I bought the flip 3 less than a year ago, the screen has cracked twice exactly the same way, in the same part. It starts like a little scratch that gets bigger until it doesn't respond anymore, samsung says it is due to physical damage. Common guys, it is not a coincidence that for thousands of people it cracks the same way. Photos are all over the internet. If you are thinking to get one of this, avoid yourself a headache and get another reference. The nice look doesn't match the price and quality of this device. Plus the anger you feel when they tell you you have to pay for the repair when it clearly is a failure in the design.

The selfie preview on the front screen...? Gamechanger. This phone software is intuitive- the virtual assistant Bixby has been very valuable to me. I lost my soft palate from an autoimmune disorder 3 years ago and I have a speech disability but after a short period of sampling my voice Bixby understands me! I can use voice texting for the first time in a while which makes my life so much easier. I cannot say enough great things about the Samsung Galaxy Zflip 4. Try this phone and see what your favorite features are!

The Display is sharp and Smooth the only tiny problems are the crease and the larger hole punch camera. The cameras are mediocre not excellent but not terrible, the one thing I would love to see on a future flip would be a telephoto camera because the digital zoom is pretty bad. The battery life is better than the 3 but still could use lots of improvements, usually I get through most of the day and then have to top it off. The performance is good since its powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. Overall the Z Flip 4 is a great phone for anyone who wants a foldable at a more reasonable price.

I bought the Z Flip 4 as an upgrade from the original Z Flip and I've been super happy. The water resistance in particular is something I was sorely missing on the original, and it's very impressive that they've pulled it off on the newer models. The camera is a surprising improvement too; similar specs, but vastly more vibrant photos on the newer model. Great! My only complaint is that the new hinge does not hold shut as firmly as the old one. There's a tiny bit of wobble while the phone is folded up. It isn't devastating but it would be nice to see this resolved in a future model; perhaps magnets at the top and bottom tips of the phone?

I have had each iteration of the flip and this is the second one that the screen protector has lifted with a bubble at the fold. This is not a good track record. Having a phone that has an issue is an unfortunate occurrence. Having two phones in a row have the same occurrence is a manufacturing issue or design issue. I will in all likelihood get a Z Flip 5 when they become available but it will more than likely not be my daily driver. I find the thought of going back to a candy bar style phone repulsive but with that said I will more than likely upgrade one of my Z Flip 4 phones to an S23 Ultra.

Another feature that I enjoy is the flipping motion! Having a flip phone makes me very nostalgic and allows me to enjoy the memories I have of using a flip phone. I switched from using an Apple Iphone 12 pro due to not being satisfied with the design of that phone and the quality. This wonderful samsung came to my rescue allowing me to create new memories! Everyday I am learning new features, whether its creating the AR emojis and sending them as a GIF or even just feeling youthful just because I am now a proud owner of a flip phone again!

Wanted one of Samsung's folding phones ever since they were released! I did have the 3, but upgraded for the 4 recently. Both are fantastic - I think the 4 may have slightly better battery life? I can't fault either, both are great phones. My favourite elements are that when folded, it can fit in the front pocket of tight jeans, and slides easily into my tiny handbag (I don't carry much!). Other great thing is being able to flip to answer calls, close it to end calls, and swipe from the cover screen for the call to automatically go on speaker. Such small things, but they make me happy! Also, gifs on the cover screen are a bit of fun.

However, there are some shortcomings in key areas that leave me wanting more. The biggest gripe I have is the camera quality. In moderate to low light, with or without movement in frame, the camera struggles to produce clear, sharp photos. As a parent of young children, this is extremely troubling to me. No settings changes have helped the issue. I would expect more on a flagship phone like the flip 4, especially when my years-older Motorola takes much better photos. The novelty of the flip is nice, and the UI is great. Battery life is good. Performance is great.

The Back camera has such beautiful quality and would take beautiful pictures with it !! I use it everyday and never had any technical issues with it. Every time i play games, it's super great quality and not slow. same with watching any streaming. i very much love the aesthetics of the phone and the customization on the phone. Only problem that bothers me is that the screen is too sensitive as I have some permanent scratches on my phone, specifically one in the middle of the screen and a tiny scratch on my front camera lens. I overall love this phone and would recommend !!

the phone is cool. It has quite a few google applications included which make it practical and functional. I couldn't download some of my apps which are obviously only on Ios, it would be nice for Samsung to think about expanding its catalog of apps if they want to remain ultra competitive. Apart from this annoying point, the phone has very good video quality, the processor is fast and allows you to multitask efficiently. There is no cut in the middle of the screen, I really appreciate when I watch my videos. Its grip is very pleasant, and the fact that it is foldable is cool because it is always in my pocket. I'm pretty happy with this little phone.

