I bought an Ultra this year and was really looking forward to using it for the Samsung health features, particularly the sleep coaching. Unfortunately, with having a tattoo sleeve, the biometric sensor is unable to read pulse, blood O2 etc.
Until Samsung, and all other smart watches can figure out how to overcome this problem with the sensor, I wouldn't recommend it if you have a tattoo sleeve. Had I known this issue before purchase, I would not have purchased this watch.
If the biometric sensor features worked on tattoos, this would be an amazing watch!

Pre-ordered the watch after the announcement and I would say I'm not disappointed. The massive 47mm size matches my hand better compared to the usual 44mm Galaxy Watch 6.
The battery lasts almost full 2 days before I need to charge (Based on usual usage: notifications, short calls, usual watch usage, auto track exercise, continuous sensor tracking).
Feels more premium with the titanium material. I used it during sleep and wasn't bothered by it since I'm used to wearing a smartwatch during my sleep, although I felt it on the first day, but got used to it very fast.
The screen is very bright and vibrant and moving from app to app is very snappy.

I have been waiting eagerly for GW7 to come out, after I heard rumors of all the tricks it had up its sleeve. I pre-ordered the Ultra version, as I prefer watches with larger housings and bezels.
So far, I can attest that it is an awesome watch for snorkeling and swimming, having used it for 7 days in the carribean 2 weeks ago. The water lock feature, came in handy at keeping water out .. I simply set the center button for this feature.
While I cam attest that the health features of my watch (BP, ECG, etc..) work well, the one feature I was looking forward to is a glucose meter. I have been made to believe that the watch is capable of providing this reading with the sensors currently, I am anxiously awaiting a software release/update which will unlock this on my watch.
Looking forward to a couple years worth of enjoyment with this awesome watch.

Purchased the Galaxy Watch Ultra, and to my surprise all the great features previously found on older models are still there plus many many more useful ones.
I'm quite satisfied with the battery life, which I can do roughly 65 hours on a single charge.
The screen is now alot more clear and sharp plus slightly larger than before which is a Very welcomed feature.
Overall great device, works quite well and definitely the best Galaxy Watch out there.

I bought this watch around 3 months ago and returned. This is one of the best smartwatch I had used and never regretted but this is not everyone's cup of tea.I had also bought a SG ring and felt that would suffice my needs and since not a hard core smartwatch guy but loves classical watch with dials, I had to return. Bit bulky but never felt heavy or hectic to wear around. But sleeping with it make not be everyones favourite thing to do

I've been looking to upgrade for a number of years now from my Gear Sport but was uncertain what to move to and was pleased to find that I could have all the features I wanted in one choice the Galaxy Watch 7 Ultra.The lack of a rotating bezel in this case works as the watch has excellent haptic feedback. The speaker is quite loud and the sound quality is very good and resembles a speaker from a slightly older generation phone. The Display is very vibrant with nice color and excellent luminosity, the Night mode adds an intriguing option awell as a pleasing aesthetic. The new Bio Active sensor seems to be a big improvement with accurate workout tracking and the Dual Frequency GPS makes it alot more accurate for google maps and tracking your routes. The Build quality with the grade 4 titanium construction looks nice and seems to be quite durable. The Battery life is better than all previous samsung watches while enabling it to both do more and last longer. The Design of this watch highly resembles the Gear Sport contrary to what many people are comparing it against. In conclusion the Galaxy Watch 7 Ultra is a high quality, attractive, full featured smartwatch to complete my Galaxy Ecosystem.

I've been using this watch for a few months now and I really like it. I'm a long time google watch user and I do appreciate the difference in the two. Do I think Galaxy watch ultra is better? Not really no it's just different in a good way. I would definitely recommend this watch to anybody! And to be clear I got the Galaxy watch ultra 2024 and that orange sure does pop 😃

Very happy with the watch. I did find it rather expensive but it is a premium product. I left how easy it is to change watch bands and accessorize the watch with for different looks and feels. I love how easy it is to do a workout especially cycling and running. It even detected my kayaking sessions this summer. What bike riding in the forest so I can easily see compass headings at a glance and with my LTE connectivity I can leave my phone at home for a run and listen to audible books while I go for a run.

