[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The tv is a bit larger than expected and is good! The remote is very tiny - exactly half the width of a regular cellphone. The picture is good and various aspects can be adjusted. Many channels and apps are available and you can set up other apps and favorite channels. Many steps can be involved and require some practice and patience to figure out how to work some buttons. It’s good to be able to quickly return to the immediate previous channel being watched and flip back and forth during commercials. It takes some trial and error to see the info/content of the channels. The sound is fine. The stand is easy to install and the tv is lightweight.

We were initially looking at a TLC with Roku because we've liked those in the past, but are really happy we went with a Samsung. The image is bright and clear and everything looks great, even older stuff. The remote is super responsive and the user interface is awesome. I love that I can use my Samsung Galaxy phone as an additional remote, which makes for a very convenient and comfortable experience. Plus, being a able to connect an Xbox controller to the TV via Bluetooth and play games without a dedicated console is amazing. Would definitely recommend this to others.

I bought this TV a couple of months ago to replace my old Samsung TV, which lasted almost 20 years! I’ve always found Samsung products to be very reliable, and most of the Samsung products I’ve owned have lasted well over 10 years, so I decided to stick with Samsung. I’m really happy with this TV. The picture quality is excellent, and I love having the Smart TV features. It also comes with a variety of Samsung channels with different programs to watch, which is a nice bonus. It was easy to set up and has been working great. I’m very happy with my purchase and, based on my past experience with Samsung, I’m hoping this TV will give me many years of use too!

Very happy with this TV so far. My old TV bit the dust after a long and happy 17 years. This one is a bit bigger. Wanted a larger screen due to eye/vision issues. The resolution is nice and the brightness is perfect. Contrast is good although I do feel it could be a bit crisper at times. I haven’t watched anything on it yet that would fully demonstrate its full HD capabilities Sound is good. The only thing I am not big on is the remote. It is difficult to read and the volume buttons can be a bit tricky. I tend to accidentally mute when I am trying to turn volume up or down. A minor thing overall. I would buy this TV again.

This Tv has very easy set up, he had this going within 10 minutes. The remote has a Netflix and Prime button. We are not very tech savvy but you don’t need to be with this. There are only two things with this tv; it does not come with the place to connect headphones, so I had to buy him wireless ones and pair them. The other thing is since it’s in another room and facing opposite wall (open concept) when I turn up or turn off one tv, sometimes it does the same to the other. It’s still an overall great tv and I’m happy he’s enjoying it.

Setting up the TV is proving to be quite frustrating, even though I've been part of the Samsung ecosystem for almost 2 decades. I don't like the remote either; call me old fashioned, but I love remotes that still have numbers on them. The software on the television is a turtle in comparison to what I thought 2026 software would perform. Television offers many good games movies and applications but many can't perform under hardware specs , take multiple paid subscriptions, are not compatible but advertised, the controls feel manipulated beyond the basic haptics of a remote layout.. the television turns onto random things when powered on just depends on the day. Very strong internet connection but still choppy connection uncertain of issue Only one USB port and three HDMI ports. Give me more power and less waste.

My parents got the 65-inch one, so when i got my own place i knew which one too get, unfortunately my place is smaller I got the Samsung 43-inch Crystal UHD TV for uniformity sake. I got to say I was impressed. Most TVs dont have a heavy contrast look to them however this particular piece had a minimalist aesthetic and with its 4k display, it just looked amazing. I recently obtained this television, and the first good thing i noticed about it was its resolution and its upscaling, which is 4K. I believe this feature along with the PurColor technology makes this television's brightness stand out from other standard TVs. The 4K resolution really does make an impact- it feels quite Responsive sharp and clean.

What a HUGE upgrade from my Roku TV! The picture quality is incredibly sharp, the colors are vivid without the picture having too much contrast, and there’s absolutely zero lag. But even before I was watching programming, I was already being wowed by the ease of set up. Basic setup was intuitive and a breeze. I dreaded reconnecting to Netflix, Prime and YouTube TV, but with the QR codes it couldn’t possibly have been easier! This television exceeds my expectations in every single way! (Oh…didn’t mention the sound. Two thumbs up, too! I’d heard that Samsung televisions have just mediocre sound quality. Well, not the case with this one! I'm personally shocked this is considered and priced as a "budget" TV because it is simply amazing, and the low price makes it even that much more so. The picture is crisp and the 4K upscaling works and looks magnificent on anything I watch or stream. Being a SmartThings enabled set, you can control it with your smartphone or voice (or the old fashioned way, with the remote). It has a generous amount of HDMI and other inputs. This is the kind of quality I would expect out of a TV that is priced five times the cost of this one. Highly recommended.