The fold in the screen of the inner display become almost invisible once the phone is fully opened up, so that you're getting flawless browsing or viewing, which is essential when the display is this good. I bought this a couple of weeks ago. I've always had Samsung galaxy phones and love them but am sick of not being able to fit them in my jeans pockets. Women's pants hey? This thing is awesome. It's basically the same as my Galaxy s21 BUT FITS IN MY POCKET. YAY. I'm still a bit concerned about the hinge but it feels really solid so I'm quietly hopeful that I get a good couple of years out of it. The crease in the screen takes a little bit to get used to but isn't overly noticeable when actually using the phone. Just feels a little strange when running your finger over it. Over all I'm a very happy camper at this early stage. ☺️

But nowadays with how ubiquitous smartphones are it wasn't something I really had a choice in. Thatball the changed with the zflip4. It takes up just the the right amount of space and often gets compliments to boot. It's functionality and use is not hindered and all by it's form factor. Also an added plus is I find myself not endlessly staring at my.ohone like zombie. Any notification I need I can get right off the cover screen. It's helped lighten the load of modern day phone addiction. If only the made a case with a built in battery then I would have nothing at all to desire. Hahaha

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This phone is my first flagship phone and it has not disappointed me yet. The cover screen is a unique feature in itself. To be able to select photos, gifs and videos is a great feature. Streaming is fast, the camera was way better than my last phone and the foldable feature is amazing. It puts an nostalgic feel when arguments over the phone are ended by clapping it shut! Only thing that gets annoying is when the screen protector starts to bubble up on the crease, but that's an easy fix. Might just have to change it out far more often then you would a regular phone. But overall, it's a great phone. Can't wait to see what the flip 5 and 6 has in store.

Phone is very fast and responsive moving among tasks, Display is bright and beautiful. Build quality feels very solid. I have had zero issues to date. I honestly am still learning all the different things you an do with the phone while partially or fully folded. Also like how seamlessly it interacts with the watch. I get numerous positive comments o the phone and Co workers want to play around with it often. As I said my first Samsung phone and I am indeed impressed.

I've had this phone since it's release date and I've just recently had to get a new phone because unfortunately they screen has finally stopped working. Didn't drop it or anything. It's just a part of the folding phones. They aren't built to last. I really hope they can improve the durability. I also would like the cameras to be better. It's advertised as a phone for content creators but has horrible camera quality. Other than the durability and cameras I loved everything about this phone. It was nice to be able to fit it in my pockets and I hope they continue to improve so I can get another flip in the future. But for now I need something more reliable

I particularly enjoy how compact it is in my pocket, which feels much more secure than having part of it sticking out. I still have more to learn about its features. The only drawback I've experienced is that air bubbles that obscured the view became a problem at the fold, eventually necessitating going to an approved shop to get ithe protective covering replaced. I've had the phone less than a year. Even though Samsung generously paid for the repair, it cost me several hours of my day. And I'm a bit nervous that it may have to be repeated in the future, which Samsung will not pay for.

The size is best above other phones since it is great for elderly and arthritic people. It is easier to hold than most phones. It would be great to offer a case for it that could hold money, charge cards,and change, a stylus and a finger holder would be a must have. It's great that it folds and can fit in my pocket. The typing would be better if it was made for large and finger triggers. More memory should be standard. Battery life is terrible. I'm lucky to watch a whole movie . The sound could be better since I have tinnitus. Just some thoughts from an old lady .

The screen on it is very nice and bright, you'll see a bit of a crease but it's not terribly distracting. When it's folded it's small and compact but it still has weight to it so you'll still feel it in your pocket and what not. The battery life is very nice and the mini screen on the front is useful when you want to check something really quick and not be distracted by opening the whole phone. On top of the fact that the phone is VERY customizable. 10/10 purchase.

Was a little worried I wouldn't like it, but boy was I wrong. The compact design makes it easier to carry and store. The screen size isn't much smaller than that of the Ultra. Lost some cameras but I own 3 dslr cameras so that's not a bug deal, bit the camera quality is actually really good. I've had this phone since it's release and I love it. The battery life is all day, I only charge it one a day and that's at bed time on a wireless charger. It works perfectly with my watch and buds. A

I purchased the first z flip when it came out. Within a few months my phone started freezing and I had to get the Samsung team to get it sorted. I then upgraded the z flip to the latest version when it was up for pre booking in August 2022. Within a month , the screen in the middle has cracked and I have been going through hoops to try and get it sorted. It's still not sorted though u have a full insurance and have secured it via Samsung websites monthly plan deals. I would never buy the flip series again as a few of my friends have faced the exact same issue-screen cracking in the middle Within weeks of purchasing the this new z flip series! Absolutely gutted

I love my new phone so much, dont feel worried of the screen cracking when i drop it and is perfect with my case. You cant see the line when the phone is facing you and i love the front camera, perfect if i want to take a photo and it being really windy or if its raining. I would recommend getting a case straight away even if its a cheap case as mine has protected my phone so much. There are so many new features im finding out and its so cool. very good with my samsung buds + and samsung buds 2 pro. Im planning on getting a tab s8 ultra tablet soon once ive saved the money up! looks so cool as i can link my phone to it and use it for college. 10000% recomment

The design is sleek, the technology is impressive in it's build, the only down is the battery. Normally after a while batteries began to decrease however straight out the box I noticed my battery would go down quickly. The upside is it's a quick charge but need to have a charging source. The phone itself from the front screen while closed is amazing to when you open it and fully engage in it's features is worth the battery fiasco. If you're looking for a sleek and sexy phone that won't take allot space this is the phone for you.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I previously owned Z Flip 1 and 3, and can say that with each generation, the device has improved The new device has much better screen response and less lag when scrolling and seems to have a much smoother hinge. Gone is the annoying click and gap that seemed to pull in debris and dust. The camera app also seems much improved along with some of the gesture support actually functioning, versus only being there in name only. I recently tried the Z Fold and can say that the Flip device is for me. The compact nature, the gaming capabilities and the solid camera functions when folded simply solve so many use cases for me in my personal and professional life.