Water lock fail

Do not use in water!!
I used a galaxy watch for a quick swim with their well marketed "water lock" on..5 minutes later, watch stopped working. Samsung won't repair unless I pay for repair me as water damage not covered, so I am out $292. They advertise the water lock feature, but if doesn't work then they don't cover cost to repair due to water damage!. Too bad as watch worked fine but Samsung is misleading the public about the water lock feature. Use an old fitbit if want to track swimming

Bought this 6 months ago and the orange paint on the bezel is already flaking. For a watch marketed as Samsung's "most durable yet", it really isn't. I've been working from home for 3 out of the 6 months I've owned it and haven't done anything I which could lead to impacts to the bezel.
When I contacted support I was just told to bring it to a repair center and pay for a repair. Kind of crazy a 6 month old 900$ product to need a cosmetic repair when I haven't done anything with the watch. Least Samsung could do is back up their weak design with a warranty replacement. Or sell a replacement bezel.
I will keep in might next time I buy a Samsung watch (I won't) that they're not meant to be worn, but put on display!
Everything else about the watch is fine.

There is nothing special that could justify the name Ultra and the price tag.
Using the Watch Ultra for few weeks now and here are the impressions.
Display is impressive [just like any other premium Samsung device], smooth touch and very responsive. Sleep tracking is better than Watch 6 but it's much heavier now to have on the wrist at night.
Battery life is a disaster when AOD is turned on. Takes nearly 3hrs to full charge from 0-100% with Samsung's 25W Charger. Don't be fooled with 1hr 40 min as shown to fully charge when charger is connected. My Galaxy Watch 6 44 mm BT used to last 2 days [AOD off and charges quickly. Battery life could be even bad with Mobile network on. I don't know why all the reviewers don't mention this part in their reviews.

Love it! I have been a Samsung guy for since over 12 years now. I have owned the Samsung 3 watch, 6 Classic, and now the 8 Ultra. What a difference! The watch is big, yes, but not nearly as big as I thought is ws going to be. And surprisingly it fits so well and comfortable on my wrist.
The features are all on point and do exactly what they are supposed to do. The screen is amazing and very responsive. AI is built into thi watch and it shows. I really enjoy the text messaging feature where AI will draft more appropriate responses from you.
The vibrations on this watch are very strong as well if you want them to be. In my day-to-day my job is relatively physical and I won't always feel my phone or watch go off. That's not the case with this watch when I have it turned up to high.
I'm still getting used to the watch and figuring out all the features, but the health tracking and the way it communicates to the rest of my apps are absolutely amazing. And much more detailed than anything I've had before.
For anyone looking for a high-end watch that can do just about anything that you need it to do, I absolutely highly recommend this watch. I love that Samsung has always made things very customizable to the user experience and this watch is no exception!
This will be the standard for watches for me moving forward.

Great updates to the watch 6 classic, although I'll miss the rotating bezel I am still happy with how smooth the watch feels and the new lug and strap design is super handy. Didn't know I needed that quick button until I had it but it makes for a super convenient option to start your gym sessions

I purchased the Samsung Watch Ultra expecting a rugged, military‑grade device capable of handling tough conditions. Unfortunately, my experience has been the opposite.
After a minor fall into the snow, I wiped the watch clean immediately. Despite this being a very light exposure, the watch stopped charging shortly afterward. When I looked into the issue, I discovered it had suffered water damage.
For a device advertised as durable and built for extreme environments, this was extremely disappointing. A military‑grade watch should not fail from a simple fall into snow with minimal moisture contact.
Based on my experience, I cannot recommend the Samsung Watch Ultra. The durability and water resistance did not meet expectations, and the watch failed under conditions it should have been able to withstand.

I had an S22 Ultra and the camera was superb. I did have a serious defect with the motherboard on that phone, which had to be replaced. As such, when my mobility contract came up for renewal I chose to "upgrade" to the new S24 Ultra. What a massive disappointment! I use my phone camera all the time for my social media postings and the camera on the S24 Ultra has horrible "zoom" quality. When taking a longer distance picture, the object becomes blurry and pixilated.
I am so dissatisfied that when my contract comes due, I will likely find another brand phone. I have used Samsung phones for many years but will be looking at their competitors. I have had a Note 3, Note 5, S20 Ultra, S22 Ultra and now the S24 Ultra. It seems that Samsung's camera quality is going in the wrong direction and it is not worth the large retail price point the phone comes with.
Also, the camera really struggles to take pictures of objects that are close up. In fact, it won't focus and will not snap the picture. As such, I have had to abandon some pictures I wanted to take.
Very disappointed!

I bought this watch roughly 3 weeks ago & have no taken it off since. I am blown away by the accuracy of the sensors in this model. The heart monitoring is nearly perfect & the sleep tracking has helped me understand my patterns better than my previous smart watch. Oon top of this, the stress monitoring has greatly improved my day by reminding me to take the steps needed to relax. Overall the watches interface is easy to use, welcoming for new users & expirenced smart watch enthusiasts. Not only is the watch incredibly useful, but it's also stylish & well designed. I have gotten tons of compliments during daily wear. Not to mention this is coming from. Someone who generally wears vintage dress watches. I love this thing.

