Activate Energy Saving Mode on a Samsung TV.

The Energy Saving function allows you to adjust the brightness of your TV to reduce power consumption. It can also help to reduce eye fatigue especially in a dim and dark room. This feature is available in Eco Solution option of your Samsung Smart TV.

 

Please note:

 

●   As the energy saving feature adjusts between high and low, the image may appear to flicker as it adjusts for the incoming brightness of the picture. if the flickering interferes with viewing, you may change into a different setting.

 

●   Depending on the model of your television the below screenshots may appear differently, however, the steps to select/unselect Energy Saving is still the same.

 

Follow the steps below to set the Energy Saving function on your television:

2020 TU/Q/LS Model TVs:
1 Press the Home Button Home button on the remote control to bring up the Eden Menu/Smart Hub and then select Settings Cog Settings.

2 Scroll down to the Spanner iconGeneral tab and then select Eco Solution.

3 Scroll down and highlight Energy Saving Mode. Press enter on your remote control to turn this function on or off.

2018 & 2019 NU/RU/Q/LS Model TVs:
1 Press the Home Button Home button on the remote control to bring up the Eden Menu/Smart Hub and then select Settings Cog Settings.

2 Scroll down and select the General Tab General Tab and then select Eco Solution.

3 On the Eco Solution settings page, scroll down to Energy Saving Mode and press enter on your remote control to turn this function On/Off.
