i already have a smartthings hub. i wanted to boost my wifi and thought this mesh system would be the perfect addition. i found no information about compatability with an existing hub so i figured it would work. after purchasing and receiving it i had questions about hardware or wireless connections to my existing hub. after calling samsung i was told that i need to disable my existing hub and start over. they even told me that if i just needed a wifi booster i should get something different. this info should be more accessable or listed in a more user friendly laymans way when searching online. the product is quality built and packed well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a family of 4 who always seem to be connected to the internet (for everything), this Wi-Fi extender makes our lives so much easier. The set up took all of 10 minutes and we were getting our house and our gadgets connected. All 4 of us have tablets and smartphones that are connected as well as multiple gaming systems and desktops, this extender made it easier and faster than ever to keep everyone up and running at all times. We were even able to extend out to our second garage! That makes my workouts so much easier because I can distract myself with a video, lol. I love this product and highly suggest it for other connected families.

I've tried other wifi extenders, with long and confusing setups. The Samsung Connect Home was up and running within 5 minutes. Download the Connect App and create your wifi mesh. I have an old 2 story house with lath and plaster walls, and now I don't have a dead spot anywhere, which makes the family really happy. I even placed a router in my detached garage (50ft from main hub). For the first time I can sit on my deck with my laptop and a cold beverage and surf the web. Awesome! Family approved and highly recommended!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Set up went fairly well, I did have some problems like others have had with the initial down load stopping at 37% but on the third attempt Bingo it went to 100%. Once set up I added two more hubs, one center of the house and one outside in my porch area. I have noticed that when sitting outside by the pool I don't get the refreshing that I would often get before which is great and I also notice that my speed and connection is much better also. I have not yet added other devices but will in the near future. Verdict: if you are net receiving a good signal in certain area's of your house or you have slow speed and refreshes a lot then this is a good product for you.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Out of the box, the Samsung Connect Home was easy to set up and start using. I had a bit of trouble getting it to connect to my phone so I could begin using it. I had to go out of the app and back in a couple times for it to finish connecting.
Since setting them up, the Connect Home boxes have made our wifi faster, easier to use, and we haven't had to troubleshoot any of our devices because of connectivity issues.
We have three tablets, two phone, or gaming systems and TV connected to the Samsung. We haven't seen any drag on the bandwidth which is awesome!
I'd recommend the Samsung Connect Home to anyone needing whole home wifi and a better connectivity overall!

I replaced a netgear router with this system. I was able to place two hubs in the house and a separate one in my garage. I no longer have dead spots. My wifi works as it should. I'm happy with my purchase. I bought these for the flexibility of building my smart home. I have several Samsung products and have been happy with the simplicity in how they operate. I connected each of my hubs to an ethernet cable to improve the backhaul connection it works well this way the main hub is connected to a ethernet switch and the other two come off this switch allowing me to place the hubs further apart. Increased my wifi signal.

I have had this hub and wifi setup and running for over a year now. Super easy to setup with a Samsung Galaxy phone...I can't speak to how it is with anything else, but it took 20 minutes or less to unbox and have it running. I have since added numerous smart home devices as well. Having the smart home devices on a different protocol is great to avoid any interference. I have a 2000 sqft house and I only run into a connection issue at the farthest points away from the hub. This will be fixed with a second hub. With the two hubs, I will have signal throughout my whole house and on much of my 1/3 acre lot.
I recommended this product.

With 3 wi-fi hubs, the Samsung mesh provides great coverage around the house with stable connection for a lot of devices. The Samsung Connect App for Android works flawlessly on out Android phone. With the app we are able to easily manage the wi-fi network and change settings when necessary. The small hubs look good and easily blend in with the furniture. Internet speed has been excellent for all our connected devices and guests have been able to easily connect to our network.
The Samsung Connect Home Mesh 3 pack is an excellent addition for anyone who wants to get better wi-fi coverage in large spaces

The hardware is very good. That said, plume ruins it. I want full access to all industry standard settings. This includes seperate detailed control of the two nets 2.4 and 5g.. naming for each independent of each other. Turn one off leaving the other and more. I can't run independent diagnostics and several other things on Almost every other commercial or residential router. Plume prevents it. As long as there is no option to boot plume and take direct control of every node, I will rate 1 star due to advanced Samsung stupidity. Not all of us want or need plumes isolation of user and devices. Get rid of it and offer a way to take back full control and lock out plume.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've struggled for years to not have dead spots or lagging areas in my home. I never thought of using a system like this. Boy, do I wish I would have thought of this sooner. The Connect Home was very easy and effortless to set up. Within a matter of minutes I was up and running with all 3 devices connected.
I now have much more flexibility through my home when it comes to connectivity and reliability. I have a strong signal through my home for streaming and typical browsing. We have been able to use multiple devices without noticeable lag in connectivity.
I have not taken advantage of the flexibility with smart home connectivity, but look forward to doing so in the near future.

i like the concept of combining the wifi, wired, and z-wave services into a streamlined, mesh solution. that said, the router service is inconsistent. some networked devices connect without issue while others receive the wrong ip convension or wrong default gateway information from the router. in both instances, it causes these devices not to connect and requires a manual re-initiation (and several) for the device to receive a new ip address with the right convention or the correct gateway information. a somewhat effective workaround is to set static device numbers but that defeats the purpose of dhcp convenience in a home network solution. whether hardwired or wifi, the issue is the same.