It's weird it also has a magnetic on the front. The camera is great and you can do cool editing things with it. I also receive compliments on it almost everyday. I pre ordered the flip 4 in blue (which looks more purple then blue) samsung sent it to me over a week early before it's release date. I've enjoyed this phone and have had no issues at all. I am paranoid about the durability of the screen from the reviews/complaints and photos of the screen breaking. But it's given me personally no issues so I'll give samsung the benefit of the doubt. So onto the phone itself. It's fast, it's screen is beautiful it's sound is amazing. Great work samsung My only annoyances are battery isn't the best and the aspect ratio means videos and games don't fill up the screen which leaves big black bars at the side (but it's awesome to scroll and browse the internet) Overall for me personally it's pretty good I'd recommend this phone

It literally does everything I can think of and even a few things I didn't think of. I now use my phone to pay for things by just tapping it at the register which is great because I'm notorious for forgetting my cards. I love the wearable app so much that I bought Samsung earbuds and a galaxy watch just so I could use my phone more. And those are awesome too, never thought earbuds could do so much. I was not a Samsung fan before I got the flip, now I doubt I'll ever buy anything else.

The Z Flip 4 is a really beautiful phone, and the design is interesting. I must admit I was first afraid of having a phone that flips because I was thinking that something might happen to the screen as it looked so smooth in the pictures, almost surreal. After intensive research I discovered that is is meant to be flipped hundreds of thousands times without problems. As per the quality of the videos and pictures, I do think is really high, and the sound is clear. In terms of battery life, I would say that it lasts around 2 days with normal use, and around 1 day if you like to overspend on it. The 3 years warranty from manufacturer is a plus as well. Very pleased overall

I bought this phone when It first came out and I was super excited. I actually switched from IPhone to Samsung since I was very intrigue with the flip design. WORST DECISION EVER!!! I rarely drop my phone and the one time I do from a not so high distant. The hinge broke and I could no longer fold. It would only go half way. Customer Service was very helpful and luckily I did not have to pay out of pocket to get it fix due to the Warranty. A month Later here I am again and now I hear a click everytime I open and close my phone. Now I have to go back and get it fix AGAIN and that is all in a span of 5 months. I am totally ready to switch back due to this continuous issue.

The battery does take time to get used to as it is a shorter life but with this phone its pretty good! A downside would be the camera since its zooming in feature isnt as good and sometimes the camera in dark settings isnt ideal but overall its pretty good! I dont worry that much about the creasing but after having this phone from launch i am barely starting to see a crease which isnt that bad of a fix! Overally i really do love this phone like the first time i got it! It has cool features that i never get bored of and it really is a remarkable phone to have!

I would definitely recommend this device for anyone who is looking to upgrade from an older phone. The ONLY two complaints I have are the battery and android. For the most part, android runs smoothly. However, it is definitely noticeably lagging than other Android flagships. The second complaint is battery. For the average consumer, you will probably end the day with about ~15% remaining with a 10-15 minute charge in the middle of the day. Overall, I would definitely recommend this device to anyone looking to upgrade. If you have relatively newer device, I would probably wait.

I also here and there will see lines where the screen is obviously having pixel problems. Also the phone is showing great wear already on the screen, its only been 4 months.. I am taking it in this week for repair but what exactly am I suppose to use for A phone if it takes awhile to repair?? Loaner phone I hope or even better my phone back that day repaired. I see myself switching back to their competitor before long bc this phone is far from impressive and i am greatly disappointed.

Have had my Zflip for four months and I Love it! The camera is amazing, the edit features built in are usually something you have to download extra apps and pay premium prices for. This pretty little thing gets lots of attention too. Every time I pull it out of my pocket and open it someone inevitably asks me about it. I'm pretty sure my Zflip 4 has convinced a couple people to move over from the phones with the fruit on them! The only thing I would change is the slim design makes handling the Zflip 4 very easy to accidentally press buttons you don't need to. The outside display is convenient and you can take pictures with it while the Zflip is closed!!! So much fun.

I bought this phone along with my fold 4. And I must say I love it as well.. I can never choose which to use.. but the pocketable size is perfect for work.. while my fold 4 I use for days off. So far this phone is amazing but it lacks in two categories. The battery although not giving me major issues I would like it to last a bit longer. And second is the cameras. I like the cameras but wouldn’t mind ultra cameras on such a flagship device. Like I stated in my fold 4 review. Aside from that it’s pretty perfect. On and on the color I am a guy who likes the pink gold color with the peach leather case.. it’s a go..

It's been several weeks since I received my phone. I am very happy with the photo and video quality. The included filters and the zoom allow you to make beautiful videos for snap! I'm a social media junkie, and my battery lasts most of the day, while I post stories all day. the memory included is not huge (I chose a 128) but with an sd card, the memory is almost infinite. Voice control is cool for taking photos and videos remotely. I briefly saw the google apps included, and they are great, and they are accessible from any menu (google translate and google lens in particular). very happy with my mini smartphone!

