The device is great in general except for people that travels overseas ofter .... BE AWARE ....
This device is not a true A35 5G, in reality it is the Australian version which is NOT ESIM COMPATIBLE.
Meanwhile the other not Australian A35 5G are ESim COMPATIBLE.

With my old 4G phone relying on 3G for voice calls (& 000) I had to buy a 5G phone. Dreading the experience of sifting through endless specials and displays, but had an A55 in mind - missed out on the $550 promo so the A35 was on sale $200 off, at $350. Mid range phone at base price!
Had it a week or two, easy to adapt to, great screen quality, good camera, and so much faster than my rugged & reliable Nokia 5.3. Any 5G phone is going to be better but with 6/128GB it's a huge step up from the old 4/64GB phone and it's very close to the A55.
So far so good. No issues. High quality phone at a great price - if you caught the Telstra discount special 👍

I bought the A35 to upgrade from the A50, which is now 5 years old and showing signs of battery failure soon. I am impressed bythe additional features od the A35 including the 5G network which is coming online (the A50 can't access 5G). I love the extra camera features and the extra notification setting for apps that weren't previously available. There is one thing the A35 won't do, that is play MID audio files, which the A50 did. I have some favourite ringtones which are MID files and so far I have not been avle to successfully convert them to MP3 as they lose some of the sounds. Apart from that I have found the A35 to be a really great replacement for the A50.

I bought this phone in the past month only because 3G is being shut down. It often overheats when charging, when working hard, when the air is hot or when I'm using it as a wifi hotspot. Occasionally it is so hot it's uncomfortable to hold. The photo quality is great for the price but the night photography feature isn't as great as my phone from 2018. I like the big, bright display. The Google Assistant is great; I love it! Transferring my information from the old phone to this one was easy but it didn't bring across everything. I had to a ridiculous amount of set up manually. The wifi hotspot constantly drops out.

I only bought this phone a week ago to replace a 4 year old Vivo phone that had started to crash a lot. Comparing the two phones (+ means A35 is better, - means worse)

I am a Samsung phone lover but my last A71 was starting to have problems with some recent software particularly for my new motor scooter and new security cameras. I feel the A35 5G is excellent particularly for the price and it solved all my problems plus also added software improvements else where.
I am glad I bought it. Other people blame the security camera and motor scooter software where in fact they most likely need a phone upgrade.

I bought this phone outright from my Telstra Shop a couple of weeks ago. I was looking for a good mid-range phone that worked for me in regional Queensland. The Galaxy A35 5G more than met my needs and expectations. It has done everything I need from using a wide range of apps to Internet access and of course, the ability to make and receive clear phone calls. Of particular note was the ease by which I was able to transfer my contacts, data and apps from my previous phone. It even put the apps in the same order that I had them previously. Although I have not had the A35 for very long, I have found nothing that would cause me to even slightly be concerned that I had made the correct choice.

I've had this for two weeks, the successor to 12 years of Galaxy phones from the original Note in 2011 = all of them an "office in your pocket" - an invaluable aid to my role as a consultant constantly travelling. They've done everything from note-taking thriugh editing reports, recording interviews, emails and, of course, phone calls.... I've become so used to their facility and quality that when my S20 Fe 5G expired after 3 years of knocks and bumps and work weariness I chose the A35 5G to take me into my retirement. All the functions, less than half the price....couldn't fault it.

At 75 years of age, I was reluctant to get a new phone. I was comfortable with the one I
had, but it was just not performing as it should.
Well, I should not have waited so long.
The battery charge lasts forever.
Being able to speak into a microphone for text messages is absolutely genius. No more typing. Yahoo!
The camera is awesome. Learning to use all the camera's functions is taking time, however I will persevere.
It is a telephone, and it performs just as the original inventor intended it to.
Keeping you in touch with family and friends, and the rest of the world...

