I deducted a point as the back cable cover broke on the first install (it's still on, but the outer 2 plastic clips on the upper section are now gone), and no replacement was available to buy when I used the live chat on this website. I would recommend any buyers take care when installing that pane. On to the positive, I came from a 24 inch 144hz Acer XB241H and I was blown away when I upgraded. Questioning why I didn't upgrade sooner. I normally keep the settings dialled back to try and hit higher frame rates. But for perspective, I don't find it awful to run Cyberpunk 2077 on my 2080ti at recommended settings which hits anywhere between 45-70fps so the variable refresh rate works. I don't find myself noticing too much choppiness even when the fps tanks in areas with alot of lighting.

Its nice and fast, but I have a pixel that goes black on red screens and looks fine on blue and green. Another problem is some weird green pixel static that occurs against straight lines and black backgrounds with a colour difference, im not sure if its my graphics card or the monitor itself, it also happens in some spots of the monitor on still images with pixels flickering to different colours. Otherwise if there were no issues, it would be a perfect monitor, the curve isn't even noticable after using it for a while and its a genuinely high quality display. If I can get one without any flaws I'd be super happy.

The first thing to note is to have 240 Hz you have disable adaptive sync. However this monitor is great across the board of monitor features low response time, high Hz, adaptive and g-sync compatible, HDR 600 and 1440p with 10bit colour and the 1000R curve. Now you can certainly find 4k monitors with higher HDR certifications and better back light technology, but they will have higher response time and lower Hz and you can barely drive them to the max fps anyway plus costing more. So if you want a monitor for today's technology with a little room for growth as GPUs get more powerful this is it. As for the reports of flickering I couldn't replicate this. Maybe I'll discover it later or maybe it's manufacturing faults.

Set up and got to work installing updated firmware (1009) and drivers. G-sync works perfectly with my nVidia RTX 2080ti gpu without any flickering as reported pre Nov 2020 firmware. FPS games run all the way to 240hz with g-sync and my kill rate saw a massive improvement... so smooth and responsive. I got a good monitor with no discernible backlight bleed or dead pixels. The G7 didn't disappoint when it came to amazing blacks (VA panel) and eye popping colour. HDR works fine but I really like how it looks without it so neither here nor there with that. For those wondering, the curve whilst gaming is very immersive. I've got used to it already on the desktop and using apps like word and excel and web browsing. If you have the bucks and an interest, I can highly recommend this monitor especially if you are a gamer.

The monitor suffers from overshooting, or inverse ghosting when using G-Sync. Usually this would be fixed by disabling the overdrive setting, which is refered to as response time in this monitor's settings, however the option becomes inaccessable when adaptive sysnc (which is the G-Sync system) is turned on, and the setting still remains turned on, causing the effect. If you want a good G-Sync experience, do not use this monitor.

I've had the monitor for a few months now and I love it. Crystal clear, very responsive, and great colour production and contrast - I would highly recommend. I only wish the monitor came with builtin speakers as to save some desk space. Built in speakers would be perfect for those who only require background sound for day to day computing without needing to use headphones. A small gripe over what is an amazing gaming monitor!!

I needed a second monitor for my Live Streaming and Content Creation, Samsung have great deals for Transport workers so i decided to give it a try, there were already great reviews. The monitor has exceeded all expectations and my eyes have never felt so good looking at a monitor. If i could, i'd have 2 x more of these monitors, it really does everything you need it with the added comfort of HDMI input for console gaming.

bought this monitor few days ago was happy with the customer service but after a few hours of use there was black light bleed and I could barley see the screen I was sceptical about buying it and I just thought some people were unlucky but I also had the same issue never again will I be buying a Samsung monitor. when i first bought this i loved it, it had a dead pixel then covid and so on so couldnt get it fixed so that annoyed me, but since i didnt mind because it was in a corner i just continued using it because it was just so beautiful, crisp AF, great colours, perfect size and weight, and just a gorgeous piece of a thing, couldnt ask for anything better, thanks for producing something great now i just need 2 more :P

Good monitor but setting up with new Asus laptop took some doing and a few calls to tech advice (Samsung tech advice couldn’t solve, neither could Asus so had to resort to online forums.…) refresh rate needed to be same on both monitors - and then when disconnected the laptop had to setup all over again…. Should have been plug and play so bit frustrating. Connected to PlayStation no problem.

