How do I check the internet settings on my TV?
PLEASE NOTE: this article refers to Samsung smart TVs (i.e. internet-connected). Images may differ slightly depending on the model and firmware on your TV.
A smart TV allows you to connect to the internet, use apps, stream, browse and shop on your TV without having to use additional plug-in devices.
Different smart TVs come with different features, so if you're not sure what your TV has to offer, go to Samsung Support and enter your model number to find the details for your TV.
You can check your internet connection settings on your smart TV by going to: Settings > General > Network > Network Status OR Settings > Network > Network Status
To move the cursor on your display, use the up or down arrow on your remote control.
PLEASE NOTE: If you are connecting wirelessly, ensure that your TV is sufficiently close to the modem or router. This should not exceed 15.2 metres.
You can either use a wired or a wireless connection to connect to your smart TV. You can find the internet connection settings on your smart TV by going to: Settings > General > Network > Open Network Settings OR Settings > Network > Open Network Settings.
