I've been shopping around for new thumb sticks for a few months. All of mine are old, slow, and low capacity. Enter: THIS! First off, let me say that this memory stick is small. However, the build quality is fantastic. The exterior is metal which I wasn't expecting. Secondly, let me say that the speeds are soooooo much faster than the memory stick I've got. It performs 10x (sometimes more) than what I have. The third and final thing that makes me happy about my purchase is the warranty. I can't speak for others but knowing I've got a 5 year warranty completely solidified this deal. I am a very happy customer.

I was looking for a flash drive compatible with my smart TV so I can pause live antenna TV. The problem is, the TV operates on USB 2.0. This Samsung flash drive is backwards compatible to 2.0, and I was hoping it would do the job. It's a Roku 50" 4K UHD TV, that requires a USB 2.0 16GB 15mbps read/write speed. This flash drive I like, it seems to be good quality, but it's just not quite fast enough on 2.0. It works but the video gets out of sync with the audio. I have to keep switching the TV to another channel and back to get it back in sync.

It's by far the best flash drive I ever had. so fast and works so well with my galaxy. It's small but not to small, that I'll lose it and looks great. Could tell it's a strong build that I don't have to worry about getting damaged. Can hold so may videos and pictures I'm not any were near full capacity! Samsung will forever be my go to for any devices I need and they have, price will never be the factor because the quality is always there!

I am used to the cheap plastic feel of other brands but the Samsung Bar Plus is solid and doesnt feel like it will break or fall apart if dropped. I like that it is also waterproof and I found out that it really is after my drink fell over on my pants. It is fast and I actually had to create a USB restore drive and I was expecting that it would take awhile but it was ready to go in under 10 minutes. Great price for what you get.

Die äußere Verarbeitung sowie Farbgebung und Materialwahl dieses metallenen USB-Sticks ist wirklich gelungen. Dieser fühlt sich sehr hochwertig an. Die Funktionsweise weiß zu überzeugen - in unserem Fall wird der Stick als Host für ein Unraid-System verwendet. Hier kommt es auf eine hohe Qualität des Speichermediums an. Der Speicher ist wie angepriesen, die Leserate kommt ganz knapp nicht an 300MB/s ran. In unserem Test waren es knapp 292 MB/s - wir haben nun aber auch kein Profisystem dafür aufgebaut. Wenn die "innere" Qualität des Sticks genauso ist wie die äußere, gibt es keinen Grund zur Beanstandung - vor allem für den Preis, welchen Samsung selbst dafür verlangt. In unseren Augen - ein guter Job, ein gutes Produkt. Wir haben noch einen 2. Stick als Backup, hoffentlich wird er lange nicht gebraucht :)

I purchased over 80 different sets of flash media for testing to determine the best/falsest/most cost effective for use in a very large deployment of new systems. the Samsung Bar Plus line tested the best accross the board. i would recommend that strong consideration be given to the 128Gb version. the increased transfer speeds are well worth the few additional dollars. That being said, the 64Gb drives performed flawlessly and held up for the deployment.

Well now I've cleared it out and only this one sits in there. It is very fast, im hitting about 200-250MB/s constantly. Its very small and does not have a light on it, so it may be easy to lose for some, so just be mindful of that. Other than that, i am entirely happy and love my new USB stick!

I recommend keeping it on a keychain/keyring to keep from accidently losing it. It plugs right into my galaxy device with zero issues. I was able to back up everything on my phone within moments. I do wished there was a light showing when it’s working but overall it’s very attractive and works well. I’ve done some testing for shockproof, waterproof, magnet and temperature proof. This Bar plus is the best usb i have come across. Its super fast, leaving all the other usb drives behind, its resistant to everything: I carry this on my keychain for many years now.. Never had an issue, it has been dropped countless times, been wet, been left in the heat and just lived its life beside pointy metal keys., But still works 100% all of the time! Just dont bother with anything else!

The drive has failed after one month of very occasional use. I purchased the drive via RS Components at the end of July 2021. The drive can no longer be detected by the pc. The drive is also too tight fitting in the USB ports. I’m sending the unit back to RS Components and will not be looking for a replacement, I cannot trust the device. Process Automation Business User.

I have been using these as backup storage devices for small files. I was happy with them but 2 have now failed and I cannot access the stored data. Errors are Device Descriptor Request Failed and Set Address Failed, I have tried to navigate the samsung warranty pages but these devices do not show up in the drop down listing under the registration pages.

Use this as a second drive on a Chromebook Plus Gaming deck from Lenovo and it is a great addition. Small size looks more like a USB dongle than a 512 GB functional drive. this product worked great for a couple years, then one day the transfer rate got horrible, and the next time i plugged it in, it caused my computer to lock up due to endlessly trying to load the drive. the drive also began getting very hot when plugged in; good thing i had the files backed up elsewhere!

This usb is a great choice, I am using mine for school, and it seems to be fine, I have found it to be a bit slow at times, reaching 20 MB/s, and for some reason usb does not really fit into my usb port on my lapton, is there any way to check if this product is real or fake?

I’ve been using the Samsung BAR Plus (512GB) for a while now, and I couldn't be happier with it. As someone who is constantly moving files around for my work, I needed something that wasn't just fast, but actually tough enough to keep up with me. ​The first thing you notice is the build quality. It’s all-metal, feels really solid in your hand, and doesn't feel like it’s going to break if it gets tossed in a bag or dropped on the job site. The performance is just as solid—transfer speeds are impressively fast, which saves me a ton of time when I'm dealing with large batches of photos or project files. ​It’s small enough that it doesn’t get in the way, and the built-in keyring loop is a huge plus because I don’t have to worry about losing it. It does get a little warm during heavy transfers, but that’s expected with a metal drive that actually works this hard. ​If you want a flash drive that looks sharp and is built to last, this is definitely the one. It’s been rock-solid for me, and I’d buy it again in a heartbeat. Highly recommended!
