I have to say putting it into my PlayStation 5 has really up the speed for upload and download it does help that I have really great internet as well but the lag time is not there anymore for loading of screens things do not take as long as they used to great example is any of the Spider-Man video games the low times used to be a little bit longer now they're super quick the heat sink on it is really well I've had no problems I've had it for about a year now and truly was the best investment I have ever made

But to my surprise it's holding up great I've had it for about 4-5 months now and have had an awesome experience, the SSD is greatly easy to install and then the upload and download speeds for my computer storage have also been greatly improved as well. The 1tb is amazing for a starting off but an upgrade is a must here soon with some of the titles coming out. The look of it is very sleek to it matches very well with most motherboards. Granted if you have the grant sink to match yours bigger plus!

Much more speed and loading seamlessly. Love the sleek on board options then having wires clustering in side my computer blocking air flow. This drive has stayed cool as a cucumber even under heavy usage so temps are never an issue. The throughput on this device is up to around the 14,700 to 14,800 read/write speeds when installed in a PCIe 5.0 slot. This SSD is a PCIe 5.0 card but is compatible with 4.0 [and technically 3.0) as well but note the read/write speeds do go down around the 7,500 range or lower depending on your slot you install it in so make sure you know what your motherboard has to know what proper speeds you should expect. Overall I would 100% recommend this card for any device needing great performance from their SSD!

I didn’t run any specific tests but for my day to day large file transfers and workloads, it has saved me 1-5 minutes of transfer time. After the course of a year I’m pretty sure it’s going to save me hours.
The transfer tool from the Samsung website was also great because I was able to keep everything from the old drive. The cloning process was only one click and was super intuitive. Definitely buying another one when Samsung releases a new gen. Compatible with all my motherboards as well. All x870s and z890s

Very solid product, I bought it as a recommendation from a friend and I ended buying 2. It very reliable, I am using both in my lenovo legion, one is for the OS in general the other to store games. Im know considering buying an M.2 travel NAS with this SSDs as they are very stable, manage cooling very well and very low latency when compared to the other brands like Micron or even SK hynix. Their compatability with all system makes it the perfect memory for all uses. The M.2 SSD delivers high throughput for fast data transfer in all applications; NAS, gaming, homelabbing, ect.

Installed and fresh Windows 11 OS loaded in less than a half hour. While I didn’t realize my current motherboard only has a Gen3.0x4 slot I can’t take advantage of the full speed of the NVME yet until I upgrade it as well. What I was seeing was potentially the max output my motherboard allows. Still impressed by quick boot times. Full cold boot to Windows was about 15 seconds(BIOS takes longer than one would expect, I’ll have to check my settings). Running a browser itself is almost instant. Speed test in pics. Thoroughly impressed either way, and I look forward to the max capabilities in the future.

I have a lot of music that I have as lossless FLAC files, and this drive is able to sort though and transfer them at a ridiculous pace. Being that both of my NVMe M.2 drives are Samsung, I was able to use the Samsung Wizard to transfer all my files and info over easily. I also play a lot of on board games like Civilization, that gets very heavy in the late game, and this drive doesn't skip a beat. Very happy with this drive!!!

There were zero installation issues, drive was recognized immediately and it just works. The Samsung Magician software makes any firmware updates easy and also gives some good insight into the drive's health. I'm getting about 1300 writes per second and a little more than than for read speed with my configuration.
The drive is packaged very securely, it doesn't have a built-in heat sink but I think that's a positive as you can use whatever cooling method you prefer. This is the fastest M.2 Drive I've ever owned and tested. I do own other Samsung drives and they have always been very reliable. I wouldn't hesitate to buy this drive again.

Installation was very simple, and the SSD was immediately recognized by the system. I've been editing 4K video, and the performance is completely smooth, with no lag.
Compared to my previous SATA SSD, the speed difference is huge. I haven't had any temperature or noise issues, and everything works perfectly so far.

I got an email with a deal on the 4tb 9100 pro that I couldn't pass up. Switched from a competitor's 2tb gen 5. The 9100 pro is 30% faster and also stays cooler than the one I replaced. I bought this a few months ago, and so far I've had nothing but great performance. Works flawlessly with my setup, with the gen 5 m.2 ports, just plug and play. Samsung knows how to make quality products for sure. I've tried 3 gen 5 ssd's so far and this one is MUCH better than the others, well over 14000 MB/s, craziness!

I can’t believe the difference in speed when playing my games and even doing productive work on my laptop. The memory I replaced, I thought was fast, but it doesn’t hold a candle to this Samsung memory at all. It’s crazy fast. I have not had one tiny hiccup since installation. My laptop only has one slot for M.2 SSD, so I had to clone the drive in there before installing the new one. It was a piece of cake. The new one went in without a problem at all. I used the packing foil insulation that was on my old one, for my new one, and it went well. I will be buying more to replace the ssd’s in my son’s laptop soon, as he plays games and produces music. He will be happy at the extra speed he gets from the new Samsung SSD.

The leap in performance was nothing short of spectacular. These SSD's ran much cooler than hard drives so it was really a win/win for us. After upgrading the NAS, I ordered one for my personal system, an Alienware. The read performance as well as the seek performance almost made it like a new system compared to the 2 TB drive that was in there. It was nice to see the extra space that was so needed with today's ultra high resolution games. All this and the price couldn't be beat. All around it was an easy upgrade using Samsung's software to migrate the software from one drive to the new SSD. We have one more NAS that will need upgrading and and I still have 2 more open ports to use on the Alienware, so the only drives I'll trust now are Samsungs.

This Nvme is blazing fast in my PCIe gen 5 laptop. Stays pretty cool as well. Had it a few years now and it's still running great with 0 data loss. The one thing I had to do was disable Intel's iRST raid driver and use the default Microsoft driver with Samsung magician software and was completely compatible and saw a big speed increase. I only wish I had bought the 4 Tb instead of the 2 Tb!

Speed is Real: I'm consistently hitting near the advertised 14,800 MB/s read speeds. Large video files and game loading times are instant.

The transfer rate was super fast, especially for the amount I had to transfer. Aesthetically the device is awesome. It's small and thin and can fit almost anywhere you want to store it. I love it.

So far I've had no memory leakage no lag transferring data. Price is a tad higher then other nvme SSD but you can see why immediately once it's installed

Fixing because of the AI driven demand if I didn't seriously need this I would have never paid the tax that open ai and anthropic etc. I think its awful if you can wait it out if you can't samsungs the best in my book

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just received the Samsung 9100 PRO 1TB NVMe M.2 SSD in the mail and immediately installed it into my custom-built PC from last year. Right out of the gate, I could feel the difference. Compared to my previous Samsung 990 PRO SSD, this one is noticeably faster. Boot times are quicker, applications open instantly, and file transfers are smooth with absolutely zero lag.
What really blew me away was how well it handled high-resolution content. I tested several 4K and even 8K videos, and the improvements were significant. Playback was buttery smooth, load times were shorter, and there were no stutters or hiccups, even while multitasking.
The 9100 PRO clearly delivers on its promise of next-generation performance. I'm keeping it as the main drive on my current rig and moving the 990 PRO over to my second PC, which still performs solidly.
If you're considering an upgrade, this SSD is absolutely worth it, especially if you work with high-resolution media or want your system to feel significantly faster across the board.

Obviously large files are fast but the dram cache is awesome for smaller tasks too. I don't even have time to read loading screen tips on modern triple A games because of how fast this is!