I am SO happy with our choice. This tv has a great picture- we did mess with the brightness and saturation a little to get what we liked based on lighting in the room and that was easy to do. The navigation among streaming services and adding apps for services is super easy. The sound quality is also really good. Our previous tv needed a sound bar but it didn’t attach to this tv. We assumed we’d need to buy a new sound bar but we’ve been watching it a week now and the sound has been great with sports and movies. I highly recommend this tv. The price point makes it an easy choice and it’s definitely worth it!

Loved the picture. But sadly no more. It has burnt out, and i am not pleased at all. I have had my 55 inch model just over 2 years. Not good enough ,frankly i will never buy a Samsung Tv ever again. Seems there is a massive issue re the setting for the picture WHICH Samsung don't warn you about. I actually thought my Tv was a Infra Red Heater as everytime i walked by it it was very warm . Then just under a week there was a burning plastic smell coming from the Tv. Could not find origionally where it was coming from. But then the Tv just started flickering and died. Looked online to see what could be the cause. Apparently Vivid or Dynamic setting causes more heat. So be warned. I never contacted Samsung , as no doubt they will just put the blame on myself.

I really enjoy my new Samsung TV now that it is setup but the process was not as simple as it could have been. Setting up the Wifi feed was a bit confusing as the instructions didn't state that the TV would automatically link with my wifi signal so I was looking to input my Wifi password at the beginning of the process. Also I understand wanting to get the user access to all the streaming channels easily but because I use the Amazon Firestick they are available there, already logged in and operable. Also for older owner, such as myself it can be a bit foreboding to navigate through all the streaming channels instead of simply adding the ones desired as I choose. Beyond that the TV performance is very good and controls are are great. I am very pleased with my new TV.

When I turn the tv on it has to wait for a bit before the actual picture comes on. Then it isn't what I was watching when I shut it off. I have to ush another button on the remote to get to a channel that I recognize. Also I hate having to have 2 remotes to control the tv. Just three hdmi ports is insufficient , cable, roku, earc, No spot for a DVD player. There are many user who have legacy equipment and we feel short changed. Some users may just buy new equipment, I'm not one of them. I will have to find a work around for an additional HDMI port. Picture quality is very good, but the construction feels flimsy, but time will tell if it is durable.

I tried adjusting and it does not dim really at all. Our last Samsung did this automatically. I also wish it would be on the last channel I was watching when we turned it off instead of having to go thru app screen every time when we turn it on. Sleep timer takes several clicks to get to as well (in settings). Old Samsung sleep timer was on the remote not in settings.

The sound is lackluster. Has decent sound but lacking in volume. A soundbar will fix that. For the negative the up and down volume control is on one side of the remote.,Took me hours of online searching to figure this out. I thought the volume was broken stuck on one setting. Worst volume control design ever.

This purchase was made to replace a faulty TV for my grandma. It is not only a nicer, replacement but the user interface was also simpler and easier for her to comprehend, as she doesn’t do well with new tech. Picture is great and better than a few other brands we have owned in the past, as a result I replaced my old Samsung plasma purchased in 2012 (still working reliably) with a newer smart tv and I now get to enjoy the great picture and user interface.

My last TV broke (not a Samsung) and needed a new TV for my room to replace it with. I am such a fan of Samsung so it was an easy decision for me to make buying another Samsung (we already have 3 Samsung TV's and computer monitor in our house). This new one is really nice, the picture brightness and contrast is so sharp I love it. The size 43" was a perfect fit for my bedroom too. I think I can say I am a fan of Samsung and will be for a long time.

The responsiveness starts out slow then goes really fast so it can be frustrating. Also, this will be the second one I had to buy because the first one just stopped working. It was within the 30 period so it was easy to replace. Other than that we are happy with it. This is my forth Samsung tv purchase & in my opinion they are superior to any other.

So I just got this TV delivered today and I have set it up for gaming as that is what i tend to do in my free time. One thing i noticed is that this TV does have the BT2020 color space option and ST2084 gamma option (likely due to the HDR that this TV supports). Does this TV not have Dolby Vision? If it does and I just can't seem to find it I would like to Know if it does. My Xbox Series X doesn't seem to think this TV has Dolby Vision at least.

