To be honest, I have never really had any issues with any of their products and no, they do not pay me to say this. As far as I'm concerned, a warranty is only as good as the product, and i've never had to use the warranty for anything samsung related. In the end it's up to you, but if you want a superior product with a great history, you can't go wrong with any of their products here.

It transfers reads and writes fast with no issues. I bought it so it would not bottleneck my new CPU hardware. For my OS drive I bought the 990 pro and for my secondary drives I bought the 990 evo's. I haven't done an exact test for read write speeds but I would say they are as advertised. Also prices at the time for these drives were good. Mainly bought the drives for video editing, but I also record music and do some gaming. Works great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well I'm only using this in a PCI Express 3.0 interface, it still is blazing fast performance even when dealing with hundreds of gigs of data and any SLC buffer would be exceeded and yet it's still performs exceedingly well. The only thing that really annoys me is that there's no way to enable hardware encryption without a full fresh reinstall of Windows which I rather not do. Also had a bug with a software with it not wanting to over provision automatically or show my partitions.

I use it for my gaming laptop for extra storage because a lot of popular games are over 100GB. It doesn't take longer to download my games to this card compared to the ssd that came with my laptop and it doesn't make my computer hot either. Failure after failure. Windows will crash. On re-start BIOS cannot find the drive. Samsung support has told me this is a known issue, but they keep replacing the drive - I'm on my 5th one. Time for me to buy a better brand.

Purchase this few weeks ago and it was a replacement for a 2 terabyte steam library drive upgrade to 4 terabytes it's fast it has good trim software for keeping the drive running efficient decreased loading times for games

Purchased 3 of these one for my Ps5 and the one each for my two computers. All 3 drives have been fantastic. No issues on any devices and the speeds are crazy fast. The fact that 4TB can be this small is amazing.

I compared the 990 Pro 4TB with the latest 9100 Pro, and the 9100 Pro doesn't noticeably improve the random read performance. If you are looking for a fast 4TB drive, this is an excellent option.