I bought this phone recently as my former Galaxy was not going to be compatible after the shutdown of the 3G network. When you're disappointed that the old phone has to be replaced because of things happening beyond your control, I made the decision to replace it with another Galaxy as I have never had a problem with my last phone. I was really pleased the new phone was the same size as the former one...I did not want a phone that was approaching a tablet size or was going to be much smaller. So far I am really happy with my new Galaxy and am still exploring it's features.

My wife and I recently upgraded our older A50's to A35's. As retirees, we don't need top of the range, and the A35 meets our needs very well. Clear screens, excellent cameras, and easy to use, the A35 has plenty of battery life for everyday use as well as more than enough memory. The A35 represents excellent value for money.

I had to buy a new phone because 3G was closing. I was happy with my old Samsung so I could not so any reason not to go Samsung again. After 3 days I am so glad I did. I am giving it 4 stars because I haven't got right into it yet but I probably should give it 5 stars. Such a great phone for the price. Why people don't go android I will never know. I chose an A series phone as I don't sit on my phone all day like some people. I can only think how good the S series would be.

Recently bought the phone coming off a A52 which was a solid phone however I cracked the screen. This phone omits the 3.5mm headphone jack so you either run your headphones via bluetooth or usb. USB is fine for media playback however on calls the sound is heavily distorted and robotic sounding. The phone also crashes when using the usb for calls. This seems to be a common issue based on internet searches. I didn't have this issue with the A52. This phone is not fit for purpose.

I actually bought this phone for my 80 year old wife who has onset dementia and struggles with technology, I’m not the most knowledgeable when it comes to the new type phones but I found the A35 quite easy to set up in a format that my wife is very happy with and finds easy to use.
The other great feature is the battery, we live in a rural area and mobile phones don’t normally hold their charge very long with the constant recharging every second day a real pain, the A35 has only required recharging about every 7 days and this is appreciated.

I was with Samsung all my life until I switched to a another Android well selling phone that was a flagship model.After so many niggling issues I decided enough was enough and went back to Samsung.I couldn't afford the flagship and purchased the A3 5TH after reading so many positive reviews.
I am surprised how good this phone is for a mid price phone,It has a brilliant OLED display and 120hz refresh rate as well as an outstanding battery 5000mah that ast me 2 days.
The photos are also very good and I can not fault them. My last Samsung phone was the S22 Ultra so comparing to what I had I am thrilled to own the A35 and I highly recommend it to anyone wanting a mid price phone with all the performance of a flagship.
Well done Samsung you've done it again.

WIFI and Bluetooth need security reassurance. Apps or devices either connected to same Bluetooth or.wifi can access the device and change permissions.
Faulty computer design. Print plugin is a level of breach for the same thing. Hacker alerts, holiday camp for the technician type. Haclers delight. Tighten up securing the device. Only problem I found.

Bought th A35 to replace an older Oppo phone. Having always had Oppo phones I decided to change to a Samsung. Must admit at first the different button placement caused a few issues but the smoothness during scrolling is exceptional. I have had my new Samsung A35 for a week now and just love it. I read the many articles about the potential fall-out of the 3G network and decided it was the right time to upgrade my good Oppo phone of 6 years to a modern phone with 5G capability. I am a fan of Android phones given it is so much easier to connect them to my computer and transfer or add files as I need them. I am appreciative of the fact that many Seniors may not be able to purchase high level mobile phones but need current model phones with good accessibility and user-friendly features. The A35 does all of that and more.
I very much like the quality of the camera, and the quality of video play backs of any video's stored in the phone. I liked the option of having the extra storage capacity through an additional micro-sd card which I have now installed and its nice that both the Sim card and the micro-sd cards fit in the one card holder drawer.
I have quickly adjusted to the phone and with GPay I have a very useful tool with me at all times. I can most certainly recommend the A35 to anybody seeking a mid-price range mobile phone and I am very confident that Senior's like me will quickly adapt and also find this mobile phone of real benefit to their day-to-day communication needs. I am confident now of having a reliable, up to date mobile phone which will last me for some years to come. Thank you, Samsung, for bring this phone to your collection.

