Complete Immersion in True Detail

The Curve Champion

The leader in curved monitors. Samsung has led the curved monitor market since being the first to introduce the innovative displays to the world in 2015. With industry-leading technology in a full line-up, Samsung's curved monitors are consistently number one in market share and consumer choice.

Immersive Viewing

Samsung’s 1500R screen is deeply curved to involve you more fully in the action. And with life-like 4K UHD image resolution and the superior quality Samsung panel, you’ll enjoy a viewing experience that’s more realistic than ever.

4K Display

With 4x more pixels than Full HD, UHD fits more content on the screen and resolves images in fine detail. That means you can view documents and webpages with less scrolling, work with multiple windows comfortably, and see great detail in your photos, videos and games.

A Billion Colours

Supporting a billion hues and a 2500:1 contrast ratio, the UR59C produces a wider range of colours and deep, dark blacks. So whether you are gaming, watching videos, or working with graphics applications, you can be sure of accurate and true-to-life colours.

*Compared to Samsung FHD monitors

Sleek and Stylish

With curved contours and corners, a fabric-textured rear casing, and a three-sided bezeless screen, the UR59C measures just 6.7 mm at its slimmest. And supported on a slender yet sturdy V-slim metal stand that also encases cables, the monitor brings an understated style to any setting.

Curved for Comfort

The UR59C’s curved display means that your eyes maintain a constant focus distance from the screen. This help to reduce the constant focus shifts your eyes make when viewing a flat screen, resulting in less eye fatigue and more comfortable viewing over extended periods.

Game Mode

Game Mode instantly optimises image contrast in game scenes to give you a competitive edge during gameplay. By selectively adjusting contrast in different areas of the screen, Game Mode reveals details in darker areas of scenes and lets you spot enemies faster.

UHD Upscaling

Samsung’s UHD upscaling technology includes signal analysis and detail enhancement that seamlessly upconverts SD, HD and Full HD content to near UHD-level picture quality.

UHD Upscaling UHD Upscaling
UHD Upscaling UHD Upscaling

*Picture quality of up-scaled content may vary depending on source content. Picture quality will not reach UHD quality.

Picture-by-Picture

Picture-by-Picture (PBP) lets you connect two different devices to the monitor and view input from both simultaneously at their native resolution side-by-side on the screen. Along with PBP, Easy Setting Box makes it easy to display multiple windows of various sizes in different positions.

Disappointing - the monitor is only 2 days old and I immediately already uncovered defects in the audio out jack. Technical support didn't know much about the model discussed, so will be having to take a day off work at least, and go monitor-less for a while to get this resolved from an outsourced technician. All this trouble on a brand new purchase. The display itself is OK, if a little overpriced. There is far better out there for this sort of money, if you're able to shop around and wait for your monitor. Unfortunately, with Covid-19, my work from home requirements meant that I had to buy something immediately and options at my local store were limited. Major regrets.

Don't get me wrong I like this monitor but the backlight bleed is very noticeable. Usually I wouldn't mind too much about backlight bleed on a budget monitor but being a high-end curved 4K monitor this really should be better for its price. Is it possible to have this fixed or replaced? Or would it be the same with every model?

I almost did not buy this monitor because it did not have a VESA mount, however I found a company that makes one on Amazon, and it worked perfectly! The colours are a bit off, but with some minor calibrations they are almost perfect. I came from a 24" Dell 24 inch IPS 4k monitor, and the drop in Quality was minimal. Paying the extra for the curved monitor is also worth it as you don't feel like you're having to look around as much. It's hard to explain, but lets just say once you go curved you can't go back! At 100% windows zoom, you effectively get 4x 1080p displays equivalent to around 14.7" monitors. It beats 2x 24" monitors side by side! Especially on a smallish desk, as there are tiny bezels on either side. If you're on the fence, then buy it, unless it's purely for gaming where the MSI equivalent may suit better. But for work, movies, and general computing, I don't think there are better. I wish it was about $100US cheaper and had VESA mounts.

This monitor is everything I could have asked for an more. The size of idea with the perfect amount of curvature. You can easily view one document or several without difficulty and it makes games and movies look incredible. It was seriously easy to set up, looks very nice and minimal on the desk. The feet stands are a lot more stable than I thought they would be. The screen is also anti glare, so no problem playing games with sunlight streaming in through the windows. All around very impressed.

I bought this monitor a month ago and I am obsessed. I have found that the curved screen helps my eyes feel less strained after sitting at my desk for hours on end. The quality is amazing - it is so crystal clear and crisp. Definitely recommend and great value for money. Works well with my Mac and external speakers. I just wish there were more options for monitor arm connections. Besides this, could not recommend more.

I've been using the monitor for a couple of weeks now and very happy. I always have lots of windows open so having 4 full HD windows on one screen is fantastic. When I have a big spreadsheet to work on the full screen definition is wonderful. I don't think I would want any physically bigger screen, it feels about right for my middle aged eyes and very little neck movement required.

Looks sleek and performs well enough. I do not use it for gaming so cannot speak to it as a gaming monitor, but it is a great business monitor. Only 2 inputs - HDMI and Display monitor, though. Not a problem for me. The only nag I have about it is that sometimes the monitor doesn't detect my laptop display and right away and I'll have to turn the monitor off/on to detect it.

With company-mandated remote working, I required a monitor to replicate my dual screen configuration at the office. Purchased the Samsung 32 after reading positive reviews & not disappointed...easy to set up & adjust, large screen, and excellent resolution. Highly recommended if you're used to dual screens and require visibility of multiple documents.

The Samsung replaced a top end 27" monitor I'd had for 5 years- this is a huge leap forward- 5 years progress I guess, and it was cheaper. I like the curved screen because I tend to shift around side-to-side, and it maintains perspective over a greater range of movement than a flat screen.

I don't like the curve. Samsung wouldn't let me return it so now I'm stick with it. Colour reproduction varies across the display, blacks fade to gray which is noticeable when reading text. No speaker or any other features. Doesn't sleep so needs to be switched off.

Excellent for both spreadsheets and PC gaming applications and it really cuts the glare as well. Swapped from another Samsung 32" curved to get the higher resolution and 4K and it was well worth the extra $$. So pleased i bought one for the wife too.

So pleased with this monitor as I not only wanted the width but also wanted the depth for viewing of documents etc, graphics are really good for movies, the only negative is the on/off/menu buttons which can be a bit tricky at times.

When I set up this monitor for the first time, I apparently cracked the screen. Samsung refused to replace the monitor under warranty, as I could not show it had been damaged in transit. Strongly recommend you look elsewhere.

Lovely size, and good, clear display. Couple of things that i'm particularly a fan of: only has 1 HDMI - the other is a Display Port. No Audio on the screen either unlike my older monitor that this replaced.

this monitor is a nice size, thin, relatively light and looks good. the mid range colours seemed fine but no matter what option you chose the Blacks were washed out and the Colour temperature of white made it look yellowish compared to all my other monitors. The Blacks are also washed out. If you're watching a movie or a game it might be fine but for office use I would not recommend this monitor. I rang Samsung to see if this was a fault or just what I should expect. After going through all of their processes and sending them photos side-by-side to compare the whites and Blacks on images with other monitors they told me I could take it to a service centre to see if it was faulty. However the catch was if they decided it wasn't faulty and it was just poor quality then I had to pay for a service. This is unsatisfactory especially given the current covid crisis when very few monitors are on display for you to view before purchasing them. I took a back to the shop for a refund Saying that it didn't meet my expectations which is accurate. I would not recommend this monitor, even if it was faulty, Samsung's assistance with the problem was less than adequate.