Overall, pictures is great, but I’m disappointed in the sound output across so many different stations The auto feature on the sound output is great and should be compatible with multiple Bluetooth and/or HDMIARC without having to purchase a Samsung brand sound bar as I did not have the money to so right now unfortunately I’m stuck with a sound bar and can’t use the auto sound output feature to control the random very loud changes in volume

Had an electrical transformer explode at the street and the surge blew out my old tv even with a surge protector. So, I researched and found this one on sale. What an excellent tv. Was a bit of a learning curve to understand and use all the features/menus. The paper manual is in tiny print, so I went to the Samsung website and downloaded all the manuals: tv user manual, user setup, remote control and quick start up, etc. I was then able to enlarge and read them om my computer screen. Took me a couple of hours to fully explore, understand, and set all the features, but once done it became very easy and intuitive to use. For the $, tv is featured packed, excellent sound and picture. All menus and functions are smooth and relatively fast in responding and populating. I am impressed, and it takes a lot to impress me. Very pleased with this purchase.

The brightness and contrast works well and gaming wise the responsiveness to game mode works very well... as far as tv speakers go, they are good but still a tv speaker. I think its a must to use a soundbar. The upscaling its very well in this tv. I just dont like the UI with the home screen nor the remote. Old models take that in my mind.

The screen started turning on and off and Samsung came and replaced some part in it and lesson three is that I’m having the same issue and they’re refusing to replace it and have offered a 5% discount on my next purchase this TV should last at least 10 years and it’s nowhere near that. I will not be buying another Samsung again. This is very disappointing.

The TV itself is excellent for the price, but the remote control's volume adjustment design is extremely frustrating. I understand that there is an app available that allows you to use your phone as a remote, but I would prefer to use the actual remote for this basic function. I've only had the TV for about a week, and the app keeps disconnecting or going offline, which makes relying on it even more frustrating.

I've had this TV for a month now and I can say I am.impressed. the picture quality is amazing, and the responsiveness of the TV is great. My one and only complaint and why I gave it 4 stars is that when music gets loud, the sound tens to crackle and be tinroof sounding. Other than that, I love how it paired with my S25 to run the set up, so I didn't have to enter any passwords. Easy easy.

The picture on our new Samsung TV is terrific. However, the TV should come with a manual. Not a manual that is in the TV and you have to stand or sit and try to read your TV, very bad!!! Also, the Remote Control has no features.................the picture is great but I wish I knew the TV had no manual and a the Remote Control!!! My Samsung Smart TV is Awesome! I love it. The clearest picture I have ever seen. I think it is the best TV I have ever owned. Only thing is the remote w/the microphone icon - so you can use Bixby - was not included. I had to buy an additional one. The remote I cannot get open to change the batteries. I have watched videos, chatted with AI - nothing works. Not sure why it was made so hard to open.

Hi. We just bought this TV about three weeks ago and so far are quite happy with it. Picture is great and there's a lot of options that go along with it. My only complaint is the remote control . It is too small and it does not light up in the dark. That's a hassle and I will probably have to replace it with a generic one . Aside from that, we are very happy with the TV so far.

The remote stinks and the setup online for selecting options to view is very complicated. I would not recommend this Tv BECAUSE OF THE REMOTE ALONE! Many of the features on the remote do not work consistently. The design makes it impossible to manage basic local stations as it is a design that puts streaming and movies and games as a priority. I would not give this TV a 1 if I had the option.

I brought home from a retailer my purchased 43" Crystal QLED tv 3 days ago. I'm taking it back tomorrow. I researched this/many other products for almost a month. I ended up disregarding the negative reviews for this one. A big mistake. I replaced my, much cheaper tv b/c it was disconnecting from the internet & turning off on it's own (after 10 years). This, much more expensive brand/tv, is doing it after 3 days. It took me over 3 hrs to watch a 2hr recorded movie b/c every time I fast forwarded through commercials, it lost internet connection, & the picture froze. I had to turn it completely off from the wall, wait & start again. It was not my internet, the older tv was working perfectly (& further from the internet source). A clearer picture & slightly better sound is not worth the extra cost or unreliablity. Please take seriously personal reviews & don't think, "this happens with all tvs at times."