I bought this a few weeks ago just before a holiday to replace my Samsung Galaxy A30. I love that it is so familiar to me so was a seamless change - but with so much more storage and much better camera etc. The young lady at Samsung Chermside who sold me the phone was very respectful of my needs (didn't try and upsell) and set up the new phone and transferred all my files etc. A very helpful, simple and pleasant process for me. I highly recommend Samsung in terms of affordability for a great product and excellent support.

Purchased 1st one @ Telstra Palmerston, NT (Who don t answer phone) Aug, had troubles from than on. Phone could not be repaired & new one supplied first week in May. Same problem, call drop-outs, dial a number & call ended sign appears, restart & all is OK until after the next call & the same again.

I have only had the phone for a week and I am pleasantly surprised on the value proposition. My old Note10+ was a fantastic phone but unfortunately as expected the battery doesn't last long anymore, charging port failing and a small crack in the screen. I wasn't prepared to spend a lot of money on a new flagship.
The A35 has a great screen, really good battery life , it's surprisingly snappy to use for a mid range phone , probably could use more ram as I think 6GB is a little low but it's doing the job so far.
Coming from the Note10+ the camera isn't as good as the Note10+ as in both speed and picture quality but it's still good and does what I need it to do.
I think Samsung have done a great job with this phone. Its not a flagship product as expected but excellent for the price.

Have had my new phone (A35) for just over 2 weeks after the sad passing of my previous Samsung A50😪, which served me well for nearly 5 years! Hoping for a close relationship with my new Samsung; hopefully she is as reliable & faithful to me as my A50 was through whoopsies like dropping her in a puddle & just general use up to 20 hours/day on some days! Thanks to the TELCO's I had no choice but to upgrade my very good Samsung S5 to a new phone,I stuck with Samsung as I have always found their products to be easy to use,reliable,latest technology and affordable.I did quite a bit of research on different phones and settled on the A35 5g, I am so happy and impressed with my new phone,screen size is larger than my old one but not too big,screen resolution is so impressive,phone response to user commands is so quick,it works fantastic,such an impressive piece of equipment! The best part is it was so easy to set up and transfer all my photos/files/contacts ect from my old phone to my new one - and I consider myself a dinosaur when it comes to technology. I would thoroughly recommend Samsung products and Samsung as a great company to deal with!

I purchased this phone early April 2024 and are very happy with it. I switched to Samsung a couple of phones ago and have not been disappointed with my decision. Each model over the years has improved. The A35 5G has had good reviews and now that I have been using it for a few weeks, I can understand why. Transferring data from my old phone was very easy via the smart switch. The phone actually gives you information during the process to help make it smooth. Overall the phone is easy to set up.

I bought it specifically because this was the last model before Samsung got rid of the SD card slot and I didn't want to sell a kidney for the sake of a phone. I'm happy with the phone, it's great quality and does what I want it to all for a reasonable price. I'm not a huge app user and don't game on the phone, so the short comings I've read about online don't apply to me. The battery gets a minimum of two days usage (30%-90% charge for battery protection) of light use, internet surfing etc.

It's a decent phone. Keypad isn't as intuitive, predictive text slow. Aux input for headphones missing, that's a huge loss (Bluetooth isn't for everyone). Lockscreen and homescreen features aren't great. Can't access clock unless you have a clock widget, which you can't on lockscreen, so can't see time unless you unlock phone. Features are too hard to find in settings, nothing makes sense in there. But, it works fine, so, yeah. Not loving it but I have a phone so what am I complaining about.

Disappointed that there is no eSIM or Dual SIM. After doing quite a bit of research prior to purchase, I understood the phone would have an eSIM.

I purchased this item recently and I have found it to be fantastic value for money and a great all round phone. Whilst it isn't a "top of the line" product it certainly gives the feeling that I am using one.
The only thing I have an issue with is the performance varies from day to day however telstra are doing work in my rural area atm.
Over all I recommend this product to any one who is NOT after the absolute BEST. As it ticks EVERY box for me! (the normal every day person)!!