Bought from online store. Delivered to me on 25 April 2023. the windows texts on screen looks fuzzy. The texts look like i m reading a page print from old generation inkjet printer. HDR MODE IS OK,NOT SO GOOD.NO HDMI CABLE INCLUDED.THERE IS LIGHT BLEEDING ON SCREEN.AFTER TURNING ON COMPUTER SCREEN SHOWS WINDOWS ,THEN GO FOR BLACK SCREEN AGAIN FOR A MOMENT AND THEN COME BACK.

Amazing for games and media. The size and curve makes games and videos incredibly immersive. The stand is huge and takes up alot of space on the desk, so I would recommend using a monitor arm to mount this onto your desk if possible. It does require some adjustment out of the box to suit your needs for colour and brightness. Something that most reviews don't include is the pixel density which results in everything being 'big' on the screen as compared to a 27" 2K or 32" 4K monitor (even with Windows interface size at 100%). The pixel density isn't great for general use like browsing the web and working in documents. so I would recommend getting the 4K version if that is your primary use, or a 27" 2K monitor if you don't have the GPU power to drive a 4K monitor. I also recommend running this at 144hz for better colours and optionally HDR. The backlight is a very nice touch and will give your setup that extra aesthetic if you want it.

This is a great monitor - huge and curved, immerses you in games. Even though it is not 4K, 1440p is sufficient for my purposes. Simple to assemble and as it has 2 display ports I have been able to hook up both of my desktop pcs to it, plus consoles via the HDMI port. Very happy with my purchase.

Bought it 2 weeks ago to pair with my G-sync card, its best monitor I've owned. Full suite of options and easy G-sync setup. The lighting is a cool addition but its in the picture quality that the screen excels. To say I'm thrilled is an understatement, I'm getting a second one for my son.

Very good monitor, HDR600 looks amazing on the games that support it. The curve is a little unnecessary on a 16/9 monitor but still nice. G-Sync has issues with flickering on some games as it's only G-Sync 'compatible', but turn it off and with those games and the flickering stops.

First thing after assembly, I set up and got to work installing most recent updated firmware (1009.3) and drivers. Pleased to say g-sync works perfectly with my nVidia RTX 2080ti gpu without any flickering as reported pre this Nov 2020 firmware. Competitor shooter games use all that lovely 240hz with g-sync and my kill rate saw a massive improvement... so very fast, smooth and responsive. I got a good monitor with very little discernible backlight bleed or any dead pixels. The G7 didn't disappoint when it came to amazing blacks (VA panel) and eye popping colour. HDR works well but I really like how it looks without it so neither here nor there with that and use it occasionally for HDR Netflix shows and some games that aren't Cyberpunk. For those wondering, the curve whilst gaming is super immersive. I've also quickly got used to it already on the desktop and using apps like word and excel and web browsing. If you have the bucks and the interest, I can highly recommend this monitor especially if you are a gamer.

happy with purchase some bugs like screen twitching and had some trouble with the various inputs but they seem to have gone and even then not sure if they were monitor related or PC. Nice image, decent resolution fine for a person whos not into the tech numbers/specs

Brought this monitor a few days ago. Works well, great picture quality, although, causes eye strain quite easily. Only grievance is for the price tag, should really come with a HDMI cable, considering it needs one to work. Lucky I had one from my old monitor.

My only concern before buying this monitor was "the curve". Went and looked at it and looked ok, no issue, to me. So I bought one and very happy with everything. Still waiting for the RTX 3080's to become available, so running on my current GPU a Vega64.

This product has heaps of good functions and customisability, overall one of the best monitors out, only issue is the long arms at the base are very long and since I’ve upgraded to a proper monitor for the first couple days my eyes were a little strained

The G7 is amazing for gaming. It has a native 240Hz refresh rate and is compatible with nvidia gsync. It has the best deep black if you wanna play at Night time.The VA panel makes it even better when you wanna edit photos and videos and the HDR is WOW.

Very Happy with my purchase. The monitor hasn’t given me any problems so far and the colours pop. The only thing I would change is the virtual aim point. There needs to be an option for just a small dot in the centre.

I tried hdmi cable, displayport, update firmware, nothing helps, this bug is also noticeable on windows but in rare sceneries, on mac mini is visible in 50% of screens. Also very slow turn on, bad HDR...
