I love the C connector for my 256 GB USB flash drive because very simply it saves a step from using an adapter as well as it's durability.
I work with a lot of large sound systems and they have giant magnets which have ruined my flash drives time and time again.
This one holds huge amounts of data as well as having been dropped in a fryer full of catfish nuggets and after drying it out, it still worked like new!!!
Actually, I have 7 of them because I want all my personal data backed up in them and the one I got from work in the first place is still going smooth after lots of abuse and rewriting and formatting every other day.
No problems ever!!!

Well I can't say I wasn't disappointed, having the little usb c flashdrive has been awesome. It has honestly without sounding like a infomercial, been the best thing I bought, I could bring it just about anywhere and for those who have a phone case with the two little holes on the side id recommend attaching it there so that, 1 you could have it at easy access and 2 so it could stay safe and in sight cause lets be honest it is pretty small. Overall if your on the fence with it just buy it already.

I thought I was going to leave my phone for a bit transferring 50 gb from phone to this storage stick but call of duty hadn't even finished loading up when I looked over and it was done... I triple checked because I really couldn't believe it.. and no I'm not gaming on dail up when it comes to internet I will always get the fastest for my gaming addiction, and now that I can transfer my gaming videos quicker than I can restart cod I'm always going to use these usb c memory sticks.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought two of these flash drives in the 256gb flavor, over a year ago. On one of the the usb-c connector. So data still intact just need to solder a new male port on and good to go. The other one still going strong I dont keep anymore than half of the capacity for longevity. I get transfer speeds up too 125mbps sometimes but 99% of the time I get 90-100mbps. Would have been 5 star if the port on one didnt fall off. I recommend these if you do get them on sale.
Also recommend getting a 10gbps usb-c to usb-a adaptor came in handy
It should com with lanyards and the cap shouldn't come off the case very easy to lose.

My flash drive was provided by my employer, for the SAFE keeping of client medical/health records. I LOVE this device SO MUCH that I named it. His name is "Know It All" because he literally does 😂
The convenience of having important vital information at my fingertips any given moment, and without having to carry around multiple heavy folders is enough to fall in love with on its own. My FAVORITE about this device is when I need new records emailed to me I simply request them, pop this baby in my laptop and save the info right from the email. No need for a printer or expense if ink, copy paper or added utility cost.

Both being samsung products took the capatibility worry away and with it being type-c i didn't need a computer or another device as an additional step to the storage which was beyond convenient. The 64GB gives me plenty of space for photos, videos, and random files, and I like that I can just plug it into my phone or laptop without messing with adapters. Purchased to save photos and content off my brothers PC after he unexpectedly passed away. His PC was something he cherished and had built himself and as such would have wanted it to be handed down to a relative that'd appreciate it as he did. I'm able to store all of my photos and videos on there. I'm able to plug it into my phone, transfer data over, and it's super fast. Including video! And then I can plug it into the computer, and transfer data onto it there! I for video editing or photography that you do with the phone, this is an excellent product. Because it can even hold the finished product. I'm very pleased with it, and hope they release a 1tb version sometime soon.

I purchased this in July and placed it on my Keychain about a month later, being that is is advertised as waterproof and portable that seemed like an intended use. I noticed the cap would come off on my pocket fairly often but hadn't been an issue. What has become an issue is the back plate of the drive came undone and the entire drive came out of the enclosure and thus becoming lost. If you are planning on using this as a portable drive I would recommend super gluing the back plate ahead of time else risk losing the entire drive, along with its contents.

This flash drive works wonderfully. It reads and writes data exceptionally fast, and works with every device Ive used it with so far. It also reliably keeps file names the same instead of re-writing them as random assortments of numbers as other drives Ive used in the past have. Also being type-c, Im able to easily use it to transfer data to and from mobile devices. It beats transfer speed of every other form of portable media I have in SD or USB format (except an NVMe inside a nice enclosure). I get a nice consistent rate over 400MBs with average files and barely dips with super complex large volumes. Even though it's barely slower than an NVMe in a good dock, it has this amazing ip68 water-resistant feature that has saved this drive for me many times over. Realistically we aren't talking about dropping it in water, I'm talking having it inside your pocket all day working and sweating through your clothes. Even accidentally ran it through the washer once on full cycle. No problems. I just wish I could own a few dozen of them.