I have always been a bit resistant towards buying "Brand Name" phones as I think you sometimes pay more for the name than features - probably like some of the fruity sounding brands - but having been using the A35 for the best part of a month now I am more than happy.
It probably isn't the fastest unit on the planet, but I find the speed and the Samsung implementation of the Android O/S very acceptable for my needs.
I was fortunate in being able to buy the phone at a very reasonable price due to a discount being offered by my service provider as my current phone didn't look like it would be be fully compatible once the 3G network closed down, so always good to get a discount on a quality product.
All in all, very happy. Didn't take long to transfer my settings etc using the Samsung app so well done Samsung.

Voice to text dose not work.
Setting up to get emails is always a problem.
Bigsby may be great when you sort it out.
If you are a computer teck this may all be simple.
Help is often not help.Its not as you think.
If it was you would send a simple manual with the phone.
May be when the younger people grow up it may be
Simple for all.
When it comes down to it. If you are not computer teck
It takes a long time to sort it out .

I was specifically looking for phone with more RAM than my A32 but not at an eye-watering price and the A35 worked for me.
6GB of RAM makes it more responsive when I'm comparing products via supermarket apps or checking the aisle in a hardware shop app, or quickly calling up maps.
The battery life is also great when I'm squandering it on games...
And my first night-time happy snap was brilliant without my having to fiddle with anything.

If you are looking for a cheaper alternative option, this phone is brilliant and does a great job on everyday calling and receiceving notifications. Unfortunately for the fast texting type of people, I would recommend going for the S series. Every S series I have had has been brilliant. From S4, S7 edge, S9, S20+ and S22+. Current looking to acquire the S24+ or Ultra. Samsung are hands down the best on the market.
I also have the A34 and A15.

My wife and I have a great experiences with Samsung phone over the past 10yrs, the purchase of the A35's is our third purchase each. They have performed extremely well, have been super reliable and we have no reason to think the A35's we now have will be any different. We have only had them a short time and they have been great so far , the change over was seemless using Samsung switch app. Happy days which I am sure will continue.

I need a backup hand piece for family visiting from overseas. I was using a Galaxy S6 Edge, but was informed it would not work in emergency situations when 3G closes this month. So I bought an A35.
I cannot think of a better change up. The A53 pretty much does everything, except wirelessly charge.
I am thinking of using this for a while in place of my S23 Ultra it is that good.
Here's hoping for years of trouble free backup.

I've had this A35 5G for 2 weeks and I'm still making adjustments. I'm happy with the phone's features but annoyed with some elements of day to day use, I can't yet tailor simple things like contacts which show an image of that person which makes it so much easier when scrolling. It is also tedious having to expand, once selected, to make the call. I don't recall having to do this on my old A51. Am I missing something here?

I bought this as a Samsung replacement and the transition was so simple and stress free. Love the upgrade I made and am loving the new phone. Brilliant features and more storage as well as a better camera and the phone is waterproof to a certain degree so I won't ruin it by dropping it in water. I would recommend the Samsung Galaxy A35 to anyone who wants value for money from a modern unique phone. Well done Samsung!

Purchased a little over a week ago and so far impressed with the phone and features. Great vibrant screen which is great for browsing and watching videos with, silky smooth operation with barely any lags or hiccups especially with the dynamic refresh rate, happy with the dual speakers creating an immersive experience for games and multimedia, reliable network signals and clear call clarity, network speeds over WIFI and data are fast and also dependable, impressive camera for the price producing clear and vibrant pictures to smooth videos, and was the easiest device to setup coming from another Samsung A-Series phone. I’m definitely happy that the device will receive updates for five years giving me extra reassurance with this purchase, just as my previous Samsung device did. Looks wise, easily looks more expensive than it is with the glass back when out and about and definitely an eye catcher with the Ice Blue colour. While it doesn’t come with a 3.5mm headphone jack, bluetooth connectivity with my wireless headphones and earphones work as they should with shorter connecting times than other devices I have. While it could benefit from faster charging speeds (or a charger in the box), still happy enough with the charging speed too. Always loved the security features especially having secure folders to the on-screen fingerprint sensor that works well and reliably.
Overall, for an all-in-one device this one goes above and beyond. Based on my experience so far I’m more than impressed with this phone and looking forward to future trips using this device. An easy phone to recommend

