[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the Samsung Portable SSD T5 EVO 2TB for backing up photos, videos, and important files, and it’s been a great experience. Setup was quick, and it worked right away with my devices. The drive feels solid and compact, making it easy to carry around without worrying about damaging it. File transfers have been fast and reliable, especially compared to my old external hard drive. The 2TB capacity gives me plenty of room for large projects and backups. Overall, it’s a dependable portable SSD that offers a good balance of speed, storage, and portability. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable external drive.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This little hard drive from Samsung is impressive. I connected it to my cellphone and transferred 303 files in less than 30 seconds. It's easy to use and fast. I did have to use an adapter to connect it to my laptop though. The connecting cable is USB-C on both ends of the cable, but don't let that stop you from getting this hard drive. It's 2 TB in a small pocket-sized device. I will continue to use this drive to backup the pictures from my cell phone. 2 TB is a lot of storage space, especially for pictures. The drive is the perfect weight to carry around in your pocket or purse in case you need to store data or transfer data from one device to another.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a content creator who does everything with my phone. I'm always running out of storage. So to have something so small and portable and packing a huge amount of storage in it is a win! Love how it feels in the hand and I'm not worried about it getting scratched up or falling to the ground if it was accidentally bumped into. So glad that it's a USB-C connection as most devices are now adopting this type of connection into everything. Talking about speeds too, I usually try to shoot my content at the highest quality and for it to transfer over to the T5 Evo it takes seconds! Very much content with the products Samsung is pushing out and here for their future lineups.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I use this drive as my personal library for work that I keep a multitude of files on that I use frequently. The speed of this drive is astonishing! I have recently recieved a new computer that had too small of a hard drive so I keep my former desktop files on the SSD. When searching for some files that I lost track on my PC with its own SSD, it took 10 minutes to complete a search if the full hard drive, the same search on the t5 Evo was instantaneous. The size of the drive is superior to my former external HD and the security exe on the Evo makes my files files more secure than they have ever been. This is another homerun from Samsung! I absolutely love this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using T5 EVO Portable SSD for the past 15 days. It is not only the best portable SSD in the market but also has an excellent read and write speed. It comes it differnt storage options to meet your requirements. I am using T5 EVO to store my pictures and videos and 2 TB space is decent storage size. Another great feature is the ability to password protect the drive to avoid unauthorized data access. It has shock resistant rubber design to protect the SSD if it falls accidently. Overall, it is a compact, secured and well built SSD to save your important data and I defintely recommend it to others.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My T5 has been going strong for almost 4 years now. Reads and writes incredibly quick. I love that it is a true SSD and that it holds so much memory despite no need for an external power source. It's completely silent and it's small size is impressive considering the storage space. I also love that (among other features most portable hard drives) you can password protect it! I've dropped it once or twice and still works as great as the day I bought it, due to the incredible metal build quality even though it's lightweight. Highly recommended. Bought one for my dad 2 years ago.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this 2TB drive for my Bryan about 2 years ago. My pops got sick of my complaining about running out of space in my Xbox. I have a 4yo, so it's been knocked over and clean off my table multiple times and it's never given me a problem. Today's games are only getting bigger too. Now I have it on my Xbox Series X and use it as my, "overflow drive", because Gamepass be like that. 😆 I just made the switch to PC Gaming, and I passed the 2 TB Evo drive down to my son. Now I'm saving up for my next Samsung SSD, something faster, and likely bigger. The T5 Evo is still going strong after taking a bit of a beating and use frequently. There's no doubt I'll be getting at least a T9 as soon as I can afford it. Gaming Laptop life.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using the Samsung T5 EVO 2TB SSD for my car for a couple of weeks and it's been great. I drive a model X which now supports Steam games. Since the onboard memory is not enough if you have a big library of games, having the T5 EVO SSD is perfect. Connection was easy through one cable in the glovebox and formatting took less than 30 seconds. After formatted, I loaded all my games on the SDD and thanks to the 460mb/s read speeds, the games ran without lag or jitter. The drive's construction is solid and it's light while not feeling cheap. The case has a rubber material that is non slip while not attracting finger prints. If you're looking to expand your car's memory, this is an amazing choice. Highly recommended!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A well made and disable drive. I have had it now through 2 computers and out is now in a external drive. The 1st computer I needed more room for upgrade and this came along as the OS drive and never noticed any delay in access or loading any app. It was surrounded by 2 2tb m.2 and 6tb and 4tb hdd. Unfortunately that set up was in a fire that destroyed my home, I found the case afterward amid the debris and the car was charred and makes Curtin and the it was torched, but despite the obvious exposure to extreme heat it never lost a byte of data.