I was able to set up this system in under 10 minutes, placing 2 units on the 2nd floor and 1 unit on the 1st floor of a 3000 sq ft house. This setup allowed me to receive a strong wifi signal across my entire .5 acre property. I would absolutely recommend this product to mid - large size home owners who are currently not happy with their current router and do not want to deal with a wifi extender that puts out a separate signal. Overall clean design, easy to install/use, and performs spectacular.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Setup and Installation: This product is very simply packaged and all setup is done via the mobile app. I have a unique setup in my house with a DSL modem/router combo and another router behind it. Even with this advanced situation, I found setup to go quite well. The mobile app automatically detected each hub once it was plugged in and configuration of the network name and password was very easy. Inside, there were 3 separate boxes, each containing a unit and a power source, with 1 of the boxes also including an Ethernet cable. The instruction given seemed unbelievably simple and I was ready for some trouble shooting.
I plugged each one of the hubs in, and downloaded the "smart things" app on my phone. The app automatically detected everything, asked me to set up a password for my network. From there, everything was good to go! The smart things app gives added functionality such as resetting your network and controlling your smart accessories (lights etc.). The app works flawlessly on my Samsung, but on iOS, it seems to be a hit or miss though.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a Samsung house looking to go more “Smart” this set has been a godsend. I wasn’t aware when I go it that it was also a Smart Things hub, so I saved in not having to buy that as a separate device.
We just built our 2600 sq ft home and were very excited to get all our “smart” devices going. We found that they all wanted to be driven by different hubs and that our connection speeds were dropping greatly on the edges of the house and upstairs.
This was easy to unpack, easy to install (my Galaxy S7 edge, already had the app installed) and getting it connected and providing the best coverage was a snap!
If you are going “Smart” at home or need better wireless coverage at home this Home Mesh set is just the thing you need to get going.

I have a large detached three car garage - work shop and have not had WiFi service out there until I installed the Home- pro 3 . I am very pleased as I always need instructions , schematics , drawings and parts . Now I can stay in my work shop and get the information I am looking for without having to go inside the house . The L is the one with the ethernet cable, and it just happened to be the one I opened first. Setup was fairly easy, connected the first, used the App and then connected the other 2. It's given me much better range than I had, which is the main reason I bought them. I was hoping to be able to use my device outside, and it's working well. I've had over 10 devices hooked up to my router before, and would have problems, now, I can hook up those devices without some being kicked off. So far so good.
I like the design, they're small, and very unobtrusive. I've hidden two so they are out of site. There is an LED, but it's not too bright, so it's not overwhelming.

With strategic placement I now have WiFi not only throughout my home but in my back yard as well! As I began to explore the Connect Home I also realized it can not just fix my WiFi issues but also some wired ones! In my bedroom, far from a wired connection, I have a bluray player that needs an Ethernet connection to get all the features. Samsung Connect Home to the rescue!! I simply set one up in my room and plugged the the Ethernet cable straight from the player to the Connect Home! With the Samsung Connect Home App on my phone I can also control all of my smart home devices! I still have a lot to explore in the Samsung Connect Home App. but I am sure I am in for all kinds of neat surprises!

I couldn't have imagined an easier way to extend my home WIFI network. We live in a brick house with horrible internet and phone service due to the natural firewall. Elegant, practical and easy to set up.
It took me less than 10 minutes to setup the whole system to cover my 2 storey house and the backyard using Samsung S7.
Adding Samsung SmartThings is a breeze, I added motion detector and smart Outlet in less than few minutes, planning to add a monitor soon.
Now I have the fastest wifi internet all over the house and can control few things from basically anywhere, now my son is walking in the backyard with his ipad enjoying Youtube cartoon movies.

i wanted to buy this to replace a v1 st hub and to cover more of my house. i've been using an orbi router for a few years with only one satellite covering the basement and 1st floor.
i decided to do a speed test before this arrived. on my old router i was getting 250mbs down from the 2nd floor computer. once this was setup i tested and with lots of tweaking i could only get up to 120mbs down. while the router was saying it could get up to 400mbs directly connected to the isp's modem.
i tested at the hub connected to the modem and still could only get 120mbs down. i moved hubs to different locations. i tried removing hubs by unplugging them. i tried adjusting settings in the plum software. still, i could not get over 120mbs and would normally only reach about 70-90mbs.

i needed a all in one affair while in school. got this since it combines the smart home hub and wi-fi together. i read the newest model uses plume to handle traffic, and plume itself had good reviews. well when i finally got it all working, plume runs at bare minimum since i am set up as a bridge to a wired router (as in this thing acts only as an access point). also, i'm used to granular control of my access points. plume does not allow this. luckily, my wired router can pick up the slack. but if you are used to having the ability to control what devices go to which ip domain or setting up qos, avoid this thing. once i have settled down into a house, the wi-fi part of this will be turned off (if possible) and i'll keep it as a hub only. wi-fi signal is above average imo.

I needed a solution that not only expanded my WiFi coverage throughout my home, but added Samsung SmartThings support to integrate smart switches, dimmers, hue lights and alarm system. Installation was quick and straight forward, and I could quickly see a performance increase across my devices. Internet access on iPads, Roku, and laptops are smooth with no lag. Very satisfied. I would have loved if the ethernet ports supported POE to avoid the need for the separate power adapters, but overall a great product.

After setting up the Connect Home I have not had any issues. I have set up all TVs and steaming devices (Roku and playstation) to the Connect and left phones on the regular router. It has worked great! One room would always cause issues of shows/movies having to buffer when watching and now with the Connect the issue hasnt happened at all. It has worked so well that my brother is getting it for his house now.

I have a 5,000 as foot home and trying to reach in every corner was difficult until now. I have had these hooked up for one week and setup was very easy. I downloaded the okla speed test app and my speeds did not drop! So now I have consisted internet that is now boosted in the entire home. Also I can now surf by the pool as it reaches outside too. Simple a great dependable product from Samsung.

