Creating New Folders in the My Files app

Want to have documents, videos, photos and audio files saved to a central location without having to switch between multiple folders? Simply move or copy them into a folder via the My Files app, once saved you can even add the folder to your home screen for easy access. Follow the below guide for step-by-step instructions.

1 Launch the My Files app

2 Tap on Internal Storage
Tap on Internal Storage
3 Tap on 3 dots icon
Tap on 3 dots
4 Select Create folder
Tap on create new folder
5 Name your folder then tap on Create
Tap on create
1 Once the folder has been created search for the document, video, photo or audio file you would like to add

2 Long press the file to select

3 Tap on Move
Tap on Move
4 Select Internal Storage
Select Internal storage
5 Select your new folder
Select new workout folder
6 Tap on Move here
Select move here
1 Open the Internal Storage folder
Tap on Internal Storage
2 Long press the folder to select
Long press folder
3 Select More
Tap on more
4 Select Add to Home screen
Tap on Add to home screen
5 Tap on Add
Tap on Add
6 Once aded you will be able to view the folder on your Home screen