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so happy I got this SSD when I did! It was truly a lifesaver since my phone has been acting up. I needed to transfer all my videos and photos over to it.... I have thousands! This transfer was so smooth and quick. I was floored how fast it went. I have a 1TB phone! Probably half filled with photos. I would definitely recommend this little handy device to anyone that is looking. The only one down side I would say is that dust sticks to it easy for whatever reason. That isn't a big deal and wipes off just as easy. Love love love this!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently started using the Samsung T5 Evo Portable SSD, and I am so impressed! I used it on a MacBook, and it was extremely easy to use. I just plugged it in and started transferring files. It has ample storage capacity which is great because I always seem to be running low on storage space. My files transferred over so fast! It’s compact in design and highly portable. I could carry it in my pocket if I desired. I love that it’s durable because I will inevitably drop it. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for external storage.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This thing is eye-popping right out of the box. That probably sounds ridiculous, but there's just something about the texture of the rubber and the metallic top piece that were an instant hit with me. Functionally perfect, so far. I have had not issues while using it with my phone or my computer. I was hoping to add it to my console for some additional storage there, but more would be required than I plan to do for now. The amount of storage is incredible for such a compact drive. Overall, the entire thing is a huge win!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been super impressed with my Portable SSD T5 EVO. It’s small but compatible! Lately I’ve been transferring footage over from my GoPro to the #t5evo because it can handle large file transfers. this is great for content creators or gamers that need some extra storage capacity. I received the 2TB but you can buy 4TB and 8TB. I love that transferring my photos takes less than 30seconds and did I mention it’s drop resistant up to 6 feet! It’s created with shock resistant rubber design. And weighs just over 100grams.

I just had it yesterday. I am surprised that you cannot open the drive if the password is enabled from other PCs without installing the drive software. It is not like other portable drives with pop-up messages asking for a password to unlock the drive. using the drive this way will be limited and not helpful. I do not recommend buying it, and I regret purchasing it, as it was not previously announced that its use was limited by installing the software. I am not going to trust such a product in the future.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm really impressed with the Samsung T5 EVO. The 2TB capacity gives me plenty of room for all my photos, videos, and work files, and the transfer speeds are fast and consistent. It connects smoothly to my laptop, desktop, and even my gaming console with no issues at all. The compact, durable design makes it perfect for carrying around, and it barely gets warm even after long use. It's reliable, super easy to use, and feels like a product built to last. Definitely one of the best portable SSDs I've owned!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow is this little SSD easy to carry around! At just 4" by 2", it goes anywhere you want it to and fits in any personal accessory that you might have. It also weights about the same as 2 eggs, which is almost nothing (100 grams). The SSD design is also almost 4x faster than your normal HDD when it comes to data transfer and writing. The "up to" 460 MB/s is insanely fast if you are an average file user. It might actually take you longer to find the SDD in your drawer than it would to copy the info from location to location. Also, it is tough - both in design and security. This thing is drop resistant up to 6 feet while having military-grade security with its 256 AES Hardware Encryption. This is a mighty little device that can be easily used for work, personal or other reasons.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For someone as clumsy as myself this product is excellent. The durability is incredible. I didn't realize it had fallen out of my purse and bounced into a puddle underneath my tire. I didn't notice until I had backed up over it and saw it lying there. It still worked perfectly and only had a few minor cosmetic scratches. The amount of storage is great and there are several products to choose from if you need more or less. There's something for everyone. I highly recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung Portable SSD T5 EVO is definitely a device I needed in my life. I am obsessed with this SSD device and how quick and easy it is to use. I was able to clear out 11k photos and videos from my iPhone and store them in this tiny Portable SSD device freeing up years worth of storage space in my phone and laptop. This is definitely a game changer especially if you are the type of person to take millions of photos and videos and have no where to store them. The Portable SSD is truly portable and small enough to take on a trip without taking up any space in your bag. It’s so convenient and simple to use and also knowing it’s a Samsung product you already know it is meant to last a long time. Samsung only makes the highest quality products and the T5 EVO portable SSD definitely did not disappoint!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband got the T5 EVO Portable SSD for our car and it’s greatly expanded the memory capacity so that we can play games and not worry about deleting saved camera footage. The SSD has great speeds and worked by plugging only one USB C cable. There was little set up other than formatting which took less than a minute. The read and write were extremely fast and we never had to buffer or wait for games to load. I highly recommend this SSD for your car gaming needs!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As if now I'm currently getting 30mb a second upload to the T5 on a back up of my jukebox music library of 153 gb, 40,014 songs it says it will be completed in 2 hours and 15 mjnutes , my computer only has usb-a so I had to purchase and wait for the usb-c adapter hence the delay in the review, what's nice is this unit is compact can fit in your pocket and has a password protect option which everyone should use, so I would recommend this for music and photo backups.

