I have transferred a few games from my switch2's internal memory to the card and for 60gb of data, it took about 15 minutes. Booting times for games off the P9 microsd card has been near indistinguishable from my systems internal memory. What helps with keeping those boot up times fast is the thermal guard which keeps the card from overheating. On top of that, I love having the peace of mind that this card will take on everything I throw at it with the 3 year warranty Samsung includes with the card. Would recommend for anyone that wants to increase their gaming experience seamlessly.

It's super fast and reliable, and the download and file transfer speeds seem better than other micro SD cards I've used in the past.
I redownloaded my whole digital collection onto my Switch 2, and everything plays great and loads very quickly even though the games are saved to the card instead of the console. I picked up the 256gb card and maxed it out with my whole digital library, and still have most of my console storage left, so it's a good size for what I need for now. I'll probably upgrade to a 512gb eventually, but loving it so far.

This is a definite buy for me. It's fast and reliable, Samsung has been tried and true in this space. I use their cards for my photography and haven't had any issues. I really apreciate how much faster the Express cards are to normal microSD cards. Having this much storage makes it easy to store my digital game cartridges and not have to worry about not having the games I want when travelling. The install was instant. Also, yes it can work for other applications but the Switch 2 is the one requiring a microSD Express at the moment.

Some photograph well, but when I transfer to the computer, I am sooooo frustrated by how long it takes. I was extremely happy when I tried this card. The speeds were great and it didn't take me 20 minutes to transfer a full card. Time is money and the less time I spend watching a green bar creep across a screen, the better it is for me. My digital camera is prone to overheat on warm days when I am shooting a lot, so I'm looking forward to see if the "Thermal Protection" can help with that.

The Samsung P9 Express microSD Express Card was used to transfer data and used in my camera, with read speeds up to 800 MB/s the speeds are comparable to USB 1 speeds. Data transfer was fairly constant during downloads/uploads. The quality of photos was very nice as opposed to other microSD cards used in the past. The microSD card worked well with my micro to macro adapters for testing. Not being a gamer, I was not able to test this in that manner.
After testing I will purchase The Samsung P9 Express microSD Express Card in the future.

The reiliability i ok but was not reading my games on the switch 2 that i have on the express microsd card 30 seconds later it was show my games the capacity hold most of my switch 2 games that were too big of a storage to hold it on my main storage i didn't need a repair on the express mircosd card the durability might not need to be repair cause the express microSD card was perfect but too easy to get loss and cost more money to get a new one and have to get the games back by a different account that don't have the game

Let me say I’m so thrilled to add this to my Nintendo Switch 2 gaming console. Half the games I own are digital and this express SD card really helps speed my gaming experience up.

Even when my switch was running a little warm, my game loading times were still consistent. I wish there was something more discernable on the packaging to let you know it's a special microSD Express card but if you're someone specifically looking for this card then you know what you're looking at. Performance has been fantastic. Games install quickly, load times are just as fast as the onboard storage. I haven’t seen any stuttering or slowdowns when launching or switching between titles. If I didn’t know there was a microSD card inserted I would have thought the games were installed on the internal memory.
Overall it has been easy to use, and fast enough that I don’t even think about it . If you’re looking to expand storage without sacrificing performance this card is it!

I cannot get into too many details but I can say that any other card would have failed 10 times over but this one stood up to the perils and pulled thru without so much as a lost byte. From the looks of the card, it was toast, all info lost, but once I cleaned it up and plugged it in, boom... Nothing lost, nothing compromised. So I bought 3 more. Thank you a ton!

Of course you'll need one for the new Switch 2 you just bought since all of the new Switch 2 games are massive compared to the previous generation's games. Most microSD cards (that aren't overly priced anyways) don't really go past 200 mb/s while this one hits 800. If you have someone who owns a Switch 2 it would make a great gift.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this on Nintendo Switch 2 and the only game I have is Mario Kart and had zero issues with read/write speed. I realize Mario Kart isn't the fastest and/or most memory hungry game to run so I decided to test with some 4K drone footage with my DJI Mavic. I flew and recorded for 18+ minutes (max on that specific battery at highest resolution) and this was my litmus test. It's high-speed writing test and it passed with flying colors. No lag, no issues, not a blip!
One thing I would have appreciated is a dongle or USB plug in for the microSD card. This is just a standalone microSD card but this is also meant for just game consoles so I get why they didn't include it. After shooting the video footage, I was scrambling to find a dongle of sort to plug into my TV to see how the recording turned out. Had to settle for computer since no dongle/card reader was provided.
But overall, solid microSD card - ample fast for gaming and even high resolution 4K video recording. I'd definitely recommend this!
