How do I create a Samsung account?

Creating a Samsung Account has many benefits for you and all your Samsung products. These benefits include locating lost or stolen Galaxy phones and Galaxy tablets through Find My Mobile, syncing your data to Samsung Cloud, storing your private information in Secure Folder all the way to monitoring and controlling your Samsung devices through SmartThings. Once you have created your Samsung Account, you can register other Samsung products to your account for warranty purposes.

To create a Samsung account on your device see the below steps.

You can also head to to create a Samsung Account on any device or computer.

1 Head into your Settings menu > Accounts and backup
Settings > Accounts and backup
2 Tap on Samsung Cloud
Select Samsung Cloud
3 Either select Create account or Continue with Google
Select create account or sign in through Google
4 Agree to the Legal information then tap Next
Agree to the Legal information then tap Next
5 Fill in the prescribed fields, and then tap on Create to proceed.
Enter in your credentials then tap next
6 A verification email will be sent to you, tap on Go to inbox to be redirected to your Email Account.
Select Go to inbox
7 Tap on Done to finalise the process.
Select Samsung Account email
8 Tap on the VERIFY ACCOUNT button
9 Once your account has been verified, tap Close
Account has been verified