This is a nice tv. The picture is great. It doesn’t have enough connection opportunities for us. We create and play a lot of material. Can’t even connect our sound system. Didn’t even look when we bought it because in the past they have many ports. We will figure out a way around it but it was disappointing. I believe it is because most people stream? Who knows. I’ve had this TV for about a month now, and overall I’m very happy with it. The picture is sharp, the sound is great, and it’s very responsive. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that, on rare occasions, the picture quality seems to suddenly drop for a short time. We upgraded an older Samsung TV to this 65” unit. There are much more expensive Samsung TVs available but we have been very impressed with both the picture brightness and sharpness of this lower cost TV. We have watched a number of movies and don’t feel a sound bar is necessary. Upgrading to a larger picture really helps with the eligibility of small text on screen.

We're happy with this tv, with the exception of Samsung TVplus, which we find annoying! We want to watch our tv channels on Rogers, and the streaming apps we like — when we turn the tv on, we want to see our tv, not your Samsung TV Plus!! Even after disabling it, when we turn on the Samsung tv, it takes a few moments to get to our tv channels —- sooooo annoying!

The volume on my television has a reverberation whenever it is on 16 or above!!! Which is NOT a very loud volume!!! It usually occurs during laughter, crying, a loud bang something like that which happens all the time!! I have adjusted the volume as much as I am able and nothing helps! Very happy with brightness of pictures and like responsiveness. DO NOT like that we cannot receive bbc iplayer, this is a channel we used a lot. Are you able to install this? Would consider changing the television for a different make if you are not installing it. Do you have a time when you think it might be installed or is the answer never?

My Samsung TV was easy to install. Set-up was straight-forth. The contrast and brightness did not need any adjustments and the picture is sharp. Samsung support was very responsive to my issues and was able to rectify my problems in a few minutes. This is my second Samsung TV purchase in the last 2 years. I highly recommend their products.

it's a good TV the software to have different apps lacks a lot of options having to buy additional equipment to be able to use legally certain applications like TVA Paramount Plus Discovery Plus a bit sad they should start working on that as it's supposed to be a smart TV and we should be able to install these applications on any Smart TV

This is my first smart tv. Im 69 years old and wow I thought I was going throw the remote thru it :) But I finally got it work. Except it will not let me use Broadcast, its greyed out and cannot figure out how to get my window antenna to work. Other than that I love this tv. Its light weight and great viewing angles.. Highly recomended

I even tried a full factory reset with one of your specialists. It took over 2 hours and i still can’t get ABCiView. Other channels on and off, never reliably. And yet if I watch on my phone or laptop, no problem. So obviously the TV is the problem.

I have owned the tv for two weeks now and it is awesome. Purchased the 55” to replace a 48 “, no regrets. The remote is difficult to figure out. It appears that simplifying it went a bit too far. I use a fire stick on one input and regular cable on another, it is difficult to switch between them. For this reason I gave features a four.

I bought the TV about a month ago and have been very happy with it. I especially like the Filmmaker Mode for watching movies. I wish the unit had a Gaming setting for the picture quality. I find that the black tones are spotty and pixelated sometimes but overall I’m very happy with the product.

The OS is easy to navigate, apps (Netflix, YouTube, Prime) load fast, and the built look Very sleek, thin bezel, and light enough to mount easily. TV is good for someone who needs an inexpensive TV . it is not very responsive, wait and it will respond . brightness contrast in uniformity are all good for the inexpensive TV . this is not a TV for someone who likes instant gratification . The Samsung Smart TV has great options you can use via your remote. I actually cancelled my local cable tv channels as this TV offers TONS of free ones and subscription offers. The picture quality is fantastic! Sound is clear. This 50" UHD TV is a perfect size, just right. So glad I bought it! You will never regret it!

Pervious model I had Pluto and GEM this model doesn't have or the ability to add it. I enjoy GEM to access Canadian content now I cant. Sound quality is missing and forces you to get a sound bar to correct it. Last Samsung I buy. Folks need a Lawyer because of the Terms and conditions now, what about folks with a disability.

I’ve had issues with sound quality however. The sound tends to sound staticky/garbled at random times and this spans across all apps. Other than that I do enjoy this television.

The audio is a bit weak for the price point. It works fine overall, but the software experience could use improvement. The Brightness, Contrast, and Upscaling leave a bit to be desired when viewing non-4K content. Additionally, screen uniformity is somewhat inconsistent, though menu responsiveness remains fairly quick.

I’m a pretty tech savvy person but in general find the Samsung a bit confusing. For lack of time I have given up and use my fire stick 4k. I love using AirPlay to show my phone photos on the screen. Watching in daylight often picture is too dark and I am not impressed with the sound quality. Thanks for listening