I switched my Google WiFi for these to add the hub function with minimum hardware. The hub works great and haven't had any issues at all. I was expecting a decreased WiFi signal and I was pleasantly surprised to see a stronger signal throughout my house. I wish you can control all of the functions of the router with one app but I'm satisfied that you can control the advanced features even if it takes two apps. For basic functionality, the SmartThings app works fine. I highly recommend.

I had to reset the evinces a couple of times before they would "take" and connect. Unfortunately, when it didn't work and I was getting desperate, I tried to call customer service and they were closed for the weekend. Persistence prevailed and I tried to follow instructions again and it worked! I love being able to control from the app, the connection is great for whole house!

I like that I was able to setup a separate Guest network, and that I can see current network usage via the app. Haven't had to reboot any of the AP's since installing them over a month ago - this was "routine maintenance" with my last access point solution. I was looking forward to this purchase as the least expensive way to get a well known home automation hub combined with mesh networking.
I already have a router that works great so what made me choose Samsung vs. the Google Wifi solution was the ability for this product to run in Bridged mode + the added features of Smartthings !
As of this review (Sept 18th, 2017), devices connected to my hub regularly lose connectivity to the network and the only solution is to reset the hub (by unplugging the main hub for a few seconds).
I have to do this on a DAILY BASIS to ensure any sort of stability for the product.
I called Samsung and they acknowledged the issue and noted they were hoping to push out an update before the end of the month. Until this serious issue is resolved I cannot recommend this product to anyone.

I set up one unit on each of the floors. The set-up was fairly simple, and the app was decently easy to use. The wifi appears to be reliable after 1 week of use, with no interruptions and a strong signal anywhere in the townhouse.
I would definitely recommend this product for its reliability and ease of use/setup.

One of my big concerns going with something is will it be able to reach my garage which for my house layout is far. well with the 3 units its was not a problem. I have WiFi and Smart control in my garage with no issues. The Samsung Connect and Smart Things apps made the setup very easy along with provides great functionality.

i love this mesh wifi system, it allows me to extend my wifi very far and it allows me to control smartthings, but i would like for samsung to do an update to where it has an online dashboard to manage who is using the wifi and to manage ports. i am doing a project where i need to forward a port but i can't because the hub won't let me. this would be a great feature. but overall this is a great wifi system. keep doing a good job samsung!

we live in a ranch style home which is more long than it is wide (3500 sq ft in all). these smarthings hubs have been god send as the mesh network means not having to input wifi password as you move thru the home with your devices. i also added 2 additional units to the far corners where the connectivity was poor and they networked fine and now i have amazin connectivity with no dead zones. thank you samsung for making networking easy.

if you have comcast xfinity with an existing wifi network, you will not be able to extend that network. the setup software does not allow you to connect to wifi. you have to connect with a cable directly to a router. it makes absolutely no sense that a wifi device cannot connect to wifi. the mobile app for setting up the router does not give you the option to extend an existing network. carelessly designed without the end user in mind.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted the Samsung Connect Home 3 pack to help with my horrible wifi coverage in my home. I have tried everything, moving the wifi, changing to a newer modem/router, having the internet company come out multiple times, and purchased an extender all with no luck of having strong wifi from one end of my home to the other. I placed one of the Samsung connect next to my modem, one in my den, and one down the hall in a bedroom. My wifi actually got worse once these were connected and my children could not connect to the internet using wifi at all. I was able to but sometimes it was so slow that I would turn on my LTE just to get a webpage to load.
This product would be great for a smart home but the only other Samsung item I have is a fridge and I don't need to communicate with that! If I had smart light bulbs and a Samsung TV this would be a better fit for me.

The 3rd hub would not connect for me so I worked with the 2 with no issues. The devices are aesthetically pleasing and will fit in many decor options. They also do not take up too much space, for those of us with limited space or with many devices in one area. Connecting other devices is easy including SmartThings items. I was able to connect all of my compatible items and control them from one app instead of their individual apps. With all of the controls in one app, routines can be created for different actions or times of day which is very convenient. Once I got everything connected, I noticed slower speeds than expected and buffering was noticed on some video games. Streaming services did not seem to be affected. Overall, I really like the device and I would recommend it.

i bought this to compare and possibly replace my current mesh network. installing the device was very easy, and the speeds are faster than my current mesh. my only issue so far, is unlike my other mesh network, i can not seem to prioritize specific devices. i plan to continue with the samsung smartthings wifi, might even get a few more for better coverage. i would recommend this to anyone who wants a good mesh network.

nice! i have three samsung tvs, refrigerator, and dishwasher that i bought.
this is the last samsung product i will ever buy. if it is obsolete in less than 2 years after you buy it the company is not reputable or reliable.

we followed all instructions and the product cannot be set up. we checked online help and other reviewers' experiences, and there were many people with the same issue. the device should blink red/green to start set up, but it never came up. samsung help site suggests to reboot the device (what a helpful advice!) and we did that several times. please be aware that this device simply may not work!

i want to start by saying i own everything samsung. i have 3 of this wifi routers, but man sre they bad. they don't work well, you'll signal strength deteriorates from just being 20 feet apart. i have 1gb internet, and the max i have ever gotten from this routers is 140mb. if you have a device connected using the ethernet cable, then you'll get closer to your internet speed. very disappointed.

i have a fairly small townhouse with one hub per floor. even with 3 hubs in a small house, there is still many dead zones with very steep drop offs. there is parts of my house where i get 100mbps, two steps in one direction i get 10 and then one more step i get 0.1.
i wish i had returned immediately as theyre very expensive and worse than using the stock router that was provided by isp.