I am satisfied with my new phone. Its speed and quality are good and suitable. Only the front camera inside the screen is very visible, while in previous models the camera was not visible at all. In addition, the fingerprint sensor was located on the power button in the A23 model and was almost hidden but accessible, but in this model, this sensor is located on the screen and I liked the previous mode more.

A rather new learning curve. Lots of new programs to learn, and we, my wife and myself, are not too computer/phone savvy. We are relatively sure that we will learn the programs in the two phones we have purchased in the near future. Practice makes perfect, comes to mind. We had decided to update our phones because Telstra is discontinuing 3G, and only supporting 4G with data on our Galaxy5 mobiles.

I very recently upgraded from a A11 to an A35 model. I am so impressed by how fast this unit is compared to the older model. I also find it holds it's charge for a lot longer. I was needing to charge my old model several timer per day but not with this one. I am more than happy by continuing to purchase Samsung products. In fact, I even purchased a new Samsung Smart TV two days ago!

I bought the Samung A35 5G a week ago now and so far am very impressed with this budget-friendly phone.
The A35 is easy to set up and use, looks and feels high quality and is perfect for my personal use.
The only downside is that the battery doesn't seem to retain as much charge as other models, however it still makes it through the day and evening with moderate use.

As a senior it suits my needs perfectly and then some. It is my one stop shop for everything now. It helps me manage my health (Diabetes, Blood oxygen, Heart rate all via bluetooth) and exercise plus has great music access. It has a perfect camera with great easy to use features so I now no longer need my DLSR. In short it is fast, on Wifi 6, 4g and 5g and affordable.

TELSTRA'S decision to drop the 3g network prompted to buy a new mobile.

I am still learning all the features but so far very happy with this phone. Would recommend including a phone charger and instructions manual with phone. It also has no earphone jack which means I can not use my earphones. Telstra offered a good price so that makes up for any functionality missing compared to my old Galaxy 5 notes which I had for over 10 years.

I bought this a few weeks ago to get the 5G capability when I needed a new phone. Price was good and features and accessories are easy to get. Apps are easy to use and verified by play protect, so safe! The phone is very light weight and has tough glass. USB C is great and so compatible. Screen is bright and the camera is excellent too. Battery lasts forever.

I bought it simply because I destroyed my OPPO.. It was less than $500 Aud and its pretty good for the price. 5G, decent battery, has most of the new security features; finger print security ect. I think with how many phones are on the market these days, unless you are doing something like content creation, this is a great middle ground. Can't complain.

I believe the phone offers good value for its price. It comes with impressive specifications, especially in terms of the chipset, cameras, and RAM. However, I do wish that it had an IP68 rating instead of IP67, and the front selfie camera could have higher resolution compared to the A55, its slightly more expensive counterpart with similar features.

I've been using samsung for many years and this was another regular upgrade for me. Getting it on sale for $299 AUD was the deciding factor. It's great phone if you are used to Samsung's lay out etc. It does everything it says it will. The screen is a huge improvement for me having upgraded from the A51 (to my a while). Well worth it

After a month's use I'm happy to recommend the A35 to all who want a "well-priced" phone with excellent features. Transferring from my old A14 was a breeze. The phone features have worked excellently and so much quicker than my old phone. The screen is clear and easy to read and very responsive to touch.
Overall an excellent phone.

As an Android user my favourite company to purchase is definitely Samsung, Samsung devices have the best camera, features and the quality on their devices are impeccable. I would definitely purchase again from Samsung. For anyone looking to shop for any device I would definitely recommend to shop here at Samsung. Love it so much!!!

