Was the first to review the 32” 2023 M8, and looks like also for the new 27” version. To be honest, I wasn’t aware there would be a 27” model, otherwise I would not have bought the first one. 32” is slightly too big to use as a work monitor for me, but it was perfect for watching movies. Sold the 32” and very happy with the 27” model so far. 4K resolution at the smaller size is noticeably clearer. This VA panel has great contrast ratio, brightness, and accurate color. Still suffers from VA black crush, but still a fraction of the cost of OLED panels. It’s great for watching movies in the dark, which is own reason I’ll never buy an IPS. I only wish it had more than one HDMI port, or a DisplayPort. It has not 3.5mm audio, so you are forced to use Bluetooth speakers, usb speakers or hdmi soundbar. The built-in speakers are inadequate. This is one of the few monitors I’ll use without a monitor arm, as I love the stand and how it hides cables so well. Though it’s nice that these newer models do support 100x100 vesa. I do feel it’s a bit fragile to use with a monitor arm as well. Wish it was made of better quality material, as it feels a little cheap. Hopefully we can get a plain black option with improvements in the future? Would consider upgrading then

A lot of great features, awesome video quality but awful audio. The built in monitor speakers audio quality is very poor . The audio sounds distorted after increasing volume level above 25. I’ve tried all troubleshooting steps I saw in the support center but still have the same issue . I’ve even maxed out the bass and there is zero bass coming from the audio and sounds 100% treble no matter what I adjust. Highly disappointed as this is the second monitor I’ve bought from Samsung and compared to my Samsung 27" Curved LED Monitor LC27F591FDNXZA that I bought in 2016, has 100 percent better audio quality compared to my 2024 monitor.

Pros: - monitor is aesthetically pleasing and looks expensive. -Slim design -Interface is nice and neat. -Work as a media streaming. -For Advanced features use pc with usb c cable. -Usb c supports power(charging) and data transfer. -my bluetooth keyboard+mouse usb is plugged into the screen. Avoids me to plug into each device. -I use mostly the screen mostly for work. two apps running side by side works just fine. It is similar to having two 24in monitor(personal opinion). Cons: -VA panel ( i can’t complain for the price) - microsoft 365 does not work anymore for me - webcam quality is questionable

I just never expected that I would end up replacing my 50 inch TV for a 32 inch monitor. It’s not like I didn’t know that it doubled as a TV, but the quality of the images surpasses all other devices I got. I love the ease of connecting all my devices via Bluetooth and turn on the monitor from bed. Now I’m able to draw, watch movies, work, and just anything I can think so. You don’t really think the extra features are necessary until you need them. Like a monitor that just happens to have a camera and Alexa for any questions you might have. So far, I gotta say it’s the best purchase I’ve done for myself.

Document editing is fun with the monitor because the picture is sharp. The remote and the user Interface is very difficult to use. No mute button on the remote. Switing inputs require going to home every time. Also, for accessing setting, I have to go through the home screen. User interface and user experience could have been much better. I use bixby as the speech interface, it makes things easier. The sound quality of the monitor is decent, but not too loud. I use a Bluetooth speaker.

After a while both monitors (located in 2 different physical locations) ceased to retain the remote connection. They would stay connected for a while and then simply disconnect. It finally got to the point where they no longer connected at all to my desk top computer. They are both now being used as a TV, which is not why they were purchased. From my experience, I cannot recommend this particular monitor.

It gets the job done in that category, however, I was really looking forward to be able to split my screen so I can also stream something simultaneously but that’s unfortunately not an option unless you’re playing a video game which isn’t what i bought the monitor for. The only way I’ve been able to do it is if I cast my tablet or phone to the monitor. Hopefully this gets corrected at some point in the near future with a software update. Samsung is really excluding a key feature here. Otherwise, camera is excellent and so is the speaker. I’d still buy it if I had to choose all over again.

I mostly use the monitor for work and it is great when using editing software like adobe after effects cause the screen in large. I also like the fact that it comes with a webcam. It just seems a little lacking in some areas. The webcam does not manually allow you to adjust exposure. So there are times when I cant see anything with the webcam. Also the fact that its 60hrtz is kind of annoying. I can oftentimes sed the ghosting with the mouse and some object. Overall Id recommend this product if it were on sale.

