ECO Mode

Home appliances that stay powered on every day waste a certain amount of power without you noticing. However, the Standby Mode can reduce this unnecessary energy consumption*. When you are not cooking, it turns off the microwave oven’s display and uses the minimum power to keep it ready to use.

Brand new Samsung 32L microwave and the defrost function does not work?!? How Samsung manages to get this wrong straight out the box really baffles me?? As a loyal Samsung customer who has several high end products, their brand credibility is something I have been questioning for years and this incident reinforces the fact that Samsung have grown too big and too fast to sustain the standards and quality controls needed. I had a similar experience with a brand new Samsung dishwasher and mobile phone a few years ago.

We'd initially recommend resetting your microwave by unplugging it from the wall socket and waiting for five minutes before plugging it back in. Microwave works extremely well, but has several downsides one the press button controls are the same colour as the background BLACK so difficult to see them When selecting, white press buttons controls would have been better it would’ve showed up against the black background. Secondly you have to wait for the thousand watt image to disappear before you can turn the knob to set the timer. ( poor design )I would’ve thought two separate knobs one for wattage and one for timer. Wish I bought my previous microwave Panasonic as the controls were far easier on that machine. a little disappointing but on the whole the machine works very well Wouldn’t recommend it

A large microwave oven to replace an older oven. First impressions were that it looked stylish. The manual in the box was basic. You'll need to go online for a more detailed instruction manual. The oven has lots of features, but most surprisingly, the display only indicates functions with numbers for a given button press. You'll need to remember them or have your manual close to hand. performance wise its good. The only criticism is that with the door closed the internal ligth is dim and it is difficult to see what is going on inside.

Have only recently bought this microwave so can’t comment fully on all the functions or settings. Only bought this particular make and model as I wanted a large capacity microwave and the Panasonic one I had before purchasing this Samsung broke in less than a year. Seems ok on initial use, but as others have said the downsides are not having a full paper copy of the user manual (have to download and print yourself) and the fact that you literally cannot see a thing inside the microwave when you are cooking anything as the light inside is so weak and the microwave interior/door glass is so dark. That makes it a guessing game if anything is bubbling over or not.

Don't buy this model, it is rubbish and a waste of money: most of the programmable functions are useless. The defrost function is particularly ineffective. The instructions are incorrect. It is less powerful than my inexpensive 800 and 700 microwaves. I suggest that you download and read the full online instructions before buying - you will see what I mean.

Bought this a year ago but not taken out of the box until this week as it was part of planning for a home move. If I could give no stars or less I would as its no better than the plastic ones in IKEA. Clock, unprogrammable Microwave doesn't allow for setting time so doesn't function Pre set programs do not work In fact the only things that do work are the child lock, the beeps and the pretty light when you open the door. Unfortunately I did not buy it for the pretty light or the nice look. I bought it to microwave food which it does not. And after spending hours going through the manuals, downloads etc. There is nothing that helps in there. Waste of time, waste of money and a huge knock in my previous confidence in samsung items. Absolutely useless

Bought this microwave in a hurry. Well what an excellent speedy purchase. I have always used the same brand before but am so happy with this one. Large easy clean interior, easy to select wattage, easy to set timer, and a large turn table inside which means I can distribute things individually a lot easier. Even cooking. Great price and looks good in the kitchen. It does have a bigger footprint than my other microwave did but still fits on the worktop. Very happy with the purchase

I bought this a few weeks ago and I am not missing my old microwave one bit. It is easy to use with very even cooking results. It is easy to clean because the light inside is bright. The deodorizing function is nothing short of brilliant. I usually get a fishy smell in the microwave for days after my husband makes smoked mackerel in it, but the deodorizing function takes it away in just 5 minutes. The size allows for my largest plates and also makes it easier to get in and clean.

We have had this microwave oven for about a month and have used it nearly every day. The internal space big enough for a.full size dinner plate and it is quieter than our previous oven. The controls are simple enough and the door opens easily. Our last oven had a push button to open the door and it needed a lot of force to make it work. My only critisism is the that it comes with very minimal instructions, you to scan a qr code to download the full instructions

My last microwave was a Samsung which I was very pleased with. I recently bought a 1000w microwave only oven and have been quite disappointed in it. Firstly there are very limited operating instructions supplied with it and to get the full instructions, they have to be downloaded from Samsung website. I have difficulty with this as to access the full instructions I have to download on my smartphone and it presents some difficulty with reading them on a small screen. The glass door is impossible to see through when cooking, as it is so dark and the interior light is low intensity. The user has to ve very careful with the power and the cook time settings as I have cooked a ready meal using the meal instructions and the meal has not been cooked sufficiently. Following this experience, I will not be buying another Samsung microwave oven!

Awful experience. Out of the box, it was not possible even to set the clock let alone use any of the microwave features. The item appeared to have been put together incorrectly (does not sit on a flat surface correctly), and appears to engage the magnetron only when pressure is placed on the door when attempting to open it. In addition to the dissapointment of being sent an unserviceable item after waiting for the DPD delivery for a number of days, I am now into my fourth hour of Customer Services calls attempting to get a replacement (being told that this will take another 10 days) which (Samsung are pressing) should only happen after a video call (but their software is not working) and an engineer visit... Save yourself a lot of wasted time and simply purchase another unit / use another supplier. I'm pressing for collection and refund.

Bigger than commonly found allows for larger dishes to be used. Fast as 1000 watts power but allows adjustment to lower power levels when following cooking instrucitons. Unable to see anything through the door even though it is lit from inside. Not simplist to use as multiple button press to get started due to options but once you learn process its acceptable. So far has operated without fault. Very pleased with performance.

This microwave will take really large plates. It has many settings and features, so is not just for heating food. It has a 1000 watt power rating so gets food piping hot. All good but the only downside is that the glass on the door is very dark and the internal light is very dim so you cannot really see inside - hence only 4 out of 5. This is a minor thing but overall very pleased with the purchase.

I like it, easy to use but interior light is extremely poor, much like most reviews have said already and what only 4 stars from me. Otherwise very pleased, no reduction unfortunately but looks good and performs well. Point worth noting, the door opens from the inside hinge and needs about 2cm gap if building in - or else oven would need to be proud of cabinet. No problem if freestanding.

I am so happy with this Microwave. It looks smart, and big inside (which is what I wanted) yet not much bigger than the 800watt smaller size. The controls are easy to use, although the description of the buttons could be bigger, brighter or lit up as they are difficult to see in bad light or dark space. I'm very very happy with this product though.

Bought to replace a Panasonic version which let us down. The newer versions of that brand have a much reduced quality ..painted steel interiors which many reviews state are prone to rust. This Samsung has a spacious ceramic interior which is easy cleaned and plenty of settings to suit all requirements.