Given to me as a birthday present by my wonderful family I am more than happy with their choice. It is so simple to use, the sim card was changed over from the old Samsung and from then on it was a breeze. I bought the Wallet to house it in, love it too, next I will buy the screen saver to stick over the screen and that's it.

Purchased my first Samsung phone just 10 days ago. The Smart Switch App made transfer of information from another Android so much simpler than my previous experiences. Along with the Knox Vault, which adds to my sense of security for financial apps, I feel very satisfied with my purchase.

I've had my A35 one week, upgraded from A12.
Finding new features every day. Much faster charging & start up. Really pleased I bought it over 36 months with Vodafone shop in Robina Queensland. Staff member Ingrid most helpful.
I'd highly recommend this model A35 5g.
Ideal for seniors, not too many features we'd never use.

I bought this phone recently since all 3G phones were shut down in Australia recently. Started using this phone and works flawlessly. Very sleek and good looking phone. Camera quality with that price is also very good. Light weight and fits the pocket easily. Highly recommend for someone looking for a budget friendly price

My work team all needed new phones and some of the newer staff had not been issued with phones. Given the price of $549.00 each I thought the A35 model maybe an older version or slightly superseded. So I was very surprised, and pleases, when advised that it is a relatively new release.Great phone with great features.

I bought this online in Samsung Shop app. It was a nice experience with the shop app first buy discount and charger and smart tag gifts. It arrived very quickly and I love the phone. It has everything I need. Speed, quality and decent price. Would be good to have wireless charging too. But not a deal breaker.

I bought the phone 2-3 weeks ago. I had a small budget for smart phone to my new small business. Since I use Samsung and I have so much Samsung products I decided to try the A serious, and I was very surprised.
The phone is very good for my business staff, and it can be also good for first phone foe kids.

This was a Mothers Day present from my 4 children as I was using a 3g samsung and very limited to what I could do. This new phone is fantastic and there is no limit to what I can see, find and do with it. It was so easy transferring my apps and numbers from my old phone to the new. I am so happy!!!!!!!

I recently upgraded from a Samsung S9+ to a A35 what a massive improvement. I realise this phone is still a little old but I only use it for the basics that I need. The phone internet and storge are great as well as the camera improvements. I would recommend this phone to anyone that wants a faster phone.

Bought 2 x A35 last week as upgrade from A31for myself and to replace partners phone which died. Much faster with 5G. Transferred sim card from A31 and there's looking back. Paired easily with Samsung Tab A9, same layout, same performance.
As always very satisfied with all our Samsung products.

I have upgraded from an S9 to the A35, and I have to say it is definitely an upgrade, longer battery, bigger screen, 120hz, alot clearer camera, 1/3 faster than s9 and on top of that the speaker when on phone calls is amazingly clear!!
Well done samsung, I feel like I'm holding a 1200$ phone !!!

I am delighted with the tactile response and speed of my glass backed A35. The design with flat sides gives me more confidence to hold it but I will need a clear case in case I drop it. Around speed is much faster than the Motorola and the screen is brighter out doors making photography easier.

I replaced my A14 5G, with an A35 5G. I realy like my new device, it's crystal clear listen too (unlike the A14). It has all the same features + some of the A14
What I really like is I got the Samsung wallet back, lost it when replacing my S7 with the A14.
Great value for money spent.

I've had my a35 for about a month now and it's definitely worth 5 stars. Firstly the price, with the features no other phone in it's class comes close. Easy to set up and transfer everything over to the a35. Cameras, both still and video are much better than I expected. Love this phone.

I recently got a Samsung A35 finally!! I have been without a Samsung for 2 years and I couldn't wait for my old phone contract to end. I love this phone, it's so easy to use and has every feature you could wish for.I highly recommend. I will never get any other brand but a Samsung .

I bought it a few weeks ago and absolutely love it. The camera is good, and the fullscreen display and well-being settings help me to track my screen time, control features that help to control my smart TV and it works amazingly with my other Samsung devices. Overall I just love it