But year after year (this my 4th z flip phone) I still end up wishing I had a better camera. For a while I just settle for the compromise. Great phone, compact, hi tech but mediocre camera. I even got my self a mirror less camera for those moments where I actually want to take a photo. But then I realize that there are some events where I need a reliable phone camera, and this is not it. I have to say, I'll wait for the next version but I might just find myself getting a different device with the spec that I need.

Not only because of it's flip feature, it has very helpful apps, it has various tools to use in settings. The camera is very nice and the pictures it takes are of high quality. The only reason for the four stars is the battery life is not as optimal as it should be. Coming from a phone that lasted up to 16 hours a day. The flip4 only works for me for 5-6 hours before it needs to be recharged. That said it does have a lightening fast charging system, that restores battery life quickly. Even with that, this phone is one of the best I've ever owned.

This is the worst phone! 2 month after purchase, the pixels started blacking out. Spot grew larger by the hour. Eventually, half the phone was black. Could not do anything with the phone since the blacked out area would not respond. Samsung replaced the screen. Their service was great. Three to four month later the screen is failing again. I have been careful not to fold the phone, only doing it occasionally. Kept it in a case. Doing what I could to maintain the integrity of the screen. It failed! Line starting to form along the fold. Bottom half of the screen is flickering and flashes green lines.

Samsung decided that would simply not stand with thier design of their z flip series. I love my flip because it folds up to a convenient size to store in pockets or bags, and its cover screen has inbuilt features to control spotify without the need to open my phone! The ability to half fold my phone to use as a pseudo laptop for video calls is also a plus when the need to multitask often has my hands occupied and unable to hold up a phone.

I was a bit hesitant to pull the trigger and purchase it though, mainly over concern about the "crease" and durability of the phone with glass that would fold. Finally purchased after reading a lot of reviews and frankly glad that I did. The crease is not an issue. Honestly I don't even notice it. No issues with the glass either. This phone is superior to any Samsung phone I've ever had. It has Samsung's fastest processor and takes excellent pictures although the camera doesn't have all the bells and whistles that larger phones feature. All things considered I have zero complaints with the Z Flip.

Galaxy flip 4 is a very good mobile in the view of features, performance and design. I am a big fan of samsung flagship mobiles. I bought this product in the pre booking itself along with 1 year additional warranty. Now I am facing a dispaly issue while flipping. The screen is getting on and off. Its not even 18 months till now. And the diplay cost is around 28000/-. How fair is this? There is no physical damage on the mobile aswell. Not even a single mark even on the body but now this issue has arrived. I would not suggest anyone to take flip/fold mobiles further from my side. This makes me really unhappy.

I bought the Zflip 4 in October 2022. After a few months the phone's screen malfunctioned and would not open past 90 degrees. Because it was still under warranty, Samsung sent me a replacement phone. Now in December 2023 the screen on my replacement has completely stopped responding. I'm unable to get a replacement because the warranty technically starts on the original purchase date and not on the replacement date. I'm pretty disappointed that the flip 4 that I received couldn't even last one year before malfunctioning. I love Samsung phones but I do not recommend purchasing any of their flip phones.

The preinstalled screen protector on the zflip4 is horrible. I had it replaced under warranty through ubreakifix the other day and it's already peeling up again in the same spot it did on the original screen protector. it's a flaw in the design. The phone is pretty cool, speed and battery no issues, i've had the phone almost 6 months and it just started peeling right when the heat picked up here in arizona. Had it replaced not 2 days ago and doing the same thing. Also the hinge sometimes does make a noise it's done it ever since i bought the phone so I think more work on design is still needing to be done.

With its improved hinge design, 120hz refresh rate, and its stunning camera specs, it perfectly suits my needs. It's great for those that have struggled with the desire for a bigger screen but don't have suitable space in their pockets or purses. With the Flip4, it is also nice to be able to take selfies, check notifications, and control music without having to open it up! Since joining the flip community, I have felt more present in my daily life without having to sacrifice the growing need for smart devices in everyone's daily lives.

I miss my Note 10 Plus and the S-Pen, but I keep dropping it so I settle for this design. Going from a Note 10 plus to the flip is quite a sad downgrade. I feel the Z line is such a premium brand, it should have better stuff on their phone. The flip is long, wish it was wider. The crease is hardly noticeable until you run your fingers on the screen and remember that it is there. I do love the little front smart screen. It's quite useful without wasting battery but some apps, you need to access by having to flip the phone open. Overall, get this phone if you want compact.

But turns out it was a double edged sword since the hinge is the weakest part of the phone. Pros: dual screen, long battery life, sleek design, best night camera I've ever used on a phone, fold feature great for taking selfies or asthetic pictures. Cons: hinge is incredibly weak. Learned after the fact that hinge problems are so common, you have to send the phone into the manufacturer for repair, can't go into an authorized repair shop. Definitely invest in a strong screen/phone case.

I bought the Z Flip 4 in late October. I was hoping with it's foldability, it would securely fit in my pocket reducing the risk of accidental drops. I broke the phone within the week by dropping it less than 1/2 a foot of the floor. The hinge broke and I had to get it replaced. A few weeks ago, the same thing happened with my replacement, but this time it had a very strong case on it. It broke in the same way. I WOUlD NOT RECOMMEND this product to anyone who drops their phone AT ALL. It is a very fragile phone and I am now having to regrettably end my use of Samsung phones because they are too fragile.

