Having used the Tab S7+/S8+Cover which was a 'one piece book cover' and was excellent in my opinion (lasted 3 years of daily usage and still looks new), the new S9 Book Cover may look elegant at the outset but has its draw backs. Firstly the angle of viewing both landscape and portrait is too acute that you need to lean back when using on a lap to get a good viewing angle. Secondly, due to the detached nature of the two parts, the bottom tends to come loose at the slightest of impact with something and has the potential to drop on the floor and get damaged. i would have expected Samsung to test products rigorously before going to market. Cannot comprehend why they would change a design that has worked very well for them in the past 3 years, and just change for the sake of making a change.

I bought this along with a new S10+. Shipping was unbelievable quick, and I was happy to unbox my tablet and snap on my new cover. The tablet is great, but this case feels like a complete design fail. I am a little in disbelief that this is Samsung's official solution for their premium Tablets. The magnets are reasonable good at keeping the back and cover in place, but can shift and fail if you are handling the tablet, opening the case, or using the stand. The front and the back do not align - it looks like a child designed this. It feels like it is a clunky production prototype, not a final product. The color difference between the front and back could have worked, but really just emphasize how poorly the two parts connect. Then there's the back 'bubble' for the s-pen. It prevents the tablet from lying flat on a desk or other work setting. It's cheap plastic. It pops in and out. I don't get it at all. Unfortunately I didn't notice that Samsung won't accept return of an open case, so I'm stuck with trying to offload this on Marketplace. Very disappointed with this product and experience.

Is good looking but the edges are extremely delicate and after just two days of usage the edge I was using to open the cover to use my brand new tablet is starting to bend and the glue holding the screen protector is visible on that side. Not recommended, look somewhere else.

I bought this on sale. I don't think I would have paid full price. It's a great cover. Magnets are strong. It's sleak and slim. The pen cover is great and the stand works really well. It is quite expensive but it's better than any other case I've tried!
