Samsung should really pull this case off the shelf. It's disappointing that a company like Samsung carries and sells this product to its customers. This leaves me to beleive that they are not doing a great job at quality assurance and not listening to these reviews. I wish I had looked at these reviews before purchasing this case for $80. A case that's categorized as rugged should not fail after 5 months. I even contacted Samsung care department and the response I received from a manager was opposite of what you expect from customer care department.

Plastic Camera hump paint wore off in just under two months. Now there is an ugly white spot on the bottom right edge that contacts surfaces the most. Haven't even placed the phone on any unclean or rough surfaces. Only wooden tables or granite counter tops. Really disappointed this is marketed as "rugged" when the paint cant even last even half a year. On top of that its not even black as stated, and the colour grading of the product photos are misleading. Phone protection is good, but im sure there are cheaper, better looking, and better quality third party cases. Expected much better from an oem case.

Not rugged at all. Started peeling less than 6 months and no longer under warranty. I used to get their military grade cases all the time. This is definitely a downgrade and it no longer has a built in kickstand.

I am very dissatisfied with my supposedly high-quality Samsung case because it deteriorated after 6 to 7 months of normal use. This is very disappointing, especially since Samsung tells me that it's no longer covered after 6 months and not covered for accidents or cosmetic issues. This doesn't seem to be the case here.

This is a bad case...got just a month and the cover is ripping off and I tried applying glue but it's not holding and right now...both side is ripping off. S22 cover is way better. I do not recommend.

First disappointment when I opened the box as it states the color is " black" but its more Grey. But now after 6 months of gentle use...(I also keep my phone in a neoprene pouch to avoid scratches and wear)... the trim along the front side of the phone case has pulled apart!! This is my first Samsung brand case and likely my last. I have had Otterbox cases last years. Given all the other reviews I see on here... obviously a product malfunction. Disapointed.

Case is high quality, but the colour is not "black" by any means. Photos on the site look far darker than it actually is. Still a very nice case with great protection.

The colour on the website is very misleading. The case ended up being a grey-ish dark blue, ends up making it look very business vibey. No where near black as describe or even close to what it looks like in the photos. It is an alright colour, but the pictures and colour naming is very misleading. Wish this was described better. Protection wise I am very happy with it. The camera lens ring helps raise the main camera lenses about 1mm when placed on a flat surface. Front has nice raised lip protection too (maybe about 2mm?), however this does make it a bit difficult to quick-switch apps when using gestures, and theres no setting to make that more sensitive. The sides are moderately grippy, more grip than no case The hole for the stylus is alright, i wish it was a bit wider, but maybe its for the best. This would have been a 4-5 star if they just got the colours right on the product photos...
