I bought a Samsung S21 plus a month ago. The USB C cable was fraying after 2 weeks of use. I contacted Samsung and was informed that it is not covered under warranty. I do not recommend this cable.

Have kept the cable in my car for a bit more than a year (in the central console of a Canadian Mazda3, that never gets hot.to the touch), since I needed a much longer cable (a Samsung fast-charging USB-A to micro-USB + generic micro-USB to USB-C tip) to reach all the way from the Samsung "Dual Super-Fast Car Charger" (60W, same order, also in central console) to the phone holder. When I first tried to use it though, ~18 months later, it didn't work. It has never worked. The cable still had its original, rubbery-but-not-elastic black band around it, and thus had not even been "un-bent" yet. Visually and externally, the integrity of the entire cable (incl. connectors) is perfect, and connectors are still tight when connected. However, no power goes through the cable. Not a single electron. And mind you, this is: - a genuine cable (bought here, direct from Samsung in March 2021) - trying to charge a Samsung Galaxy S10e (which otherwise charges without problems) - with a genuine (same purchase order as the cable) Samsung USB-C car charger (part #EP-L5300XBEGCA). So yeah, not really thrilled by the quality for the price I paid.

The original cable came with my phone survived for 3 months after that I purchased one more and I started having issues with that after one month. It's been 18 months since I purchased my phone. And I am using fifth charging cable.

Hi, the reason why these people are giving bad reviews is because they dont treat the charging cables right, when i charge my phone i dont touch my phone if you do then the wire gets twisted back and fourth, just dont touch the cable, i have my charger for 2 years and nothing wrong with it, as long as you dont touch you phone while charging then it will be good, lots of my friends twist and treat the cable like its unbreakable cmon people , treat the charger good and it will last forever. Thank you samsung .

This cord is bad. I got a new phone from them 1 year ago and it came with this stupid cord. No damage to the cord at all. Literally none. It just stopped charging my phone. I know it's the cord cause I borrowed another and it works just as well. don't waste your money

Cable came with the phone. It bent at the head and broke after accidentally dropping my phone. I also hate how it needs a special plug to work. The charger isn't as fast as when I first got it either. Barely have had it for 10 months

This cord is a piece of trash. 8 months into my new Samsung Galaxy S23, the cord no longer charges my phone as it should. I have to manipulate it to get it to charge, and even then, it doesn't stay put. This will soon stop working at all, and I don't want to get another piece of trash product only for it to happen again. Samsung, fix your products!!

The cable that came with my phone lasted two months then the wires inside shorted and it no longer charges my phone. The USB A to USB c will charge my S25 but it takes a very long time. This one is fast, but the quality is poor. I also want it longer but they don't make it. Off market ones don't work.

Best charging cable works great with the 60w adapter and charges my s26 ultra with superfast charging 3.0. The price is a steal i couldnt find it cheaper anywhere else. I will definitely be telling my friends and family.

This cable USB 2.0 data speed is only up to 480 Mbps. I was informed by Samsung agents that this cable transfer data 10 GBps. Specification doesn’t clarify data speed. Only regrets remain.