It's lightweight, but packs a punch. The speaker is loud for both music and on phone calls. The phone is easy to customize as well as navigate. The only drawback to this device is the line in the screen where it folds. As time went on, it became more noticeable until an air bubble developed. Samsung offered a replacement screen protector, I'm not sure how long it will stay intact. Overall I'd recommend this phone if you are the type of person who changes devices regularly.

I'm trying to think of any complaints I have but none come to mind right now. I guess if I had to nit pick it would be software and not hardware that's lacking.. I would like the outer screen to do more than a few widgets I rarely use and limited notification information. It would be great if I could do most frequently used functions without opening the phone. I purchased the watch 5 along with the phone and not having to open as much is a bonus for sure. I love that I get this huge screen when I flip it open but for most things the outer screen should be more than sufficient screen space.

If you love Samsung get the s22 ultra. If you like the idea of a foldable phone, a unique device and to see extent a talking point then get the flip 4. This is a good phone. Flexible and durable. The battery is what you would expect from this exceptionally thin device. I am in danger of not giving this phone the good review it deserves but I think it all comes down to who you are and what you use a phone for. I am in business so I consequently have 5 different emails coming to my phone on push. It's no good for me. If you just use your phone like an average person then I would definitely recommend

Not a fan of the belt clips for phones I can just drop the flip 4 in my pocket and not feel like I have a surface pro in my pants. Aside from that the screen is nice and it's neat to have two windows open at once. Battery life is as you'd expect with these kinds of phones. Really though it's the best phone I've had. The one downside is you can't have a sound play when you open your phone. I just want that fun star trek tricorder sound to play when I open it.

I didn't know that I would be able to play old retro games that I played when I was younger on it. I'm even able to by a controller that turns my phone into a Gameboy. I'm also loving that I'm able to customize my phone so easily with lots of variety to choose from. It makes me enjoy being on my phone. And the phone being able to flip is also very cool. I love the fold of the phone and the things you can do with the photos. The battery life doesn't last long compared with other phones I've had (fully frains every day) - but that hasn't inconvenienced me. After 6 months the screen started to bubble and worsened over the following months - trying to get Samsung to sort this was not straight forward and because there was a chip from putting a phone case on - so they said replacing the screen would be charged. (This doesn't make sense as the screen cannot break or look like this from being dropped). The bubbled screen makes it difficult to do anything on the phone and completely ruined anything I liked about it. No idea on cost to fix it.

Initially, I loved the phone, but don't ever drop it or you will be out of luck! dropped it with a case on it after having the phone a month. went through the trouble of sending it back to Samsung. Although the phone was a month old I was still charged as it didn't fall under warranty :( it was fine I was happy to get my phone back only to mistakenly drop it again after a few months and have the same problem.. unable to open the phone fully and unable to use the top half of the screen. Don't get me wrong I love the phone, but don't waste your money unless of course you can be super careful with it

Don't waste your money. To lines magically appeared across the screen where the phone folds. Samusang are fully aware this is an ongoing fault. Firstly I couldn't use the top half of the phone, now I can't use it at all. I had nothing but problems with the speaker from when I first purchased the phone, sent it to Samsung to fix came back with the same problems. Now I am unable to access my phone at all, Samsung will not fix it because they say my phone has wear and tear. Been using Samsung for over 15 years and the despicable treatment I received today, I will no longer be staying loyal to Samsung.

I love being able to look at notifications, play music, check the weather, or even make a phone call without having to open the phone. I've had it for roughly a month and haven't been upset by it's performance. The screen is bright and high quality. Yes, there is a noticeable groove where the screen folds, but I don't find it to ditract from the usability of the Z Flip 4. The battery generally lasts all day from one good charge. The phone has many different customization options with themes and general settings that allow for even more fun to an already fun device.

I have been using this phone for only a month now. Not a good purchase - for the amount of money I have spent on this - the screen all of sudden is not working - there is a black line on the hinge and it keeps expanding - the touch on the upper screen stopped working (and I have been handling this phone with utmost care). This phone is not worth it. I have taken it to the service center because its still under warranty but what if it happens again - I tend to use my phones for at least 3 years I highly doubt this will make it past 3 months. Don't recommend buying this phone. I WANT MY MONEY BACK.

It also provides outstanding protection for the screen since my keys can't scratch it. My only hesitation on recommending it is the lack of good slip free cases. The case I bought was good but it split in the corner after a couple of drops. My replacement case is hard plastic because I couldn't find an affordable case with the features i wanted. But that aside this is a great phone with good battery life and the flip feature really does provide a lot of flexibility for handling the phone. The camera is very good, though I do miss a telephoto lens occasionally.

Not worth the anxiety! Very fragile phone. Poor performance. Basic camera. Good idea but not a good product! I have broken the hinge and ultimately rendered it useless TWICE in two years. As well as two other flip phone 5's used for my business. It's been a nightmare because I'm stuck in a contract abd can only replace with same phone, knowing it will be just a matter of time it will fail again. The hassle of loosing your phone needed for work, the time to get help and have phone fixed or replaced, and reset, is just not worth it. Great idea but technology is not there yet. I'd rather have two screens separated by and ugly but durable hinge than haveing a seamless screen but always breaks.