I have wireless in a 3000 sq ft home where I had to add a wireless access point just to reach the far side of the house which helped a little. Adding the Samsung Connect Home Mesh 3 pack increased my wireless upload and download speeds in every room of the house by 60% which is phenomenal. You don't need to be a techie to install these units. Very simple and I was up an running within 10 minutes of deciding where to place them. Not only are the units powerful, they are small, sleek, and look great in any room. I placed the primary unit next to the cable provided router in the den which is the furthest room on the south side of the house. The second one was placed in the furthest bedroom on the north side of the house, and the 3rd one in the dining room which is center of the house. You CANNOT GO WRONG with these units. Highly recommended.

I have a large home and have struggled with wifi coverage.
Tried many pods and hubs that have transferred only half the speed from the access point.
These hubs transfer all of it 100%. Therefore my wifi is blazing fast all over my
house. Took a few of them but coverage and speed are awesome.
I hope this product is not changed or discontinued. Would be ashame.

Really, Plume is the worst. My hub doesnt switch bad quality connections, and when it does switch, the delay is huge. I can't walk around my home on the phone without huge drop times.
Also, my system just drops for whatever plume is doing. Even during major hours.
This is the only system that can scale. But it has a lot of growing up to do

I’ve had this thing some time but I’ve never been happy with network speed it produces! I have fiber 1gb and at best out the system I can get is 130 to 170mb. I get 700mb out of my att router it the single strength isn’t good with it. If I could get the speed of my att router and the signal out of this unit I would have the best!!

Once set up, no devices were dropped and picked up the signal without any issues. It was used to hook up streaming devices. It was so easy to hookup. Why did I wait this long? Highly recommended.

Terrible product. Dropped signal frequently. Died on me after 4.5 years. Full hardware failure on all 3 Hubs on the same night. Reached out to Samsung for support but they wouldn't help for warranty or even provide a quote for repair.
I could have purchased any mesh wifi product and I trusted Samsung. Big mistake.

It was so frustrating having moved here from the city. I had to go outside in the driveway to make a phone call. WiFi was limited to the end of the couch or in the room where the modem and router are located. I live in a small cabin, probably less than 800 square feet. Well, I purchased the Samsung Connect Home Smart WiFi System, the 3 pack. I had doubts, but it was not substantiated. This system is by far the best and smartest purchase ever. I am excited! I am not chained to the corner of the couch any longer. I have WiFi EVERYWHERE! And I have just one hooked up. I can access the internet from anywhere in the house including the basement. I will probably give one to my daughter. And Connect the other one, not that it's needed but just to satisfy my curiosity. I have tried the WiFi extender, turned out to be a huge waste of money. I cannot express how happy I am with the system.

Sadly, the device has fallen short for my liking. The app is very limited on what can be configured; I could not find any way to change my subnet which would require significant reconfiguration of my network. At first, I did not think port forwarding was even an option but it is hidden in an odd location. No ability to have separate 5GHz and 2.4GHz SSIDs either. On the bright side, setup is extremely easy when the phone app behaves. With some further development for us power users I can see this being a great device, it just is not there yet.
My wife and I did both encounter some strange connection issues too requiring us to cycle Wi-Fi on our phones. We did not notice any other devices encountering this issue while testing the device though.
I would recommend this to users who just want a simple setup and go device. Power users should probably wait to see if the software improves at all before purchasing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung Home Connect is the first wireless router to successfully blanket my entire home and detached garage in one solid wifi network. I've been through several extremely high end routers and repeaters trying to get complete coverage and nothing has been as successful as the Samsung Home Connect, the ease of setup was just an added bonus really.
Pros:
Great total area coverage
High bandwidth
Stone cold reliable connection
Seamless transitions between routers (literally can't tell where you switch)
Ability to tic tac toe from your modem to something very far away, like my detached garage, with a router in the middle to bridge connection between the end points.
Haven't discovered limit to it's bandwidth, attempted to overload with 3 computers mirroring HD movies through chromecast and it didn't miss a beat.
Cons:
Only one ethernet output on each router
The iphone version of the app crashed a few times during setup (Still way easier than trying to navigate to the router IP address and configure a traditional router)

So far the WiFi works fine, the built-in SmartThings hub just doesn't work as expected. Devices go offline intermittently, the automations work intermittently, not something to trust for any type of security when it can't be trusted to work all the time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The installation of the mesh was as simple as it could possibly get. Once opened, the devices were plugged into the Ethernet and control power. Within a few minutes my phones had recognized the new device and it was ready to be configured.
I was able to replace 3 wifi routers that have been used to give adequate coverage, although still not consistent speeds. After connecting the Samsung Home mesh, I can roam anywhere around the home and outside without having to worry about any loss in in speed or coverage. I would say about a 35% increase in speed/coverage with just a few minutes setup.
As for the Smart Things Hub, I have not began to set this up as of yet, but I am having a good feeling about it from others that have the hub.
One thing I do miss I the ability to manually configure to adjust (not that is needed). Also a good enhancement would be to allow an internal name for each device so that you would know which one you were looking at in the Samsung Smart Things app.
All I can say is my network has been missing something like this.

I have Wi-Fi through my cable and it was so hard for it to cover my house in certain areas the Wi-Fi would disconnect and it was loading very slow I was so unhappy until I got the chance to try the Samsung Connect Home when I installed it I was taking my phone around the house and checking if the Wi-Fi got disconnected I went out in the garage and the front of my house and other areas and never had any problems, I was so happy and excited that this really works and no more disconnect I have also been able to watch videos online and download apps a lot faster with this system, I have also tested this at my sisters house and she was amazed at the speed of the Wi-Fi she actually bought the system on the Samsung website and loves it. I have tested products for years and have never had the best experience of a lifetime like I do with this product, I could never be so happy and amazed like I am now, I will never use another Wi-Fi booster again.

