Using Fridge Manager on Your 4-Door Flex Family Hub Refrigerator

Family Hub replaces traditional control panels with its glorious touch screen display. Use it to access basic fridge settings via Fridge Manager.

Changing the Temperature

Change the temperature for every compartment in your refrigerator to keep your food fresh.

Fridge Temperature

  1. Navigate to and touch Fridge Manager.

  2. Touch the Fridge Temperature.

    If you want to change the temperature manually, touch the arrows above and below the current temperature.

  3. There are 5 preset temperatures. Touch the appropriate temperature for the foods you have.

  4. When finished, touch Save.

    Please give some time for the temperature to change.

Freezer Temperature

  1. Navigate to and touch Fridge Manager.

  2. Touch the freezer temperature.

    If you want to change the temperature manually, touch the arrows above and below the current temperature.

  3. There are 5 preset temperatures. Touch the appropriate temperature for the foods you have.

  4. When finished, touch Save.

    Please give some time for the temperature to change.

FlexZone Temperature

  1. Navigate to and touch Fridge Manager.

  2. Touch the FlexZone Temperature.

  3. There are 5 different settings. Touch the appropriate one for the foods you have.

    Please read the description carefully under the settings and choose the appropriate option.

  4. When finished, touch Save.

    Please give some time for the temperature to change.

Using Power Cool

Power Cool lowers the temperature of the fridge and speeds up the cooling process. The fridge will run at full power for several hours, and then will return to the previous settings.

  1. Navigate to and touch Fridge Manager.

  2. Touch the Fridge Temperature.

  3. Touch Power Cool.

  4. When finished, touch Save.

    Keep in mind, using Power Cool increases power consumption. When you are not using it, turn it off.

Using Power Freeze

Power Freeze lowers the temperature of the freezer and speeds up the freezing process. The freezer will run at full power for several hours, and then return to the previous settings.

  1. Navigate to and touch Fridge Manager.

  2. Touch the Freezer Temperature.

  3. Touch Power Freeze.

  4. Touch Save.

    Keep in mind, using Power Freeze increases power consumption. When you are not using it, please turn it off.

Cooling Off Mode

Cooling Off mode (Shop mode) is designed for use by retailers when they are displaying refrigerators on the shop floor. In Cooling Off mode, the refrigerator’s fan motor and lights work normally, but the compressor does not run, and the refrigerator and freezer do not get cold.

  1. Navigate to and touch Fridge Manager.

  2. Touch Fridge Settings.

  3. Touch Cooling Off.

  4. Touch Activate.

  5. Touch Proceed.

  6. To deactivate Cooling Off mode, touch Deactivate.

Enabling/Disabling the Door Alarm

The door alarm sounds if you leave the door open. You can enable/disable this feature by following the steps below.

  1. Navigate to and touch Fridge Manager.

  2. Touch Fridge Settings.

  3. To turn on the door alarm, touch the slider next to Door Alarm.

  4. To turn off the door alarm, touch the slider next to Door Alarm.

  5. Touch Proceed.

    If you turned off your door alarm, always remember to close the door fully.

Changing the Temperature Unit

Family Hub gives you the option to switch the temperature units between Celsius and Fahrenheit.

  1. Navigate to and touch Fridge Manager.

  2. Touch Fridge Settings.

  3. Touch Temp. Unit.

  4. Select the desired temperature unit. For this example, touch °C to select Celsius.

Using Self Check

Take advantage of the Self Check feature to troubleshoot and resolve problems in no time.

  1. Navigate to and touch Fridge Manager.

  2. Touch Fridge Settings.

  3. Touch Self Check.

  4. To initiate Self Check, touch Start.

  5. At the end of Self Check, if there are errors, you will see where the errors are. Touch the places that are causing problems and learn how to resolve them.