After having this phone for 8 months and noticing problems with the hinge, finally the screen went dark and I could do nothing but send it back to Samsung for a repair. Luckily that repair was 100% free under warranty. Unfortunately my phone had not backed up for several days and I lost some very important information because Samsung would not back up my phone even though I put a note in with the repair package. I was unable to do this because I was unable to operate on screen controls, but Samsung didn't care about that. I do not trust that this phone will hold up for more than another 8 to 10 months before I will be stuck paying for an insurance copay to have the phone repaired once again.

The phone's hinge has a possibility to pop out with any slight fall or drop. It truly seems random whether any fall will pop out the hinge and then the screen will break from the hinge colliding from it. Samsung has replaced the screen for me both times free of charge and I am very thankful. I heavily recommend this phone I just recommend getting a case with a thick hinge gaurd. I have found that the only case that I've tried that successfully keep this from happening is the ONN rugged phone case. I love the phone and the features it has and I love Samsung's customer service. Just not the fragility of the phone.

Overall I love this phone, there are still a couple small quirks that I haven't had much issue from in my other galaxy devices. Loading speed seems to lag a bit even after optimization. The screen could also be a little more durable but I'm sure that will come with time. I feel like the Flip 4 is what a cell phone was meant to be, I don't need an coronal stand or to hold my phone during video calls or picture taking. My phone fits in the pocket of women's jeans without falling out. I tried it out to see and I actually love it.

But guess what, it does all the things I need it to do as well as be cool...all at the same time. Does it make phone calls...yep Send texts...yep I like that my screen is protected when closed. The wireless charging comes in handy. The pictures are really good...I'm not a huge picture taker but the few I have are very crisp. Oh, and I can surf the internet to avoid eye contact with strangers while waiting at the doctor's office...basically the only reason we all own phones.

The front screen is handy for seeing notifications and switching songs etc at a glance. Selfie mode is great for group shots, especially with the voice commands. I love having the big screen but the small form. It's veery striking to look at and feels very premium. Another really fun part is is a conversation piece, everybody asks about it and wants to hold it and do through flip. Also it's so very satisfying to hang up an annoying call by snapping it shut. I'd recommend it to anyone.

The best part is the ease in which the phone will fit in my pocket. Love the fold. Th battery is not great, but once I turned on battery saver it was much better. Before that I was charging it every 8 hours....I don't know if it is defective because either does overheat when charging. In any event on battery saver it last for the day now. I don't play video games or anything that would over use the battery. I do some light internet surfing and whatsapp calling and regular calling and texting.

Also it looks very cool and unique. Moreover I love to take picture with z flip becuase I can manage almost very angle of shots with z flip! Just only one thing which I am concerning ia hinge because it is easliy damaged when the phone falls on the ground. When the phone is opened and it falls, it is pretry secure. However, when the closed phone falls on the ground either high or low , the hinge is easy to be damaged ans scratched and the damaged hinge affects easily to open the phone screen. Except this one thing, I really satisfy using Z flip!

This phone is amazing! I love everything about it. Being able to flip it shut and fit it in any pocket is so useful. It takes great pictures and videos and has heaps of space. It's a better fit for me compared to my Galaxy Z Fold3. Don't get me wrong I love them both but the Galaxy Z Flip4 is an anywhere phone... meaning it's fit for any situation and fumble proof, which is great if your clumsy on the apps, buttons and general usage of smart phones. Beautiful to look at and Beautiful to use. I genuinely can not fault this phone. It's been a long time since I could say that about a phone.

bought at the beginning of the year, amazing. but as of last week, I'm going to have to say if you're a klutz DO NOT buy this phone. dropped once, with a good phone case on the phone, and it wouldn't open all the way. somehow managed to bust the hinge? so i had to keep closing and rework the hinge to get it to open. now the screen won't work properly. i keep loosing touch sensitivity in a few spots, having trouble unlocking the screen and even has a small ink splot in the fold. it all just took a complete 180 spin downhill this past week. love the idea of the phone, but it's not for me.

My phone has such awesome features, amazing multi-tasking mode, very cute themes, and takes the most amazing photos I've seen on any cellular device. But, sometimes my phone freezes out of nowhere, my battery life is not the greatest, and always choosing between using Samsung apps and Google apps can be a huge inconvenience. I just say pick one and don't have the other option pop up everytime I really need it in a hurry. I would've given it 5 stars because I really love my phone. But because of those issues I have with it, I gave it a 4/5 stars.

it's been a long time since i switched to apple. it's the technological innovation that made me want to test the z flip. a little disconcerting at first and you take it in hand, adjustment and simple interface. the flip phone is satisfactory and reminds me of my younger years so I am delighted. apart from that the image quality is great, using 2 apps at the same time and being able to put the z flip down with the screen facing away is really cool. superb quality photo. I am happy with this product but I'm just afraid that the interior screen is fragile.. we will know with time!!

Although on the surface the two phoneslook alike, under the cover I can see the improvements that Samsung has made from the predecessor: Better battery, faster charging, great processor, beter camera (only for the main lens). I am really happy with the foldable format, it fits perfectly any pocket and it's very convenient when in need of a stand to place the phone to make video calls or take pictures. Points that I would love the next model to improve are: even better battery, inclusion of a zoom/macro third camera, revamped front camera for selfies, more brighness under direct sunlight.

