As others have mentioned the screen is very dark and hard to see in microwave while operating. Seems to do a good job at cooking and is quiet. Not as intuitive as the sharp carousel we had for 15 years. For the price it is ok. Only time will tell how long it lasts.

This microwave is dreadful - sometimes works, other times powers off immediately after pressing start - it's a gamble (and potentially a safety risk). Despite having contacted Appliances Online and Samsung, it looks like they won't do anything unless I take it to a Samsung service centre, as apparently a microwave is a walk-in product. Just pop it in your pocket and catch a bus with it. Or take an Uber or taxi during work hours - literally adding at least $50 to the original purchase price, not including time off work, to rectify a faulty product. Beyond unimpressed, and now know that it is not worth buying more appliances from this firm.

But the standout feature for us? The option to turn off the beep sounds. It’s such a small thing, but for a household with sound sensitivity, it makes a genuine difference. No sudden, jarring alerts—just a microwave that does its job and lets you exist in peace. It feels unusually thoughtful for an appliance. It’s also refreshingly efficient. What used to be a vague waiting game is now precise and predictable, which feels like a small but meaningful life upgrade. Design-wise, it’s understated in the best way—sleek, modern, and doesn’t demand attention, yet somehow still gets it. Overall, it’s one of those appliances that does its job so well, it almost goes unnoticed… until you use anything else.

Bought a month ago. Works well and the round knob to extend time is a better option than the keep pressing start like others. Finish inside is easy to clean. Good value and does not make to many annoying beeping and noises like most other models

We downsized from a larger microwave that had "all the bells and whistles" and was a total pain to use. After 2 years the LED display lost a number of it's lights and was hard to read. This Samsung seems larger than it's capacity, is really simple to use, easy to clean and the colour really goes well with our kitchen. The only caution I have is that it has an old fashioned halogen light that is not particularly bright and the door glass seems heavily tinted, so it can be hard to see what's going on inside. Apart from that, couldn't recommend it more highly.

Brand new Samsung 32L microwave and the defrost function does not work?!? How Samsung manages to get this wrong straight out the box really baffles me?? As a loyal Samsung customer who has several high end products, their brand credibility is something I have been questioning for years and this incident reinforces the fact that Samsung have grown too big and too fast to sustain the standards and quality controls needed. I had a similar experience with a brand new Samsung dishwasher and mobile phone a few years ago.

Don't buy this model, it is rubbish and a waste of money: most of the programmable functions are useless. The defrost function is particularly ineffective. The instructions are incorrect. It is less powerful than my inexpensive 800 and 700 microwaves. I suggest that you download and read the full online instructions before buying - you will see what I mean.

We returned a different microwave due to a buzzing sound when plugged into power – we noticed an ever so slight buzz with this one too but it is barely perceptible. Great design and cooks well, not too tall so you can store things above it on a bench top. Ideal microwave for our small kitchen.

I bought this about 2 weeks ago and am very disappointed. The unit is extremely noisy, quite hot all over and the light inside is useless as it is so dark you can’t see what’s inside, which is quite unsafe. It is so noisy I think it could blow up, which is very strange for a brand new unit.

Microwave with standard functions. Looks fairly smart. Main issue is the thickness of the door compared to an older Samsung model that I had. The door is twice as wide as the previous model meaning that it wouldn't fit in the same space as the old one despite the same external dimensions.

Really well built structurally feels very high quality, the buttons and dial are nicely constructed. Heats up anything really quickly and also dosnt get “tired” like my old microwave used to be. Comes with a timer which is handy aswell. Overall amazing microwave from Samsung