Only thing that could be improved is adding set up instructions. Because I didn't know how to get my phone to show the flash drive when I plugged it in. After some frustration and time I found out that it'd have to be formatted to the correct file type before it could be used with my phone.
Once I found that out it was super easy and fast to do like less than 2 minutes. And it works flawlessly

I used it on firestick for a while before replacing my tv with a android tv which gave me tons of storage. Then this USB saved me when I built my computer. The motherboard didn't have updated drivers for the wifi , so I plugged this USB into my S23 ultra and downloaded the files needed and it fixed everything. Now I keep 2 laying around because I've found so many uses for these .

I bought this product a while back and couldn't be happier. I like that I no longer need an OTG adapter to carry around extra memory for my S24 Ultra. I loved the Note 9 with it's OTG adapter included, but products like this one make the need for such additional hardware virtually obsolete. While cheaper options are available I like the rapid read and write speeds, it's so fast it seems like there is no difference between read and write. Will buy again! Five stars

I ordered this back in November. The fact that I had to order this in the first place because samsung is to cheap to put the same speed reader in their phones any longer is utter and complete garbage and a money grab by samsung! The tech is there obviously if you can sell this device for that price and the phones can read it at reasonable speeds using the USB c port they could make it inside the phone and give us back our internal expandable memory. 8k photos and videos take up way to much space to only have 256gb internal storage.
This drive is fast compact and quite frankly easy to lose lol.
Just recording my best friends wedding and only the vows in 8k everything else in 4k and it took almost 100gb of storage! Combine that with the apps used daily and there is no more space on the phone. This external memory and money grab by samsung is required!

If I had an issue, it would be the tiny cap that comes with it. The entire package is tiny, and the cap is even smaller. There are small loop holes on both the item and the cap, but it's so small that not much will fit through it. I ended up using some thick hobby thread to tie the cap to the device so I won't lose the cap. Of course, it is probably fine to use without the cap.

Product did not cracked but the part that small hole to hang on something broke. Would love it if design is more practical to carry around. While minimal size design is praiseworthy, it's not practical to carry it because it's too small and fragile to carry it with your keys. Otherwise, excellent product

It seems to move rather quickly. It moved around 243 photos and videos in under a minute, so I believe that's pretty quick. The only feature I wish it had was some way to keep the cap attached. Maybe have a magnet in the cap and in the bottom of the drive so that way they'll click together.
But other than that, no regrets. 😎

I've purchased off brand cards before off off sites I will allow to remain nameless but the off brand cards do not record nice clear sharp pictures and videos like the Samsung cards do, there is no comparison. I have been using the USB type c flash drive for a while and it has been reliable so far. The 512 GB capacity is genuinely useful and the transfer speed has been good for everyday files like Photo, Video and documents it feels compact and easy to carry and the blue finish looks clean. I was able to get all my stuff when I sold my laptop and still had room for more. The speed was average but no complaints. I was not sure about virus and if it could pick it up from the infection but it didn't so my files are still protected. This Flash drive is everything I didn't know I needed. For starters, Samsung claims 128GB of storage and upon checking I can confirm that it does indeed allow storage up to 128GB. Wow. Loving the type C connection, I'm fan girl obsessed with the design and compact size. However, after a while the cap that protects the USB Type-C end of the drive starts to fall off very easily. The storage capacity is more than enough for what I need—mostly moving large video files and keeping backups of work projects. Transfer speeds are noticeably faster than the older USB 3.0 drives I’ve used, which saves me a lot of waiting time when copying big files.
The build feels sturdy without being bulky, and the compact size makes it easy to keep on a keychain or toss in a pocket. I also like that it uses USB-C, since most of my devices are newer laptops and phones that don’t even have standard USB-A ports anymore.