Bought the Flip 4 new at launch. After nearly 6 months of use im still finding new features. Battery life with moderate/high use is about a day which is an improvement over the Flip 3, also taking in to account the size of the phone/battery it is decent. The phone definitely feels and looks premium, I use without a case and have dropped it maybe 4 times with no issues which says a lot about the build quality. I like how it doesnt take up so much room in my pocket as my previous phone. One downside i would mention is certain apps are not designed to work with the phone, for example tik tok videos are cropped. I would think this would be optimised in the future as more people become users of Flip phones

After a couple of months of ownership I dropped the phone on the kitchen floor. There is now a tiny crack on the fold with black leaching in and a white line across the screen also at the fold. I've spoke to Samsung repair centre and they say if the phones been dropped its not covered by warranty. The operator also said "this is the first time that we've encountered the issue" I find this hard to believe as there are plenty of examples of this online. This appears to be a very fragile phone and Samsung are not interested in helping other than charging for a very expensive repair!!

Let me start by saying I usually love Samsung phones...but this one is absolute trash. I had to replace my first one due to issues with the charging port. My second one...well that tough as nails gorilla glass apparently is not that tough after all. My phone has an indentation on the screen and after taking it to T Mobile and speaking with a rep he said that something my have gotten in between the screen when i closed it...now my screen will not turn on. I have a phone case on it and have never dropped it in the 2.5 weeks that i have had it. Camera is also subpar but thats not really an issue more a preference. Again, I love Samsungs but I deeply regret upgrading from my Note 20 to this garbage device.

The phone never lags and is very fast and efficient. Upfates usually o ly take about 1-2 minutes to install. Phone is very user friendly. The fact that it folds also protects the screen. Especially if you carry it around in your pocket. My only negative is photo and video sharing with someone with an iphone is not very good. Pictures are always small and pixelated. However you can still send photos and videos through other messaging apps and it works just fine. Overall great product.

I went with the Bespoke model combining Khaki with a gold frame and it turned out great. I kind of wish I didn't feel the need to cover it up with a case! Day to day performance has been great and the battery tweaks versus the Z Flip3 are much appreciated. Samsung is really turning Foldables into a viable option for everyone. If you're tired of the same old slabs coming out year after year, it's time to "come into the fold!"

I've wanted a flip phone for so long, so I'm over the moon to have finally got one. I'm having slight issues, but I think these boil down to differences between my two previous Motorolas and the Z Flip4. I'll no doubt work them out when I have time to sit down and concentrate on doing it. I did love the ease with which I could move everything over from one phone to another, that was amazing. And being a pink / purple / sparkly sort of lady, I also love the colour! I do find that the battery life is not great, although as this was a refurb, perhaps it wasn't given a new battery..?

I like the phone.It does most of what I need but I noticed my Galaxy Buds on the Z Flip4 don't sound so full and rich. When I investigated in Developer Options, unlike my previous S10+ phone, I found that the excellent LDAC Bluetooth codec cannot be selected. It is greyed out with the message that it's not supported by this phone. Only the SBC default codec is selectable, which is lossy. I found that setting up fingerprint recogition was fiddly. I thought it wasn't going to work but I kept at it, repeating and repeating until the indicator reached full circle. Apart from that, the phone looks and feels lovely but i would only recommend the phone to someone who was not bothered about using it for music.

Have you ever sat down to dinner with a normal phone in your front pocket. First you really can't with the cut of modern pants and it is darn uncomfortable. Back pocket, not really. So what do we do. We place in the partners bag or on the table.first place annoys the partner 2nd place just rude. SO WHAT DI YOU DO? You purchase a Z Series flip and all your problems are solved. OH, and by the way it can sit neatly in shirt pockets and business suits close to your heart. As to the operating system. This is my fourth Samsung and the haver never missed a beat. This is no exception

When folded in my high-waisted pocket, it doesn't stab me in the liver. Wish there were more options to customize the cover screen. Being able to select which toggle buttons to show, or having the option to choose Google pay rather than Samsung pay are some missing features that I wish it had. Battery is decent for Samsung, especially after the optimization period. A downgrade from my Oneplus 7T for sure though. More often than not it'd have to be topped up midway through the day.

I just bought the flip 4 and was very happy. I did own a Flip 3 before, as compared Flip 4 give a smoother touch, brighter/vivider screen and the golden pink lining is just simply pretty and stylish. This is absolutely a mobile for the ladies who are struggling to put everything in a small handbag, with the flipping function that's save the space. Also love the split screen view option, so handy, I had my friend SMS me her banking details, I then opening up my bank app in a split view, making it so easy to transfer the money without going to and from between 2 different apps.

I got my phone from my workplace and was a little unsure of it when I first got it. However, after having the phone for a couple weeks I am loving it. It's fun to use, fits nicely in my pockets and has some cool features to go with it. I have been a huge fan of using it for video calls. The camera is very solid and the fact I can stand my phone up on its own is so cool and super easy. I was a bit apprehensive about the flip aspect to begin with but it's actually enjoyable to use. The little screen on the front is a lot easier to use then I thought. I actually don't open my phone half the time. Overall I'd say it's a well thought out phone with features that work well with, and around, the folding capability.

I don't like having to unfold the phone and all have to log in just to check a quick text or multiple texts. The second is that I've only had this phone about 4 months and there are now 2 spots where the interior screen's light is poking thru. I take extra care of this phone and haven't dropped it yet so I am hoping the one year warranty will be honored. I know the flip is a new technology, so I'm ok with it as long as it gets fixed.