I'm a geek. I like instruction manuals and tweaking a new device to max out its potential. The app that guides you to set this up does all the work. OK, you have to plug the power and data cords in order but that's it. The was the expected period of updates, then everything clicked - first the hub then the two slave units. This replaces my 5 year old WiFi network in my 4br 2ba house and I have not heard a simple complaint of slow wireless connectivity. Not till i saw this app running did i know that there are 23 WiFi devices in my house. Now I can manage them all! 7 devices didn't even need to be on the network! I was toying with the idea of using a powerline adapter to feed the 2 slave units a Ethernet connection but the new WiFi is moving so fast I couldn't be happier. I believe the mesh multi-node system might be a better solution than a traditional wireless router and extenders - which is what i used to have. It still runs - I am relegating that to low-use IoT devices maybe house guests i don't like sticking around!

Install went very smoothly using Samsung Galaxy S7.
Once up and running, definitely found better connectivity throughout the house.
We have a 2 story with a basement and tried putting one in each floor. Current router is in the living room, so installed the main there. Then one of the satellite devices on the master bedroom and one in the basement. Noticed the biggest difference in responsiveness in the bedroom. Browsing and playing games were much better.
Biggest complaint is the lack of ports. I have an Xbox one and smart tv in the living room and while we were able to keep those connected, they weren't technically on the same network as our mobile devices. Therefore, when my phone was connected to the mesh, I couldn't control the tv/Xbox. Perhaps an Ethernet switch would work, but don't currently have one to test. Having 3 available ports on the main device would have been better, even if size would have had to increase. Overall, good product for those dealing with large homes and simple network connectivity.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited about this product. One thing i always had an issue is the WiFi just outside the house, back and front of the house. This product help a little but not as much as i thought it would. The speed of the internet was faster than my regular router but not by much. Streaming videos well a little disappointed, it kept pausing and loading from time to time. I had to change back to my regular router's WiFi. Setting it up I had issues too, for some reason it did not connect to my phone. At the beginning i thought I did something wrong but took a while to connect and follow the instructions on phone. After you set up the first one the other two were easy to connect thru the phone. One thing i dislike the most was that one hub need to stay connected to the router. Which means you have two WiFi routers very close. It would have been nice if once connected to disconnect and place somewhere else to have more coverage. Overall is OK with the 3 pack, the other 2 hubs help spread the signal. With my regular WiFi/Router was 64.8 Download 57.4 Upload. With the Samsung Connect Home was 74.7 Download 47.9 Upload. As you can see the download was faster but the upload was slower. Hope this will help you as a buyer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a big jump in technology and although few people can fully utilize this setup at the beginning it gives you the opportunity to really expand your smart home. The setup was incredibly easy and instantly brought wireless internet to areas of my home that my previous router could not. Although the main advantage would be to spread wife throughout a extensive area, I have a typical two story home with 3400 sq ft, but the amount of insulation/housing between my upstairs router and my bedroom was enough to block a reliable connection. Once I set this up, I instantly was able to connect my entire upstairs to the furthest reaches of my downstairs bedroom. In addition, placing the third connect in the garage allowed me to extend range to my front yard which allows me to control my smart lights I use for external lighting. As a wireless router/extender this works absolutely perfectly.
In regards to connecting to other smart things, the system had no problems working with both my upstairs and downstairs thermostat, my smart samsung TV, my philips hue. I especially enjoy the preset commands goodnight, goodmorning, going out, coming home that automatically adjusts everything to fit the specific situation. This is a big leap into the future and certainly a splurge in regards to initial cost and furthermore to buy gadgets that can utilize the system.

As a hub, I can't complain with it. The big issue is that the plugs are poorly labeled in the app. All the plugs connect without much issue once you figure out which is which.
Now as for Wi-Fi....oh boy is it horrible. Signal strength is mediocre. Can go past 2 walls and already there is barely anything left. A single unit can BARELY cover a 600 sq.ft. apartment. Now the major culprit i found is Plume. That service is horrendous. The AI must have barely passed pre-k. There is 0 customization. Pretty much every other dual signal router can let you limit to which band to use, 2.4 or 5 GHz. Here? It will flip flop you on a whim and screw you over. If you have it set to bridge mode, as I do since I have a gigabit network switch, your options are further limited to basically seeing what is connected. I am upstairs in new apartment and my computer one second says 4 bar strength with over 100 MBps connection, next it says 2 with 3 bar strength. Samsung really needs to get rid of Plume. It hinders what could be a super competitor in the Wi-Fi/hub space. Even the most basic of consumer routers have some amount of granular control. As is, I would only recommend this item if you are on a budget and want the router and hub combo. Once I am settled out of school and in a house, I will disable the Wi-Fi aspect of this thing and use it only as a SmartThings hub which is what it does best.