I love this watch. I think it's one of the best ones Samsung has made so far. The only feedback that I have is the battery claims aren't anywhere near what I have been experiencing with this watch. I have to keep it on power save mode in order for me to have a couple to a few days worth of each side of it. If I don't have it in power saving mode I need to recharge it with it a day. What other piece of feedback is the watch bands are pretty pricey for the regular retail price. Was glad that I managed to get a second band at a discount. But if I ever want to change bands I think it's too cost prohibitive. Other than that I love this watch!

I had the galaxy watch 4 and I told myself I was not going to upgrade any time soon as it still works great and has many still one of top of the line. However after seeing the new design and AI features i could not resist. I was able to trade in my galaxy watch 4 and received $350 off and I purchased the galaxy watch 7 ultra. This has been one the best decisions i made this year as i am extremely happy with everything this watch has to offer and I with the trade in program i only paid $600 and I got and extra wrist band for free values at $120. Samsung really has done it and this is why all my electronics are from Samsung.

The bad, Disappointing battery performance. After just over a month with this watch I'm very disappointed with the battery life, I'm only getting 1 to 1 1/2 days battery life with aod turned off and using stock watch faces. The charging is very slow, over an hour to recharge. The missing spinning bezel was a major design flaw / oversight on Samsung's part. Replacement Samsung bands are ridiculously expensive.
The good, The watch operates flawlessly otherwise, snappy and bright. comes in handy controlling my s24 ultra and receiving notifications. Health monitoring has been a huge improvement over my past Samsung watches.

I've had the watch for a couple weeks now and it's been a great addition to my tech lifestyle, for all phone notifications it's very snappy. For the more advanced features like heart rate monitor it feels very accurate and easy to use. The build quality is excellent I work in a factory with gloves on all the time and it's very comfortable and durable, I even find myself forgetting I have it on until I need it or get a notification. I was worried about the size but unless you have very small wrists it's not a bad size. Screen is very bright, I can actually use the flightlight feature to see things at night. The customization is great you can change what information you want to see like weather or heart rate or even a date count down. Overall I would definitely recommend this watch.

I finally managed to upgrade from my 4 year-old watch, Galaxy Watch 4 to this beast. It is fair to say that this one feels light years ahead of my previous watch. The massive display and slick performance makes it a must own device. I must also admit that I am quite impressed with the square-circle design although I was initially skeptical about it. The other one i was worried about the weight and bulkiness of the watch but those fears were allayed as the watch feels super comfortable.

Owned the ultra 2024 and the ultra 2025 to notice that they both operate the same other than the battery lasting a bit longer that the 2024. While the memory is twice the size I would suggest to new owners that the cost difference is not worth the extra cost. When you charge either watch they will not charge with power off, also while charging it disconnects from the phone.
I hope with the s26ultra some of the updates will change the issues of the watch ultra

I ordered the ultra 7 with the anticipation it was going to blow my 4 classic out of the water. I was a little disappointed, mainly the size and unadjustable bezel. It's a lot bigger and bulkier then expected, and with only a few colour options, I chose the titanium gray, however I'm not a super big fan of the orange highlights. That's easily covered with a protective case however style and selection isn't huge on the market. The 2 take aways I like are the longer battery life and customizable workouts.

Really like it, using this to get away from my phone and live life more. I do wish the default band wasn't bright orange, but black. But at least I got a free one with my preorder.
I personally have not issues with the size or weight. Unsure what others complain about. I do wish I could disable the seconds from this watch face, they disappear in the Always on Display mode. But whatever, still works and looks great.

Bought to replace a Watch5 Pro that unfortunately fell off my wrist in a cliff jump (be wary of the Velcro straps). While this is still the best smartwatch you can get, aesthetically it certainly needs improvement. Sure is a statement piece but it's bulky (yet comfortable at least). Overall, it isn't an upgrade if you had last year's watch, but moving up to it from the Watch5 Pro was a nice upgrade.

I actually really like this watch but it's useless without a charger right? Oh it comes with a charger but you cannot purchase a spare one, at least not like the one that comes with the watch. Instead, they have a fancy one that built into a stand which incorporates a phone charger as well. $200 Canadian. RIDICULOUS! I would give 5 stars if the simple charger was made available for purchase. Instead, I have to order an after-market charger on Amazon which may or may not work. Why am I sour? I lost my charger today, or someone stole it.

This watch is a definite upgrade from the previous edition. While functionality remains the same, the new form factor in itself provides enough appeal to want an upgrade.
While I've had many of the galaxy watch series, I must say that this one takes the cake. The UI is easy, the processor is sharp, and it feels like home for your everyday Samsung galaxy user.