So this is fun at the start but a couple of uses in you realise how bad the camera is. Then less then 8 months in bubbles appear on the middle of the screen at the bend.. I am hoping that it will be repaired under warranty but struggling to get a clear answer from Samsung. I've been sent to an EE store only to be told I'll be charged under warranty, first because I'm not with EE but Samsung say they should repair there, then because parts arent avialable there will be delays, also told rule of thumb is thay any nicks or stratches even if un releated will result in them saying its not covered. Morning wasted. Still hoping for Samsung to do the right thing as clearly a design fault with thier screen protector.

The bend is still not good enough for standard use over less than a year. Screen is needing to be replaced even though I don't handle it roughly. Thing they don't tell you is you have to send your phone away for a couple days to get the free replacement and there is no loan phones. Causing me to loose money from my job for being without a phone or to put up with the crack since I traded my old phone in for it. Other than the design fault the rest has worked pretty much as expected. Not the most powerful flagship but if you're after something different then it's the way to go.

I love how fast the processor is and the fact that I'm able to multi-task because I can have more than one application open at the same time. It's perfect for taking selfies because it easily fits in your hand or can be used as it's own "tripod". Not only does it have all of those features but the front screen is amazing as well. You can completely customize it how you want and access various applications and features without having to open the phone! 10 out of 10 for me!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So, I have a ZFlip4 Bespoke edition but did not see an option to select that specific phone. Anyway, the phone has been great. I really do not see any tremendous changes from my ZFlip3, but definitely could not pass up the 4's preorder trade in deal. I haven't looked back to iPhones since moving to foldable devices by Samsung. I am really in love with this phone. I actually wasted juice on it and it's still good after some rice. Definitely get some protection on it though, as there seems to be hinge problems after dropping the device. Please put a case on the phone at least!

This is my second time having a Samsung galaxy flip phone, I like them. It fits well into my pocket the only thing that is a bit of a problem is when you fold it to many time there is a line forming on where it fold which means it won't last to long I haven't had it for a year yet and I can see there is a split starting to form. It's a good phone but the camera isn't the best either, people always talk about my phone when they see me fold it ..it's a great idea.The fact it doesn't come with a charging port or headphones is ridiculous though you pay alot of money and get less with the phone . The phone overheats sometimes gets really hot. So many features I'm yet to find or use but all in all great phone so far.
I recommended this product.

I bought the phone last month and am so very pleased with it. I always wanted a flip phone and Samsung have delivered. I have always had an Apple I Phone for its ease to use but they are just not lasting long at all. All of my children have Samsung and reassured me they would be easy to use and they are. I haven’t had any issues with my new flip phone at all and love it. It is compact easy to use charge quickly and the camera takes beautiful clear pictures and a great design. You can’t see the crease in the middle at all. You’ve won me over Samsung I won’t go back to Apple.

This product is so poor. Screen protector started peeling off in 4 months of purchase and when I left in service centre to get a new, I was told it would take 1-2 business day but it took 3 weeks. You can't see full videos on Facebook, half of the text or part of the get cut off. I asked at 2 different centres they said its the phone screen issue. If its the issue then why are selling for this much of money . Please ignore JBhifi +telstra sim plan, its a trap. Screen foot start coking off within weeks of purchase and didn't even got fixed when I left for repair for 3 weeks.

After having the phone for 1.5 years, a black dot follows by a line across the phone where the hinge is appeared. So it is not covered by warranty because they say it was physical damage. I have drop my phone before but the defects on the screen appear much much later. My phone also have protective cover. So my point is there is weakness in the phone hinge and it cause about 600 to fix once it is damage. my other samsung phone even dropping multiple time have not give me any problems whatsoever (last at least 6 years) so this is very disappointing as the flip phone is expensive to begin with and with the extra repair, It not worth getting it unless they have a good warranty on they hinge or a more sturdy phone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my Samsung Flip 4. It does everything I need without carrying a bulky phone. I thought I would never get used to not having the Samsung Note Series , not the case with this phone. I have many people ask me about this phone because it is not your typical phone. People seem to be curious about it. I think one day it will be the phone style of choice for most people. I think that Samsung will evolve the outside screen sometime , making it look like a phone in itself without opening it. I am totally happy with this model and look forward to future Galaxy Z Flip phones.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 4 days after getting the phone I dropped it getting out of my pocket(I'm 6'0) and because it hit the ground at an angle from about 3 feet the hinge is now out of place. The phone open at about a 70 degree angle for awhile unless I pushed the two halves together while opening it and the screen is slowly dying from that side of the phone. Standard Samsung phone with all the best features that I love, I'm just disappointed in the major weakness that should've been noted and fixed by the 3rd Iteration after all it is the entire reason for wanting the phone in the first place.

I bought my phone in March 2022 to give another chance to the Flip, (the screen suddenly cracked in my old samsung Flip, although warranty was still on the damage was not covered). However, same thing happened with the new one, screen got bubbles and the process to get it fix is exhausting. You need to send/post your phone to be assessed/repaired which means at least 4 days without a phone, going through the process of back up and with not guarantee of being cover under warranty. I just feel that for a phone that cost that much and with a problem that is well known the solution should be more practical. At the end Samsung wasn't helpful for me and I change my phone. Still giving samsung a chance I now have a S23.
