Low GWP (Global Warming Potential) refrigerant
Samsung has added the new eco-friendly R32 refrigerant to its air conditioning range. R32 Refrigerant has a low Global Warming Potential (GWP)* and a zero Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP) effect - which helps to protect the ozone layer!

3-way service access for easy maintenance
Most ducted air conditioners are installed in a variety of locations, so they need to be accessed in different ways for maintenance. The Samsung Duct S2 Air Conditioner is designed to be accessed from three directions – top, side and bottom – using an easy to remove Slide Fit cover. As a result, it’s much easier to maintain wherever it's installed.

The Duct S2 system is designed with your needs in mind. Adopting Twin Brushless Direct Current (BLDC) rotary compressor with premium moving parts ensures a gentler, more reliable performance. It reduces vibration by 75% and creates less noise than conventional compressors.

The Duct S2 Units were designed with your needs in mind. With an operating range of - 15°C to 50°C outside air temperature for cooling and -20°C to 24°C for heating, they will provide the ideal temperature control year round.* Made for Australia and made for you.

The Colour LCD Display with backlight and intuitive user interface, combined with a simple navigational control panel make using the Duct S2 easy. You can also set the current date and time, as well as programmable yearly and holiday scheduling! The controller also allows you to monitor your energy usage.

Cool your home from anywhere
Wi-Fi and the SmartThings app
Connect your Samsung Ducted AC to your WiFi network using Wi-Fi kit MIM-H04AN (sold separately). Control your home air conditioner from anywhere, at any time using the Samsung SmartThings App. You can control and monitor the air conditioner remotely with just a touch. The Wi-Fi kit helps you to centrally control your Samsung TV, appliances and other compatible smart devices. All you need to do is download the Samsung Smart Home App* to easily check the list of connected compatible devices, name and status.

D.R.E.D Demand Response Enabled Device - D.R.E.D allows certain energy providers to limit your power consumption during peak demand times to help reduce power strain on the electricity network. Participation may entitle you for rebates from your energy provider. Please contact your energy provider to find out if it recognises D.R.E.D. and for further details. All Samsung ducted systems enable D.R.E.D. with the option of DRM1, DRM2, and DRM3 levels.