The packaging was nicely designed and had a great welcoming appearance. It would be nice if it were all cardboard so more sustainable.
Initial impression:
The devices have a sleek and unobtrusive design. The LEDs are not too bright even for a bedroom. The rubber on the base provides secure footing.
Setup:
The first device setup without issues on the first attempt. I then added the two remote stations. Shortly after that my S7 indicated an update was needed. So I ran the update and lost connectivity to the 3 devices. I did a factory reset on all three and reset them up. Since then they have worked well.
Connections:
I have had up to 7 devices connected at one time in various areas of the house and all now have a fast and stable connection! We have an Xbox, computers and phones. We have had gaming with minimal lag and video that is smooth. This is what I needed.
Admin:
The system is very easy to use but does have limited advanced controls. I would like if they were able to have time restrictions on devices hardwired into one of the stations instead of only WiFi ones. Creating WiFi network was easy and nice to have a guest network option as well.
Overall:
I am very pleased with the performance and ease of setup. Having consistent internet through my home is a big bonus. If you are looking for a Mesh system and don't need advanced management I would recommend this system.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted to try out the Samsung Connect system for the sole purpose of extending my WiFi connection. I knew that the device could also connect to Smart devices but I do not have any of those. Once the unboxing was completed, I began to set-up the system. I quickly had problems. Each time I went to connect the hubs, it failed. It took 2-3 tries each time to get the hubs to connect to the app. Once I was finally able to connect all three hubs, I began to test out the system. We have a two story house and connect several phones, laptops, PC's, tablets, game systems, TV's etc. I quickly noticed that the throughput speeds were much slower than my regular 2.4 and 5GHz connections. We also started to see the system lock up regularly and loose the internet connection. I had to unplug the systems and re-set them often to reestablish the connections. To be fair, I did not contact Samsung customer support for this issue. After this happening multiple times, I simply unplugged the system. I recently connected everything back and switched from the default Standalone connect settings to bridge and that seemed to have helped. The system has not locked up for a couple days now and the speeds are at least close to my main connections. At this time, I'm not sure that the benefits of the system outweigh the effort to keep it working. ** Update - After having reinstalled the system, I have not had any of the original issues.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really have to tip my hat to Samsung for creating a mesh-network setup that is as easy as the 3-pack Home Connect. When using this with other Samsung devices (i.e. Samsung Galaxy S8+), setup is almost too simple. You start by plugging in the device, and utilizing the Samsung Connect app through the phone, it auto detects the "hub" and begins the process of creating a new home network. Naming, and securing the network is also something that is setup with relative ease, and I do really enjoy the fact that you can dind the network password/passcode by simply pulling up the samsung connect app (very useful for those who have a 12-14 digit key that they do not change).
I will point out, that for those with a more complex network setup, this system may not be for you. An example of this, is that I could not locate a way to properly setup DMZ on any wireless device. Additionally, you cannot hard set a signal (i.e. 5ghz versus 2ghz), so you may experience issues where a device is not able to be found on the network, as it's put itself in a channel that it outside the device spectrum. I will call out that those with a complex network setup may not find this ideal as a true replacement, and may need to also look into the Pro hub if higher bandwidth is a priority.
In closing, I think Samsung has really nailed it on the head when it comes to user friendly networking. Overall, I truthfully couldn't be more pleased with this product.

Our home office is downstairs and that is where the Xfinity router is. We have a family of 5 with everyone on some sort of device throughout the day. Xbox, PCs, Tablets, Phones.
Here is my husbands experience in his words since he is the one that set it up.
Connected wi-fi hub to router and was able to successfully set up, went to add another hub upstairs and connected successfully. Went to hook up third hub and could not connect, was stuck at 27%. Disconnected everything and tried again. Still no luck. After trying to change hub from router, had to reset all 3 hubs several times. Still no connect. Finally changed hub I could not connect to to the router via ethernet and reset hubs again. Finally got all 3 to pair. Now all are working properly. Unsure yet as to effectiveness of speed. We do know that our boys can connect their devices upstairs and now we can connect our phones without losing wi-fi when stepping out in the back yard. Seems a great system with lots of possibilities and when we eventually get more Samsung and/or Smart devices we will be hooking them up as well. When that happens there will be another review.
Unable to get photos and/or video at the moment. Just got the Samsung 360 but have not hooked it up yet. Photos of unboxing and set up are not clear photos so will not post those.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Setting up these decent looking 3 routers was relatively quick and easy with the app downloaded from Play Store.
I have purchased almost most of the WiFi router that has come out over the past 5 years from numerous manufacturers and am now so happy that they got it right. The "mesh networking" allows me to receive WiFi signal all over my >4,000 ft² home.
Now, the best part was that it had SmartThings Smart home hub function built in!!!
I had a few connected gadgets installed here and there throughout my place over the years, like Philips Hue light bulbs, security cameras, Ring door bell and z wave door locks. Those are now ALL! connected to one of this router hub and are all shown up in a single app called Samsung connect. That was cool. I was able to install these without manual instructions.
Now, with the new software update, it now supports additional advanced WiFi configuration settings! and I can notice more stable network with increased throughput.
Also Samsung Connect app seems to have more features, too.
Fast and reliable speed
This small router is fast and has reliable speed.2.4 and 5 GHZ besides 4x4 MU-MIMO makes internet fast and stable. The fact of having smart devices connected through one router and is crucial, I got my Arlo security cameras connected to this hub and performed well with zero issues. I recommend it for people lookin for a router and hub for smart devices as well. smartphone app is easy to navigate and setup the router.

