It's amazing to use an ultra-widescreen 1000R curved monitor for the first time, upgrade from Asus VG279Q which is 1080P IPS panel. At first I wasn't used to it, I was a little dizzy when watch it, but I adapted the next day. I Simple to do some screen testing, no dead/bright pixels, not any light bleed, it's perfect! The gaming experience is so far so good, my eyes can not see any bad like ghosting. Very happy!
I recommended this product.

do not buy, after 1 day it developed screen tearing horizontally and vertically, took it back to the store i got it from "umart" they said its the worst model they sell and it always breaks and has this issue and more. DO NOT BUY.

Purchased screen for UNI work so I could have multiple pages on the one screen. Screen works well and great quality. Only annoying part is the screen appears to have a hair between the glass and the screen. After talking to Samsung I need to drive the screen to a repair agent and have it assessed then I won't have it for time of repair. As it's brand new with an issue I would have expected something faster than making it the customers issue. As UNI won't pause for me to get this fixed I can't drop it too someone to look at and wait. For the price I wouldn't expect any issues with it or at least have an offer better than what is given. So Samsung make money and the customer has to look at the issue everyday. (Small issue, just really annoying)

Don’t buy it – false advertising and poor build quality Don’t buy this monitor. The Samsung G55 34-inch does NOT run at 165 Hz as advertised. I tested it with multiple laptops, and the result was the same every time. Regardless of the HDMI cable or the device used, the maximum refresh rate is limited to 100 Hz. This makes the 165 Hz claim extremely misleading. The build quality is also very poor. The plastic casing feels cheap, and my unit had a visible gap on the left side of the monitor, which clearly points to bad manufacturing and quality control. Overall, this product relies on the Samsung brand name rather than real quality. Between the false refresh rate claims and the poor physical build, this monitor is not worth the money. Avoid it. There are much better monitors available for less.

Incredible monitor, just delivered today, and it's wonderful. Colours, brightness, sharpness are great, even the UI is pretty and easy to navigate. Performs wonderfully and as expected, my best monitor purchase to date.

I have had this unit for a while and it has operated well. The Power/menu button is annoying to operate as it is difficult to get to the menu and navigate around. As separate On/Off would have sufficed. Also disappointing is that whilst Samsung advertise 165hz, it doesn't. 100 hz is the highest it can go, so the advertising is misleading. The Axis adjustment is ok, but the base stand is very wide and consumes a lot of space on the desk. Image sharpness is ok, but not the best due to minor ghosting and no amount of adjustment fixes the problem, as expressed in other reviews, a bit of ghosting happens which indicates poor quality control. Would I buy another Samsung? No as it is too frustrating to operate, poor quality control, and the 100 hz is the max not 165hz..

Brilliant colours, the colours are perfect without the need to calibrate. Truly stunning game play, mine is paired with a RTX 4060 and this combo is awesome. Im a happy gamer! Amazing value when you give them one of your monitors you get $50 credit!

I bought this a 6 months ago and have returned multiple times to have repaired as the monitor will just turn off and on making gaming completely useless. I have been told this is because i have been using a console which it is not compatible with (Ps5 and Ps4) however instead of just playing at a lower frame rate or lower resolution the screen will just completely turn black making gaming unplayable. If this is the case then there should be warning of this on the website especially if they are advertising as a "gaming"monitor.

Not happy with the way this is advertised. This model only does 165mhz through DisplayPort and AMD Freesync. The two smaller screen models support HDMI2.1 so 120mhz on HDMI inputs like Xbox and PS5, this model only have HDMI 2.0. The specs page is difficult to understand and ambiguous

Garbage. As the other users have mentioned this monitor is just crap. Silly me bought a second one because the last one developed a green hue and was out of warranty. This time, the unit is IN Warranty and is flickering/glitching. No amount of trouble shooting has fixed it. DO NOT WASTE YOU MONEY OR TIME WITH THIS MONITOR.

Bought this item as it says 165hx everywhere on the product page, however if you download the manual and scroll all the way to page 18 it tells you that HDMI maxes at 100hz.