I bought this monitor as part of my home office set up, and I thoroughly enjoy it! I love how it's pink (my favorite color), and I like how it pairs well with my Mac Mini M1 desktop computer. I'm happy that it came with a camera (I was able to connect it to my Mac Mini's USB-C port with a USB-C cord and it works perfectly). I also enjoy being able to stream with it and how it has built in tv channels. All in all, this was a great investment for me, especially because it didn't break the bank in contrast with the iMac. It's a great option for those who mainly use a monitor for wfh purposes/casual internet use.

I bought this amazing monitor during the holiday season. I have owned several hundreds of Samsung products before, but this was my first Samsung branded monitor. This monitor has been great throughout my time using it. The software that powers the monitor is smooth as butter. The monitor looks and feels quite premuim. The display is clear, bright, and has great picture quality. Highly recommend this monitor for anyone looking for a great monitor to work or play. The great features with these monitors are that you can use them as standalone tvs, no need for anything extra besides a wifi/internet connection.

The size of the display alone and how thin it is makes me want to buy a second one to up my at home set-up even more. While I would buy again, there are a few major flaws with the M8 that I noticed within my first month of purchasing. Immediately you start to understand why it’s so lightweight and that is because of the materials! It’s all plastic… cheaply put together and very fragile plastic. Next up, the sound experience using the M8 for virtual meetings whether it be Zoom, MS Teams, or FaceTime definitely lacks clarity

Its great that i can work and have a monitor running with any media apps i load. There's even remote desktop RDP protocol and office365 built in. The colors are crisp, it's super responsive and there's no subscriptions. Samsung TV is a hit. It gives you a bunch of local channels as well as classics and even some premium all for free. I'm even considering replacing the other 3 with the same model or close to it. So that it's not the only one that has such a beautiful picture.

It was the main reason for exchanging it out in the first place. The second monitor I received was better, but there were still dead pixels that can be seen from certain colored screens. I only use this monitor as a display for my pc and rarely ever use it for any other features. It is still good to know that the features are there for when I decide to use it. The color goes well with my aesthetic and the remote has lasted about a year now without having to charge. The detachable webcam feature is also very nice, but I wish it had more range as far as adjusting the angle.

I've had this monitor for about 4 months. The size and picture are very good. However, it doesn't seem to excel any anything in particular. It's not a fantastic display, the camera is proprietary and has additioanlnrequires to use, and the smart features seem to get it the way far too often. I would have been better served with a monitor that didn't include the smart and streaming features. However, if you're looking for an option that combines a monitor and TV, for a small apartment or dorm room, this may be perfectly adequate. Don't count on that camera though.

For a monitor you look for raw performance and raw output. This model being a VA panel, it is not the sharpest while using it in monitor mode. Had it been an IPS panel, it probably would have performed better. This is the reason why I say it's a good TV but a bad monitor. The processor makes it look like its an amazing TV but that processing cannot be used while using it as a monitor. So, if entertainment is your goal go for it. If not stick to the standard monitors.

As a result the monitor does stay on 24/7. I haven't noticed any burn in or other problematic issues not even a dead pixel. As of recently though, the monitor itself has slowed down a bit but tends to catch itself up fairly quickly. Could be a result of constantly running. SmartThings works wonders and my headphones (Galaxy Buds+) paired seamlessly. The built in speakers could be better, but they are good for a monitor.

This monitor has many more features than I usually use and there is a learning curve; but, once you figure it out, you have a really powerful window into your world: the display is excellent. the only fault I can find with it is there is no easy access to the USB plugins without standing up and approaching from the other side. Hey, Samsung, you have smart engineers, how about a fold-down USB hub along the lower edge? If you want an excellent desktop display, get this.

Great monitor for entertainment only. This seems more like a TV than a monitor. Don't get me wrong all the features it offers are great and I have no complaints on that on the software end. My problem is if it's a monitor why does it only have 1 HDMI port. I can only hook up one thing to the monitor. This monitor is not made for Gamers, Streamers, or those that just have or want multiple monitors. I understand it's not advertised for that but it's still a monitor and it should at least have 2 ports for display. Even the Samsung TV's have more. Also, When gaming quality is not as good as I expected from a Samsung product. If you only want to use this to watch Netflix and all those streaming services then this is for you but that's all it should be.

