Poorly designed product with subpar performance of the hood fan. Doesn't suck normal water vapour from boiling water on the cooking range. We had a GE Profile that worked really well over 12 years . Tried this and will have to dispose it as it's wrecking our house with all the grease build up. Will never buy Samsung again

I bought this microwave a couple months ago. It works amazing. The sensor cook option is great. The defrost option finishes perfect. It also let's you know on your phone or samsung tv when food is finished. It's sleek and the hidden handle is a great feature too. The soft touch buttons all work with no issues. I installed it myself. It was an easy replacement. Just one bracket on the back then your two bolts on top. I deffinately recommend this microwave.

Short time since purchase of the microwave. Would be NICE to receive some kind of guide or manual for the cooking options. NO- so run to computer and drag up the ONLINE MANUAL to see cooking time, or other info i might required.....shabby. Unless mine was missing!!! Same size as old other brand, which could fit a rack and have TWO levels. Not in use alot but find it accomodates.

This unit has HORRIBLE touch button interface. Specifically the Fan and Light buttons. When you want to turn the fan off you need to: Press, wait 1 second, Press again, wait 1 second, Press again, wait 1 second, Press again, wait 1 second, and if you press one extra you have to do it all over again. WHY? If you are putting debounced capacitive touch buttons, make sure I only need one press to turn the fan off not 4.

You can control this microwave using voice or SmartThings, large capacity for your meals, plenty of settings for various meals, easy to clean and finger print resistant. As mentioned in the title, you are unable to use the timer and microwave at the same time. I called Samsung and confirmed. My last few microwaves, all Samsung, were able to do this function. How is this not a basic function in 2025. The microwave itself works well, but had I known about this basic function, I would have chose a different model or brand.

Buyer beware! This microwave has LED circuit bulbs that have no option to change the lighting to "soft white". So if your kitchen has soft white lighting, you will have a hospital/bright white style lighting, that won't go with the rest of your kitchen. I would have returned this product, had it not been installed prior to knowing this. I thought we could at least change the bulbs. Nope, Samsung put a circuit bulb in with no replacement available to switch to "soft white". Forget about using "Smart Things" if you have an older phone. Mine is a Samsung Galaxy S8 with Android 9. Completely capable of running software like "Smart Things". Nope, now I need to upgrade my phone to use this feature, (*along with the Samsung dishwasher we bought). So add a $1500.00 phone on the appliances we just bought, to get the full capability. The hood fan is really loud, and I'm not sure why there is a 1-4 speed feature. Use 1 or 4, there is no audible difference between the others. So, HI and Low. I regret not going with LG.

I am happy with my 2.1 cu.ft Over the Range Microwave. I recently purchased a townhouse that desperately needed a new microwave. An over the range is new to me. The fan is quite noisy when on #4 but is acceptable at #1 or 2 range. I usually leave the light on low for the evening and have a hard time seeing where to finger print off when the kitchen is dark. i find I need to turn on my kitchen light in order to see the very small icon. That's minor compared to my overall satisfaction.

I bought and installed this a month ago. The feature are a bit counter intuitive, I wish it had one touch reheat for example and lights on the buttons for nighttime. Overall it heats food well, the exhaust fan at 400cfm is great and the stove light is bright for stovetop cooking but next time I’d look for a unit with lights on the controls. The exterior is sleek and looks good and isn’t hard to keep clean.

I bought this microwave just over month ago, new model but needs lots of things must consider, for customers expectations. 1, Door noise very loud, whenever you close or open, just likes you shutting the truck door.. 2, Noisy when running, more than other models. 3, Dark black glass display, make unable to read or operate microwave without turning on lkitchen ights. I bought the 2.1, installation was straight forward. Unit has a prestige appearance, always clean without any finger prints.
