We have a different model of fridge but have had cooling issues twice that required a tech to defrost the fridge to get it to cool. A Samsung designed modification/change up to the defrost heater water drain port was installed by the previous tech who said that the change would correct the blocked drain issue. Wrong. 12 months later exactly the same problem with zero support from Samsung. Their fridges have had this issue from a long time and Samsung doesn't seem to want to correct the problem. I feel that other manufactures can design a fridge that doesn't freeze solid so why can't Samsung. I will be considering changing brands.

Samsung uses cheap parts. I’ve spent a lot of money on samsung appliances in the last 2 years. All of my appliances have given me problems. Once your warranty is done samsung does not offer any help and sends you to third parties. Samsung parts are ridiculously expensive and they break super easy. My freezer for this fridge stopped working out of the blue after a year and a half of owning this fridge. All of my food melted. Samsung did nothing to help me except give me the number for a third party repair company. Save your money. I’ve had the worst experience possible with samsung and after looking at others reviews i see i am not the only one.

I don't have this exact model, butr a previous one...RF26HFENDSR. Worked fine for 3 years, now we have to defrost the fridge every 2 months. Calling in a repair technician. Off warranty, so Samsung is no help. Doing my research, seems this icing up issue is common for Samsung fridges. Too bad I didn't see that earlier. I would have hoped that what appears to be a common issue would get some additional support from the manufacturer, but no. Last Samsung product for me.

Lest start with i have a Samsung cell tablet my family have the same and i like them silly me i went out and got a 3-Door French Door Refrigerator (Stainless Steel) i had to call about three times to come and fix it because it leak into the trays and freezer now i have to go i the bottom of the freezer every week to look for gold but all i keep getting is ice. with the refrigerator i can not put any thing to close to the back because it freeze in the refrigerator. i have samsung stove washer and dryer too. i am not a fan of digging for ice every week if i do not get to it in time it leak outside the freezer then i have to dig for ice under the fruit and veggie tray as well. i am begin to hate any thing Samsung.

I have look in the manual and also in the internet everywhere and I can't find information about where is the water filter in this particular model. My Fridge flash red that its time to replace the filter bur there is no place that I could find in the fridge that could look like a filter. Anyone can help ??

This fridge does a great job of keeping a consistent temperature throughout the fridge compartment. The freezer also seems to maintain a good temperature. My only complaint is that gradually the freezer drawer opens less and less. I then have to give it a couple of hard pulls to get it to open all the way up but it then begins the cycle again. I have to do this every few days. Not sure why this would be happening. I was using an old top freeze fridge and was not sure if I would like the bottom freezer but so far I love it. The fridge runs nice and quietly. Has huge crisper drawers but that works out well for all of the produce that we go through and they definately keep our produce fresher longer.
I recommended this product.

I seem to have the same frosting over issue as everyone else that bought this fridge. Every couple months the cooling unit frosts over and the fridge needs to be thawed. Samsung has offered no help on this. Avoid at all costs!

I was looking for a no-frills fridge with solid performance. I had settled on a model from another company, but the pandemic kept delaying the shipment. With my occupancy date approaching, my appliance store called to offer this new Samsung they had in stock. I am so glad they did. I love the thing! It is totally no-frills. You get an ice-maker and that's it. The positives: - All-around cooling is not a gimmick - it really works! The result is that items towards the front of the fridge end up being significantly colder than you expect them to in a regular fridge, so you need to adjust for that. - Fantastic freezer performance. It really freezes stuff solid, and keeps it that way. Strong seal, easy to open. - S - P - A - C - E! You will never, ever run out of it. - Quiet! Some reviews of its sister models mentioned weird noises, so I was a bit concerned. I shouldn't have worried - this thing is as quiet as they come. - Sleek looking, finished to perfection, easy to clean. The only negative I can think of is that space organization could be better. I would have liked a pantry drawer. Samsung offers it in the more upscale models, but you also need to get some of the extra features that eat up space (water dispenser, built-in pitcher), and it was not in stock in my location anyways. Also, the vegetable and bins are really, really deep. They will swallow anything you throw in them, but this also means you will find yourself rummaging around to get to that item on the bottom. And the shelves could use an additional height adjustment. There is no way to get a one gallon jug of milk standing on the main shelves (but the left door holds up to two of them). All in all, I am very pleased with this fridge. If you find it on sale (which it seems to constantly be on) it offers remarkable value for money.

It’s a nice fridge. It fits a lot of food. It truly is a fridge where you can’t have anything near or touching the back of the fridge wall. We had it for two years until the freezer and fridge both decided to stop working. It reset itself and we lost a few hundred dollars of food. Thanks Samsung. It’s not warrantied anymore, only for the compressor. Its fingers crossed from here.

Do Not Buy!!! This product isn’t worth the money you will spend. I’ve taken mine apart 5 times in less than 3 years. There is a drain clip that isn’t made properly that you will need to replace because they made it too short and as a result the fridge. Repairmen won’t fix Samsung appliances either so do your homework first. Please don’t buy this fridge. It’s terrible.

We needed a fridge upgrade and after much consideration based on research, we purchased this Samsung refrigerator. I love the freezer drawer and ice maker! The cold/refrigerated section has incredible capacity. It fit perfectly to the space we have for it and with the existing appliances.