If something were to go wrong with the game system, I could unplug it and plug it into a new one with ease or plug it into his computer. The upload and download takes no time. The sleek design of it helps with space management. The frame is also built well for its size. Easy to put in a backpack and go. Very strong recommendation for this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Upon opening the package, you can feel that the built quality of the Samsung T5 EVO Portable SSD is really nice, feels nice in hand, too. Further inspect the product, you notice that the material is really nice. It's USB Type-C connection, the upload speed is really fast, you can also plug it into your smartphone as an external storage room or if you need to transfer all the photos or documents from your smartphone to an external drive, this SSD can will be able to do so. And did I mention that this Samsung T5 EVO Portable SSD is 2 terabytes? The size of the Samsung T5 EVO Portable SSD is really small so, it's easy to carry around with you. Overall, I really like the Samsung T5 EVO Portable SSD, another superb product by Samsung. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow, this is an impressive option for portable storage. It's amazingly small, fit's easily in the palm of my hand. As you might notice from the uploaded picture this drive is unfortunately a bit of a dust magnet, lol. It doesn't affect performance however. The file transfers are fast. The ability to securely encrypt files is a big bonus, especially if you intend to keep business or financial files stored on this drive. This is a great tool for moving files between devices as well as keeping important files backed up. The only thing that would improve this is to include a USB C to USB A adapter as this only connects via USB C and not all computers have available USB C ports. I'm able to connect this to my desktop, laptop and phone using the USB C so I haven't determined if there would be any decrease in file download/upload speeds using a USB C to A adapter.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently had to migrate the data from an old computer onto a new one. Using the Samsung T5 EVO USB drive made the process so much more enjoyable. Luckily the new computer has USB 3 and its own internal SSD. The transfer of files is fast and silent, no more clunky CDROM drives needed to install the OS, and no more noisy spinning hard drives. Copying the old files over is quick too, and since this portable SSD drive has a ton of capacity I can just leave everything on there as a backup too, and still have plenty of room. The new computer was up and running in record time, it felt very high-tech doing all of this so quickly and silently. This drive also has protective rubberized coating that feels good in the hands, and the status LED is actually useful, showing different colors and blinking to show when it's safe to unplug. I tried out the included software, it was fine for what it does, includes the basic necessities. Overall I really like this drive, I love that I can have so much storage space and just keep it in my pocket.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Portable SSD T5 EVO 2 TB USB 3.2 Gen 1 (Black) Portable SSD T5 EVO 2 TB USB 3.2 Gen 1 (Black) Portable SSD T5 EVO 2 TB USB 3.2 Gen 1 (Black) Portable SSD T5 EVO 2 TB USB 3.2 Gen 1 (Black) Portable SSD T5 EVO 2 TB USB 3.2 Gen 1 (Black) I bought this a month ago and I’m so happy I did. The Samsung Portable SSD T5 EVO 2TB has been a game-changer for my storage needs. It’s incredibly compact and lightweight, making it perfect for carrying around with my laptop or slipping into my bag without even noticing it’s there. Transfer speeds are fast and reliable thanks to USB 3.2 Gen 1, and I’ve used it for everything from backing up important files to editing videos directly from the drive—with zero lag. The build quality feels solid and durable, and I love the sleek matte black design. Another thing I really appreciate is how easy it was to set up—literally plug and play. Samsung’s included software for encryption and password protection adds peace of mind too, especially when handling sensitive data. If you’re looking for a dependable, high-capacity external SSD, I highly recommend the T5 EVO. Definitely worth every coin.