The only improvement would be to the camera, as it doesn't zoom in appropriately and I look far away during calls. As a TV, it works great and the applications are very easy to navigate. I do wish the speakers were better on the computer. Lastly, the monitor is very thin and beautiful, but there is a huge power box that isn't apparent when you order it. The huge box makes it difficult to mount as a TV.

I thought I would love this monitor, but I don't just yet. I tried to wall mount it but sadly, the mount that comes with the monitor was not designed with consideration of it's use case. It is too thin for the monitor to be mounted AND plugged into an hdmi or usbc. (They stick out too far) I bought an off-market wall mount and will try that. Sadly i can't return this monitor. Picture quality is good, refresh rate is at par with others. I do wish you could adjust the zoom levels of the camera, but now I'm asking for a lot.

But with this monitor, I am able to plug my Samsung Chromebook in from USB-C to USB-C which charges my chromebook AND displays my Chromebook screen on my monitor with one cable! I've had some issues lately with my PC and while it was being repaired, I was still getting online with the monitor without the PC and was able to play cloud gaming on it using Xcloud and GFN. I relax now at my desk being able to play all my media on it with all the same apps I have on my Samsung Frame. This one monitor has changed my standards for what a monitor should be, but I also think that won't matter for some time since I think I'll be staying with this monitor for a long time.

When I first turned it on it was very laggy, I updated it, restarted it, and reinstalled everything. Nothing has changed, the fps while gaming is very laggy and the mouse cursor has a shadow. Tv wise it’s alright speakers are very very low, and changing between applications and shows is very laggy. It does its job in every aspect but it’s not up to par with the price. Its aesthetically pleasing in a great creation that was not executed correctly.

First, other remotes affect it, Multiview doesn't work without installing Samsung software. Camera only works with USB C cable, HDMI connected laptop will not connect to camera. Switching between sources is a multi step process, smart TV features are overly complicated with unclear connect to TV feature, which allows to view picture on TV but no way to control it on either. Working with DeX is delayed and fairly annoying. A lot of bloat installed and limited app store. Needs a lot of refinement in all areas. Positives are, reduced glare, so it's more gentle on eyes, EyeCare mode, which is a life saver. Also, colors are crisp, pixels are not noticeable even up close, no text shadows. Good proof of concept but it needs a lot of work be useful as true smart monitor.

I have a pink iMac and this pink monitor looks like it's twin. It's the perfect aesthetical set up. The colors on the monitor are perfect and crisp. I also love the different settings and features. One thing I am not using is the audio or the camera since it's being used as an extended monitor. But I can see myself using both of these features in the future as a stand alone monitor. I have also not used it for gaming. The best part of this monitor is it's ability to be changed from horizon to vertical. Lots of smoothing and no sharpness. I did fix the settings, but still lack the expected 4k quality from its apps. While when connected to my laptop, the resolution is great. In that case, would prefer to have a regular Screen that can present the 4k from laptop vs lower resolution from builtin apps.

Im a 38-year-old mom and wife so my home office is the only place in the house that allows me some time to my self. I start my day with tea in my office while I play a Youtube ambiance video to prepare for the day mentally. After cooking breakfast for my family and helping them start their day I return to the office and turn my monitor to PC mode and get to work. I use it connected to my MacBook and the 32 inches makes me feel like i can see so much more at a distance. Then around lunch I switch my monitor to game mode so I can play my Nintendo Switch cozy games. Then back to work. The remote makes it seamless switching back and forth. I do have an added light over the camera just so I am seen very clearly in my virtual meetings.

Screen is messed up out of the box in two corners allowing light to shine through. Looks terrible and is super distracting. Build quality not worth it even at the sale price. Everything that isn't just PC workstation has to be run through a Samsung account and remote is very flimsy. Speakers are as bad as people say. I got drawn in by the aesthetic and the screen specs and I regret it, won't make this mistake again.

