If you find that your Samsung oven control panel is not working or responding properly, there may be a few causes that you can check and try troubleshoot yourself before contacting a technician for further support.

1 Ensure Child Lock is disabled.

The Child Lock design varies by model* but usually there will be a lock icon located below a button for you to press, or just as a standalone button. For some models, you will need to press and hold both the 'Clock' and 'Timer' button for 3 seconds.

*To check details specific to your model, please refer to your user manual.

2 Check for any foreign matter caught between the buttons.

If there is foreign matter stuck between buttons, it can affect the responsiveness of the button. Remove any foreign matter and try again.

3 Check to see if the control panel is wet (for touch panel models).

Similar to the above point, if you have a touch panel and there is moisture, it can affect the responsiveness of the control panel. Wipe it down and let it dry before trying again.

4 Turn the oven off and on.

Turn off the oven, wait 30 seconds, and then turn it back on.