I was always a fan of the rotating bezel until the 5 Pro came around. That was a great sportswatch, but something was missing...then this beauty came in. I can't tell you how much I love it. It definitely rivals other "sport" watches but even better yet, it fully integrates with my Samsung environment! Thanks for getting it right Samsung!

I was an iOS person for the past decade. I switched recently to Android iOS . The battery is much better. It's more comfortable to wear - and I tried dozens of different bands on my iOS watch ultra - none as comfortable as this!
The screen appears to be larger - I find it easier to read.
All in all - a very positive experience!

The has a lot of sensors and can collect a significant amount of data. As a suggested feature enhancement I recommend adding the ability to read data from the Libre blood glucose monitoring system. The BIG downside for me is the battery life. I can get a bit mkre than one day from my battery before I need to recharge.

I am very happy with my upgrade purchase. Performance-wise, this Galaxy Watch Ultra is MUCH snappier than my previous Watch6 Classic. And I love the design. I have a medium-sized wrist and this watch suits me just fine. I do miss the rotating bezel - hopefully that makes a return in a future version.

I'm so happy to have it just a week ago and i like all the features specially the big dial and main screen features, it's totally incredible. The water lock feature is great. Whenever i go for swimming and in rain, it will automatically on. Overall I'm totally satisfied with my new product.

Had a Galaxy Active 2 watch and it was basically just a fancy digital watch. This is life changing!!! The sleep and blood pressure monitors alone are worth it. Everyday there are features I become more familiar with making me love the watch even more!

Honestly it's not a bad device. Reception is good. Design language is good( a tab bit uncomfortable to hold tho) the pen is not as useful as some might say if you are someone that jots down notes all day it's good for it. But I found it easier to use the hand gestures for the Camara function then the pen it's self. Personally as someone that went from the fold back to a candy bar handset, I miss my fold. This doesn't compare. In my opinion the perfect phone would be a fold and this ultra. But if you need a big screen and are too afraid of the fold. This is a fantastic choice

I purchased this device 2 weeks ago and in the beginning I was worried of the battery but after the update from samsung, the battery is awesome. I maximize most of the health app in this watch. This is awesome watch from samsung. I love it.

I'm quite impressed with the Samsung Galaxy Watch ultra. Great design, easy to change the band, great features too. The battery is very good. The only thing that is missing from the previous one, not able to charge on the wireless share phone.

Okay, so I finally caved and got myself a new smartwatch! 🙌 This thing is HUGE compared to my old one, but I'm kind of loving it? It's like having a mini-computer on my wrist. 🤯 The battery life is surprisingly good, I've gone almost two days without needing to charge it. I'm still figuring out all the features, there are so many! 😅 I've been using it to track my workouts and sleep, and so far the data seems really accurate. Plus, it just looks so sleek and stylish. 😎 Overall, I'm super impressed. Definitely recommend it if you're in the market for a new smartwatch!

It's a very good watch. Does it connect smoothly with my Samsung phones? The only thing I wish they had done is add more apps to the watch and integrate more messengers into the app. Then I could communicate using the watch better.

I bought this a month ago. So far happy with the purchase. One thing I noticed is that bazel color starts peeling off. I had to put hazel cover on it to avoid any scratches.

This Chonkyboy came in the mail today. Looks are debatable but after a few moments i got used to it and started wearing it.
Seemless transfer of my settings from my watch 6, Kudos to that knowing the history of android devices and backups it is refreshing that Samsung has figured out backup and restore so quickly in watches.
This first perfectly on my wrist, way heavier than my watch 6 but i am used to wearing heavy watches, Loved the free trail band, no matter how much Samsung pays me i am not wearing the orange band
The watch feels way snappier than the old one, the apps load faster, doesn't heat up as much and is more accurate. What more can you want. That Cortex A78 was an amazing addition to the core cluster! Thanks Samsung.
Sleep tracking is same as before but it adds new metrics like respiration rate and more accurate Blood oxygen and body temperature monitoring.
GPS tracking was just wonderful on my 2 biking sessions. LTE works perfectly (doesn't heat up) and doesn't drink battery juice like a thirsty hippo. Ahem Watch 4..
All in all I am happy with the purchase and the good trade in and pre order made the purchase more satisfying.

I bought this watch a few weeks ago and I have to say I’m very impressed with it. I swear it does everything but read your mind. lol The only thing that I didn’t really think was necessary was the oval piece that moves. It’s a bigger and heavier watch than I’m used to but I wasn’t long getting used to it. Nice design. The watch strap that came with it is comfortable. Usually putting the watch strap this snug bothers me but this one hasn’t bothered me at all.