I wish there were more options to make dialogue easier to hear on the the built-in speakers; even a simple midrange boost for voice ranges or treble and bass controls would help. I'm a premed student and am constantly studying/multi-tasking across multiple screens, so having this huge screen real estate was a game changer for me. When I want to wind down and take a study break, netflix is only a click away withe shortcut button on the remote. The white color matches my entire set up and has a super clean, minimal look that always gets compliments when I have friends over. On my small laptop, I can only have 2 windows open before things get too small to see. But with my new monitor, I can comfortably have 7-8 things open at once without having to strain my eyes. The monitor comes with a USB-C cable and an HDMI cable, so I can connect my laptop to it and have an extended external display. 2 of my friends already bought one for their premed studies because of how much they liked my setup. If this monitor supports the standard VESA, definitely I would purchase the monitor arm. 2) 60MHz on resolution 2560 x 1440 Now a days the people set higher resolution than FHD (1920x1080). I also set 2560x1440. In this resolution, max refresh rate is just 60MHz. So when I watch the video clips from YouTube or Netflix, sometimes it doesn't make smooth. Except above two things, I am satisfying this monitor model.

First Smart Monitor, give it a 4 for only two reasons: 1) Bixby turns on whenever it wants every couple of hours. 2) My monitor literally shuts off with no timer set. But as an IT professional, those are minor the functionality is great for toggling between 2 computers or use both at the same time with split screen. Happy overall with purchase.

This monitor make’s editing and color grading easier. The only reason I can’t give it five stars is because it doesn’t have a vesa mount. You have to use the supplied stand. If you’re ok with that then definitely get it.

I bought this product as a Christmas gift for my son last year because I loved its multi-purpose approach. Its not just a monitor, but could be used as a television and a computer to surf the net. I thought it was so useful that I immediately bought another one for the family. Its really good vaIue for money. I highly recommend it.

It has impressive colour's although I wish it was amoled. Tizen os also helps me stay organized and on task. I appreciate the connectivity features built into this monitor, including smartview, DEX with my S24 Ultra and tablet and even the airplay compatibilty with my other devices. I can also remote control my PC in another room if I choose to do so. It really makes working from home easy and allow quick swtich to entertainment.

The only audio output besides, the built-in speakers is a Bluetooth connection. The problem is The Bluetooth audio lags behind the video and there is no way to sync them together. It's a great looking piece of equipment is very clean. But if you want to listen to audio that is matched up to the video, you are out of luck!

Having a monitor that’s also a smart TV is major. Usually, monitors are 27 inches, but with the 32-inch display, it is enough to enjoy gaming, workspace, or TV.

I love the display and ease of use. It connects seamlessly with my laptop, eliminating the need for a separate desk top unit. BUT WOW are the speakers weak. I was stunned at how bad the sound is. Tinny and not very loud. Thinking of returning this unit because the sound is a problem.

The smart hub and navigation is slow at times which really ruins the experience sometimes. The Bixby and Alexa feature is nice but I wish they had Google Assistant as well.

Bought dec 2024 , it’s already having issues where’s there is streaks across the screen , slim fit microphone doesn’t work sounds like your under water Been sitting in the same place for the entire year hasn’t moved… the screen is ok .. I just watch tv on it now a lot doesn’t work

This is especially noticeable in dark scenes, where blacks can appear gray or washed out. Viewing angles: Samsung TVs have good viewing angles, but they could be better. This is especially noticeable when watching TV with a group of people, as people sitting on the sides of the TV may not be able to see the picture as well as people sitting in the center. Image processing: Samsung TVs have good image processing, but it could be better. This is especially noticeable in fast-paced scenes, where there can be some blur or artifacting. Smart TV platform: Samsung's Tizen smart TV platform is one of the best on the market, but it could be better. This is especially noticeable in terms of app selection and performance. Remote control: Samsung's remote controls are functional, but they could be more user-friendly. This is especially noticeable in terms of the button layout and the lack of backlighting.

There are things that I live about the monitor - Picture, size, sale price, Smart features. And there are things that made me give it three stars - Bluetooth only audio, Menu that overlap picture, over complicated settings controls, finish on my monitor has some flaws.