PROs
1. It's super easy to set up.
2. The 3-pack provides far more coverage than is needed to saturate my 1600 sqft 2 story townhome.
3. The app is well designed and easy to use to manage your network.
4. The hubs look nice, as Samsung products typically do, though a black option would be preferred.
5. The network has been rock solid since I've had it up and running. No downtime and no connectivity issues
CONs
1. There are very few advanced options available. You can set up your SSID (Name), password, guest network, and that's about it. No way to give the 5Ghz network a different SSID or prefer it in any way. No port forwarding or firewall rules. Pretty limited.
2. No web interface either. It all has to be done through the app.
3. The device also only has one input port and one output port, compared to the normal 4 outputs that you'll find on a typical router so if this is your primary router and you want multiple devices hardwired, you'll need to invest in a separate ethernet switch.
Overall I'd say I'm happy with it. It is lacking features and will likely disappoint power users. At the same time it's super easy to use and seems solid so it will likely work just fine for the majority of the folks who buy it. I'm running it side-by-side with another wireless network and have all the features I need there so it's easier for me to forgive. Given the ease of use I'd recommend for the average user.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a huge fan of Samsung products and more than excited to try out the Connect due to the Mesh Net as well as Smart Things integration. We have a fairly large house/property as well as an ever-growing number of home automation products.
Things I love include the streamlined design of the products and the ability to seamlessly connect Wi-Fi through my house and outside areas. Unbelievably, the 3 hubs actually provide Wi-Fi to the entire acre in front of our house—just wow!!
Set-up for a basic Wi-Fi system was easy and took only minutes to practically set itself up. For us, it was a bit more involved hooking up our wired with wireless LAN. There is only 1 LAN out port per Connect so had to connect our switches to port to make work. Additionally, didn't have the option to run the sub devices with LAN, only wireless. For a Wi-Fi only system, this would be a dream come true, but product doesn't seem to consider other user models.
Smart Things appears to not be fully up and running reliably. In addition, devices such as our Philips Hue Bridge requires a LAN connection to operate and because of the limited network management options, we had to work around using a LAN port on our modem to actually get our Hue products to function.
In general, if Samsung updates the product to use LAN in and Smart Things on all of the hubs, not just the central device and adds additional network management control, this would be the product to beat. Fingers cross for next release as this is almost, but not quite, the product I’ve always wanted…

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When first unboxing this product I was excited to see that it appears to be very simple. There isn't much to this setup outside of plugging in your modem, powering up the WiFi pods and downloading the app! Once in the app the setup process should of been very simple from there. I spent a good portion of 2 hours trying to get everything up and running without success unfortunately. It initially took a few times of powering off and on the WiFi pod connected to my router to get the app to recognize it. After the first pod was setup, I moved on to the next just to continue to run into small issues with the app locating these pods as well. All WiFi pods were finally located by the app after a few power cycles. When the app finally showed me that I was connect to 3 pods, I moved on to setting up additional Z-Wave capable devices. Once I tried to start adding more devices the WiFi began to disconnect and my phone would tell me that it would attempt to reconnect when the quality of the internet improved. My patients began to run very thin, so I went back to my old setup. I unfortunately could only get internet to run on this setup for a short period of time before it would just completely go out causing me to run around the house power cycling devices trying to fix the issues.
Overall, this seems to have the potential to be a super easy setup with the convenience of connecting all your Z-Wave capable devices into one app. As for now I will be sticking with my old setup. Samsung you definitely have some work to do on this product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is very simply packaged and all setup is done via the mobile app Samsung Connect. You must first download the app. Then open the app and add the Samsung Connect Home to your internet modem. There is a quick start guide for you in the box with the hubs. The directions are easy to follow. The mobile app automatically detected each hub once it was plugged in and configuration to my network name and password were very easy. I do not have many smart home devices set up currently, but the few I do, were easily added through the integrated smartthings hub.
The Samsung Connect Home 3 pack has given me much better range than I had. I was hoping to be able to use the Samsung Connect Home outside, and it's working great! I spend a lot of mornings on my back patio. I've had many devices hooked up to my modem before, and would have problems. Now I can add several devices without some being kicked off. So far so good. I really like the design, they're small, and very unobtrusive. They can be easily hidden from view. There is an LED light, but it's not overwhelming. I now have much more flexibility through my home when it comes to connectivity and reliability. I have a strong signal through my home for streaming and typical browsing. My home is approx. 3000 sq ft. I would absolutely recommend this product to mid/large size home owners who are not happy with their current modem and do not want to deal with a wifi extender which puts out a separate signal. Overall the Samsung Connect Home has a clean design, is easy to install/use, and performs spectacular!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mesh router system was very easy to setup. The mobile app used to set it up walks you through each step. This allows you to get set up and online very quickly. I was coming from a very powerful competitive router and say this setup process was hands down easier by far.
Along with setup is the speed. My other router was getting 80mb/s of my 100mb/s connection. However, once I connected to the Samsung Connect home my speeds were at, and most times more, than 100mb/s.
With my other router was having connection issues at the edges of my house. With Samsung Connect home, problem solved. I compared ranges and while the other router had a longer range as a single unit, once I had the combined force of all 3 Samsung Connect Home routers, my house and then some was covered.
Now the drawbacks. There is only one outgoing Ethernet on each hub so if you have to hardwire more than one device a bridge device is needed. But with everything going wifi, it will not be a problem for 90% of people. The other drawback I saw was it is very difficult for port forwarding. Not impossible, but not very easy/clear. Again, not a problem for 90% of people.
All in all, this is a great system. It can get you started covering your home in all its wifi goodness. As an added bonus, you also get the Samsung smart hub features, however I did not have any smart devices to connect. The setup is easy, the speeds are blazing and the coverage is tremendous. If you are in the market for whole home wifi and would like the added bonus of a smart hub do yourself a favor and give this package a try.

