed if I was constantly worrying about the memory being low. Samsung will definitely be my choice of Memory moving forward!

They outlasted my steam deck and have never given me any issues what so ever. I tried using one in a game camera as well but it was too big in memory size so the camera would not accept it, which is no fault of the card. I can't say enough good things about them honestly. But the EVO had a 1tb sd card, I am constant taking pictures and videos, and also loaded up with music while at work on top of documents for work. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I picked up the Samsung EVO Select for my Samsung Galaxy A16 because I was constantly running out of storage from pictures, videos, and apps. Honestly, I wasn’t expecting a huge difference, but it’s been great so far.
My phone recognized it immediately after I put it in, and transferring my files over was really easy. I’ve been using it daily for photos, TikTok videos, music, and downloading apps, and I haven’t had any problems with speed or performance. Everything saves quickly, and my phone doesn’t freeze up like it used to when my storage was full.
One thing I really like is not having to constantly delete things anymore just to make room. I can actually keep my pictures and videos without stressing about space every other day.
Overall, I’m really happy with it. It does exactly what I needed it to do, and for the price, I think it’s definitely worth it.

The fact that it's water, magnet, x-ray, temperature, and drop-proof only cements it as my default choice for storage. I shoot aerial videography

I got it when I was still using my Galaxy A51, loved that phone and still have it. I can't use it on my Galaxy S24 Ultra now, but it's nice to have a small portable 1tb SD card on hand. I have the full-size adapter and also a USB-A adapter as well, I don't know if there is a USB-C adapter to microSD, I should look into that. It's extremely fast, I mostly use it as another backup of my important files, device backups, programs, APKs, etc. I also use it more often than my two 1tb solid states to transfer files from my laptops, as both have a full-sized SD card readers, it seems the transfer speeds are faster. Especially since one of the laptops doesn't have USB-C. It's just real easy to slot the SD card in and then swap it. I usually leave it in the full-size adapter for when it's needed.

I bought this as extra storage for my Note 20 Ultra 5G for extra storage. Once I upgraded to my Fold 5 I used it in my Surface Pro 7 for extra storage. Reliable and I'm now looking at a portable 4TB drive. Samsung just make great products. I'm a Damsung Fan for life. TheSamsung thumbdrive on my key chain is my life saver for backup for client documents I need to print when I'm on the go.

I love it so much I still use it even though my current phone comes with 128gb of storage. I have never had 1 minutes trouble with it even when swapping phone brands and models. All of my data was stored with no issues ever Would buy again if I ever get another device and needed a 2nd

It became very frustrating having to remove it then reput it back in. It would work for awhile then go back and say the same thing after a short time. That's when I decided to buy a Samsung micro SD card. Works great. My phone can hold up to 1 TB SD card. I love that option.

I don't see how because it sees like everything besides my phone that I put it in can't read it or can read it but can't write to it. it is so frustrating and then when I format it it always create no.media file like just weird. Plugged it in and worked as good as the day I got it didnt slow down one bit was still fast and able to store everything i possibly needed to save in it. I use them in all my handheld game consoles extremely fast load times and im able to move item over to other consoles no issues they allow gaming without stutter. Obviously you want to get a Samsung made memory card for a Samsung made device too, and by doing that they will be more compatible, easy to use and they've always lasted past the devices lifespan. The card was plug and play and worked like a charm. I seamlessly transferred my files from my phone to my laptop. I am able to access the card without issues using my desktop and get photos transferred with ease. I love the size of the card and don’t need to change it often. This card is excellent and a great value. I'm a little rough with tech and the 6 Proof Protection is a major plus. I keep my tech for work in my car and this southern heat is not friendly. I appreciate the 10 year warranty, I have not seen anything greater than 5 especially on a memory card. The adapter makes it easier to carry and not lose. The speeds of the card are great, I don't even have time to get my coffee from the kitchen depending the size of the file. This card will be kept like my credit cards, don't leave home without it.

Surprising capacity for a 64gb. And with the adapter, it was amazingly compatible with all my devices. However! The only downside was that eventually both of the ones I had cracked down the middle and were unusable while switching devices

I have about 500 GBs of digital books and comics stored and read/write speeds are great. Easy removal for backup purposes is great option.
