Using Panel Care on your Samsung OLED TV

Adjust the panel care settings of your select OLED Samsung TV to help protect your screen. You can allow pixels to shift at regular intervals, adjust the brightness of fixed images such as logos or allow your screen to adjust pixels to provide a clearer screen. Follow the guide below to learn how to do so.

Note: Panel Care settings are available on select OLED Samsung TVs.

1 Head to Settings and then All Settings

3 Here you can access your Panel Care settings:
  • Pixel Shift: Moves pixels at regular intervals to prevent screen issues.
  • Adjust Logo Brightness: Prevents screen issues by lowering the brightness of fixed images such as logos and banners.
  • Pixel Refresh: Adjusts pixels to provide a clearer screen. Some features such as reservation, recording and voice recognition do not work during Pixel Refresh.

Note

  • When Pixel Shift mode is used, some of the screen edges may move outside the screen borders and may not be visible. To fix the screen at the home position, turn off the Pixel Shift mode.
  • To prevent afterimage when viewing content with a lot of static images, turn on Pixel Shift mode.