Overall, I would say that I was happy with the product, although some in my family were less enthusiastic. First of all, I should preface this review by saying that I do not have anything in my house that can be hooked up to a Smart Network. I think this is the primary use for this product, so unfortunately I am unable to review it in that regard. However, it is promoted as a Wi-Fi extender and it is in this use that I can give an accurate review. As far as setup is concerned, I found this to be relatively easy. You have to use an app that you download in order to complete the setup, and while the app has nearly unanimous bad reviews I had no problem with it. I set up the entire 3 pack in about 5 minutes. In my home I tend to have slower spots in areas of my basement and outside of my back door, so I strategically place the devices in areas nearby. Since installing, I have not experienced any weak spots or dropped signals. However, my wife has and my son was completely unable to connect his tablet to the network. So, in it's primary function, this product seems to have mixed results. I gave the product 3 out of 5 stars because of this. I wish I had smart devices to connect to the products, because I would have liked to be able to review all features of it. I probably would not purchase the product, especially for the price that it is sold for. However, if someone were to give me one as a gift, I would be happy to keep it and use it. Perhaps one day I will own some smart devices and make better use of it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] One Wifi Hub just isn’t enough anymore. The Samsung Connect Home 3 pack is a (fairly) simple to set up Wi-Fi system that casts a virtual net of fluid Wi-Fi signal across your whole home.
If using a Samsung mobile device, setup is quite easy. The app walks you through it step by step. The "fairly simple" comes in when adding the hubs. There are no specific instructions on how to place these nor how to get the app the recognize them. With a bit of knowhow, I knew well enough to place the main wired hub central in the house and then the additional hubs at opposite ends/levels of the house. When pairing though you have to be within a certain proximity of the hub for it to recognize it. Once I figure this out it was a breeze.
These seem to work much like cell towers would. Download speeds are higher than that of my previous top rated router while at the far ends of the house, however, when nearest to the main hub download speeds are higher on my previous router. A fair trade to have more consistent signal throughout the home.
Additionally the hub also creates an available wired LAN port to plug those devices in requiring such. If your home happens to be wired, all three hubs are equipped with a WAN(in) and LAN(out) connection.
The device itself is sleek and not intrusive unlike many routers, making this easy to place. The plug size itself could have been smaller though as it is impossible to place behind any piece of furniture.
All in all the system serves it purpose quite well. Only real complaint is the lack of set up instructions. Others may not have fared as well as I did. Highly recommend otherwise

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our lot is home to 2 houses - one large 3 bedroom, 3 bath home that's about 2300 square feet, and a 1 bedroom, 1 bath casita. The 2 are about 20 feet apart at their closest and this has presented some problems with network connectivity. We use cable broadband 100Mb/s service and we are frequent streamers with Netflix, Prime, KODI, and On-Demand used daily. Our existing router, being located about dead center of our homes, still would only give 3-4 bars of signal to roughly half of our devices.
We decided to invest in Samsung's Connect Home System which comes with 3 hubs. I connected the main one via Cat 6 cable to our ASUS router and located it as high in the room as possible. I installed the second hub inside the casita and then the third hub installed in a bedroom of the large house, farthest from the room where our service is located. Installation of this system involved downloading an app to my smartphone, which detected each hub as I installed them. This process was very easy and required no networking skill. Start to finish it took me about 20 minutes to install all 3 hubs. I tested the system at many different spots in both houses, using multiple devices at each spot. The signal was maxed at 5 bars no matter the device or location, including our front and back yards. We have been using this system now for about 3 weeks and it has functioned flawlessly for us, even when relatives visited.
I am quite pleased with the System and it works very well for us, needing no maintenance or attention. I feel that the price of the system is worth having max signal across our lot and a network that needs no maintenance.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] WOW, Samsung knocked it out of the park again! The units itself has a small footprint, no antennas which were an eyesore, setup is a breeze through the phone app, and with built-in SmartThings, The Connect Home Mesh 3pack is a winner.
The beauty about the Samsung mesh connect is the ability to plug one Ethernet device on each of the hubs. This means you can plug your gaming console, desktop, etc. from any room, as well as increase coverage. I live in a 3 story home and I’ve placed a hub in each floor. Coverage is great and not a hiccup with speed or drops. I have all of my smart devices connected to this, 3 nest cameras, ring doorbell, etc., and I haven’t lost connectivity.
Setup is done through The Samsung Connect app. The app is so intuitive, you don't have to be a techie to get these going. Under MY DEVICES, it'll list all devices paired to your phone, and most importantly under HOME, are the Mesh Wi-Fi hubs. From there you able to see if the hubs are connected, rename them, see how many devices are on the network and restrict usage or assign highest bandwidth priority. Through the app, you can create guest access by creating new "guest" networks, monitor network traffic, as well as reboot individual hubs. All this can be done remotely as long as you have internet access on your phone.
SmartThings is the second part of this amazing device. As a SmartThings Hub v2 owner, transitioning to the built-in SmartThings in Connect Home was straightforward for connecting my sensors and outlets. The best part was being able to remove the old hub as well as the app since the Home Connect app handles the administration for everything.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First, I would like to say thank you for allowing me to test your new Samsung Connect Home 3-pack Smart Wi-Fi System. Upon unpacking the system, I was immediately impressed. The system has a very sleek design, no antennas, one power cord, one power port, and only two Ethernet ports. One Ethernet port is marked (IN) and the other marked (OUT).
It was almost as simply as: Plug the hubs in, connect them to your existing modem, and then connect the Samsung Connect system via the mobile app from the apple store or google play store to your home network. But I did say almost. The installation of the Samsung Connect system was very simply, but the app was somewhat difficult. There were no clear instructions how to navigate the app in order to connect the second and third hubs as extenders instead of hubs. But once connected the Samsung Connect system worked perfectly.
My home has a ton of mobile devices, tablets, and PC's. I must stay the Samsung Connect system took on the task with ease. The system allows you to connect anything that is compatible with the Samsung Connect system such as your home security system, lighting, security camera, televisions, heating / cooling system, and many more. I have to purchase additional SmartThings plugs to connect more items in my home.
I am extremely impressed at the coverage of the Samsung Connect Wi-Fi system. I placed a hub on each level of my home and we haven't had one lag in the signal since connecting them. With the mobile app, I can see what devices are connected and monitor the data on the system. I haven’t unlocked every feature of the Samsung Connect system yet, but I am looking forward to trying.
