How do I Remove Accounts & Screen Locks from my Galaxy Phone?

If you are preparing your Galaxy phone for a repair or service, you may need to remove registered accounts and turn off your lock screen passcode. Follow the below guide to learn how to remove your Samsung Account, Google Account & disable your lock screen.

Please Note: This guide is designed for Australian variant Galaxy devices, if you have an international device and require further support click here to get in touch with your Samsung subsidiary. 

1 Head into your Settings

2 Tap on Accounts and backup
Tap on Accounts ad backup
3 Select Manage accounts
Tap on Manage accounts
4 Select your Samsung account
Select Samsung account
5 Then tap on Remove account
Select Remove account
6 Select Remove account to reconfirm the action, then enter your Samsung Account password to remove the account from your phone.
Select Remove account

3 Select Screen lock and biometrics

4 Enter in your security PIN, Pattern or Password

4 Then select Swipe
