How do I Share Content to an Apple device from the Galaxy S26 series?

With the Share with Apple Devices features in Quick Share, you can easily share photos, videos, documents and more between your Galaxy S26 and a compatible Apple Device. Apple users can also send back content to your Galaxy S26 using Airdrop, making it simple to share files between devices without cables or third party apps. 

Please Note: This guide is designed for Australian variant Galaxy devices, if you have an international device and require further support click here to get in touch with your Samsung subsidiary.  This settings is compatible with the following iOS devices - iPhone 8 (2017) or later / iPad 5th generation (2017) or later / MacBook (2020 or later).

Enabling the Setting

1 Open the Settings app and tap on Connected devices
Select Connected Devices
2 Tap on Quick Share
Tap on Quick Share
3 Select "Share with Apple devices"
Tap on Share with Apple devices

If this setting doesn't appear on your Galaxy S26 ensure you are running on the latest 'Google Play Services' software. 

To update the software open Settings > Google services > All services > Privacy & Security tab > System services > Google Play services > Update.

Note: After updating Google Play services, it may take up to one day for the new policy to take effect.

Prior to sending content to an iOS device, ensure the receiving device has set the following settings.

Settings > General > AirDrop > Set 'Everyone (10 minutes only)' option.

1 Locate a file you would like to send, then tap on Share
Tap share
2 Select Quick Share
Tap on Quick Share
3 Tap on the Apple device
Select iPhone
4 Once the Apple user has accepted the file the image will be sent

1 On the iOS device, locate a file you would like to send
2 Tap on the Share button > AirDrop
2 Select the Galaxy device from the list of nearby devices
4 On your Galaxy device, tap on Accept

Once the transfer is complete you will be able to view the file in the relevant app

(e.g. Gallery for Photos & Videos or My Files for documents.)
